Awesome story

Definitely unexpected! Loved the FMCs fire and passion! Didn’t expect this to be a Mafia romance but it did deliver on intrigue and spice. Totally worth the read!

I should have known that I wasn’t going to like this book, when you see a blonde man who’s supposed to represent a SILVER fox on the cover. If you’re not consistent with your cover why would you be with your story 🙃

The timeline was EXTREMELY blurry, in one line they say that they’ve been talking for ONE week, just to turn around a few line later and say that it’s been WEEKS (plural) since they started talking ?

Then you have an FMC who changes personality overnight ? Don’t get me wrong I love an FMC who changes and grow as a character in a book. But so fast ?? It’s just not logical and realistic enough. She goes from being this sheltered/ shy little thing in 1 line and somehow becomes a sultry seductress a few lines after that ?

With the way the MMC was written, it truly felt like he was trying SO hard to make us see how bad and dangerous he was. “the man who made the city's underworld shake, was on his way to buy flowers. For a woman.” Like, would a man who’s confident in himself need to talk about himself like that ?? 🫩

Gennady from the moment he got those texts his world got lighter.Cassie was a kindergarten teacher with a very set life,work,home ,eat ,sleep,repeat.So on a dare she text someone on her school list not realizing G. was Gennady who also wast Anyla's father.,one of students.From that time on her life change,it wasn't set in boring ways,she was starting to feel,but things go in a different direction soon.With Gennady's life style,Cassie is force to change from teacher mode to a princess but with ties.Gennady has enemies and he protects his daughter 's safety and now Cassie.Everthing is fine for a while at the estate.The girls can't leave the house,Cassie is OK for while with it but soon she is force to change,Ginney,Gennady's ex sister in law is at the house putting words,doubts in Cassie's ear,it causes a stain between Cassie and Gennady so bad that hateful words spoken,Cassie can't take anymore and leaves but Gennady can't follow her Ginney has some information she can hold over him that will harm his daughter and Cassie.Gennady is beside himself, he is worried about Cassie,he fines out where she is but she is kidnapped by his worst enemy, He goes in to fines her.This a very good story,action,thrills,jealousy, greed but there is love and it is so beautiful that brings down the darkness and it opens up to new lives,sunshine. love and sunshine and even certain dreams are full filled!

Cassie is a teacher and when she goes out with some other teachers, they drink a little too much and play a game of truth or dare. This has Cassie doing a dare and she accidentally sends a sexy text to one of her student's father. Gennady is trying to keep his family safe when he sees the text Cassie has sent. It draws him and and they both start texting. Its not long before he learns who she is and things get very complicated. Will she lose her job? Can they be together?

This is a great story that will hook you in the first chapter. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Smut Saved It, Honestly

The Silver Fox Daddy was… fine. The plot was giving fanfiction filler, the characters had potential but never fully delivered, and the pacing dragged harder than it should’ve. But the smut? Oh, the smut carried.

Alexis Lee knows how to write tension and heat — those scenes were the only reason I kept turning pages. Every spicy moment hit exactly like it should, even if the story around it couldn’t keep up.

Four stars, but make no mistake…every single one of those stars is for the bedroom scenes. Everything else? Background noise.

Fateful Night

A drunken text to a forbidden relationship will have you on the edge of your seat as Gennady and Cassie navigate the complications of their attraction. This story was suspenseful, full of danger and excitement and a touch of spice. It had me experiencing a mixture of emotions as truths and lies were revealed. I could not get enough of this captivating story!

I actually really didn’t like this book. Which takes a lot from me. I can like a “bad” book, but this one was too much. The beginning was fine. Though the FMC got insufferable. The scene where she dressed in jeans and a sweater was giving “not like other girls”. Then she preceded to be worst through rest of the book. I started skimming through the end. Only finished it because it had a lot of the tropes I like.

Mafia romance

Felt like two books in one, you get the sexting back and forth, the billionaire who is sexy and naughty but then it gets darker a mafia Bratva romance with danger,betrayal and kidnappings.
Our couple fall hard and in the end they get their HEA.
Spice 2/5, the sex wasn't very intense, detailed or kinky but the sexting was hot in the beginning. The love was genuine and the story never slowed or got boring. Worth the read.

Hoped for something more

Maybe it's just me, but I find books that a propelled by dialog much more engaging. This book described a lot of scenes. In romance, that comes off as clinical versus steamy. I stuck with the book until the end, but I found myself frequently bored and distracted.

This is my first book by this author, and I enjoyed so much. Out for the night with her teacher friends, her best friend dares her to text someone in her contacts a sexy message. When she does a brand new world opens to her, and now she wonders if she will survive. Sexy and angst filled story.
