It's Christmas day, and all Scarlet's coworkers at Santa's Grotto have run off and left her to clean up. With all the mess made from excited kids unwrapping presents and adults enjoying free eggnog, there's so much to do. So, she's probably imagining it when the candy canes start talking to her. But, as she goes deeper into the grotto, their voices get louder, until she's suddenly strung up by tinsel and Daddy and Mommy Cane, as well as a whole hoard of sentient candy canes that start using her.
Caned is a Christmas Sentient Object Surprise featuring a human Christmas elf and candy canes who love to share.
This is another silly but also very spicy and minty short story. The sentient object books are definitely for those more open to the strange and fantastic.
Scarlet is working in Santa's Grotto as an Elf for the holidays. She's been trying to get enough money to start her own business. She lives the holidays and has an obsession with candy canes. She stayed late to clean up before the busiest day starts. She has no idea just how not alone she will be tonight.
When the tinsel and candy canes come to life and need your pleasure so they can survive what do you say? Scarlet absolutely said yes. Enter the mint syrup which will keep you coming all night long.
I can not imagine having to clean up after this mess. Lol. I absolutely love these crazy books.
If you want a fun, out of the box holiday spicy adventure...take a walk down Candy Cane Lane.
We have Scarlet here who finds herself alone on Christmas Eve. Or so she thinks. She's working on cleaning up after pictures with Santa at Santa's Grotto and she finds herself in a situation where Mommy and Daddy Candy Cane and their Candy Cane hive need to be fed to survive until next Christmas. These Candy Canes feed on Scarlet and her arousal in more ways than you can possibly think. This story was a quick, extremely creative and spicy read that will have you looking at holiday candy in a whole new way. LOL.
This time last year I read the brilliant Basted by Abby and following that, in the Summer, Creamed.
This book is the third in the Beastly Feasts series and is still really, my first real foray into the sentient object romance(?) genre.
As I said last time, I'm still working out just how a really feel about the genre - but I totally trust Abby now (having read many of their books) and always know that I'm in for a fun read.
Now, don't get me wrong, these quick read novellas do come with plenty of content warnings and I would definitely recommend that you check those out before starting - but I tend to be ok with most things and am happy to read them all without thinking too hard about any of them (in fiction!)
The festive period is by far my favourite time of the year and so obviously, I was going to jump at the chance to read this book.
I'm not too sure though, just how I feel about admitting that I have a soft spot for candy canes - I certainly have a slightly different view after reading this - but luckily, I've never been keen on eating them - I just love that stripey, red and white image so much!
This was so much fun and I absolutely loved the idea of all the tiny candy canes milling around but I have to say that I've never been too keen on the Daddy kink, but then there was so much else going on here that I just whizzed through this.
The ending took a slight turn even further into the dark side - but I loved this little colony twist and it was great to see Scarlett fulfilling her dreams in the future.
Another great addition to this series and the perfect (super spicy) speedy read for the festive break!
This story was RIDICULOUS in all the best ways 🤣🤣. If you’re looking for a short, fun, sentient object read for the season that is PACKED with spice and has a cute ending Abby is your girl, I usually stick to her MM books but after this one I might have to go check out the other sentient books. The line “A pussy car wash had never been on my Christmas list, but it was now.” Absolutely SENT ME 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Absolutely perfect little erotica, sentient story. Mild grey themes with a bit of dub con thrown in, but all wrapped in a pretty little bow by the end. Quick read to bump up your end of year goal, or just a touch of brain rot for a busy holiday season. You will spend the rest of Christmas side eyeing the candy canes, that's for sure!
I love all of Abby Hunters books! This little romp is very Christmas themed and is perfect to get you in the Christmas spirit… or the Christmas mood maybe is a better way to say it, haha! The Candy Canes are alive and excited for some fun with one of Santa’s sweet (mall) elves. Scarlet sure loves peppermint!
I’m never going to look at Candy Canes the same way again! I haven’t read many sentient object romances, but Caned by Abby Hunter definitely delivered on the erotic holiday spirit. It was super spicy and entertaining—perfect if you’re looking for a quick erotic festive read packing peppermint punch.
Ugh I love Abby Hunter, she is a sentient object romance goddess. This was so good, it was pretty dark and dirty which is a perfect pairing to such sweet candies dishing out the “love”. 5 stars, super spicy, non stop sentient object action, it is just as jammed packed as our FMC gets with candy cane juice! lol so good, loved it!
Spicy, spicy, pepperminty, and spicy! Fun and creative holiday smut. Scarlet gets the candy cane surprise of her life after closing and cleaning up the Grotto on Christmas Eve. Check the trigger warnings, but this story was exactly what I’d hoped it would be. Enjoy!
Hot does not come close to describe this book. Scarlet gets the surprise of her life. She stayed late to clean up after everyone else left the store. I do not want to give any spoilers but keep something close to help cool you off.
I received an advance copy and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
I’m sitting here trying to figure out exactly how I feel about this book! It’s got me side eyeing the candy canes in my house looking for any hint of movement 😂 this was such a good and quick read!
This was a very well written monster book. It gave me all the right feels. The Writting makes it so vivid. This is the second book I’ve read and I can’t wait to read more!
this book has a everything you need to help you get through the holidays. it is a spicy book which is also very funny and I loved reading every minute of it.
