This was a heartfelt romance that reminded me how love can find you even when you least expect it. Brielle and James pulled me right into their world. Their chemistry was undeniable, but what stood out most was how Mya balanced the sweetness with the heat. And whew, the spice was there.

Mrs. Mya, this was a quick read for me. I enjoyed the instant love that James and Brielle had. James came into Brielle's life at the right moment. Her sudden loss rocked her world on its tilt. She needed a shoulder to lean on and a friend to hold her. He became her everything. He proved that he wanted to build a strong foundation with her. He took as far as doing a career change so that he could be present for his relationship and growing family. He was persistent and determined to be with Brielle. His actions spoke loud and clear. He was a man after her heart and managed to obtain it.

Love Wins
It was great. James is a woman's dream man. It is not often that a woman finds a man like James. Brielle was a lucky woman. She had to go through the frogs to get to her prince.
It was sad in the beginning when she lost her friend. I didn't think she would get over it. I was glad she was able to take the sadness and make a good thing out of it.
Brielle giving James a chance was great. I love how their relationship developed. There were setbacks, but come back, it was great to see love wins.

James and Brielle 😍😍😍 This was a cute and steamy little insta love story, which I am a sucker for. The initial incident saddened me but we didn’t have enough knowledge to truly be affected by it. J and B bonded during an unfortunate incident but I guess the second time was the charm because they hit the ground running. One little issue that was tied up as quickly as it started didn’t stop the progression of the relationship. I love how maturely that was handled. I’m ready for whatever is next!

The author warns you that it’s instalove and fast paced so do NOT be surprised! When things are happening lightening fast. It started off surprisingly sad, just out of left field. I wish we saw a bit more of the effects of thar situaruon on Brielle, but instead we had a 6 month time jump. James was a man’s man. A protector, provider, secure in himself and what he wanted, and downright FILTHY🙈. Also a round of applause for a plus size FMC👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾.

3.5 stars. I love Instalove! Why waste time? 😆 James & Brielle were cute! Brielle had to work through grief and a difficult past but James was patient and all about her. She was really secure with him.

Not this book had me tearing up 14 pages in. That was NOT how I wanted to spend my lil lunch break. I just wanted to read the first few pages of a book to help pass time lol. Had me dodging my coworkers’ eyes nshit 😂
Anyway, “His Secure Embrace” was cute and funny. James was who he thought he was and had me blushing like he was talking to me 😂 I feel like I didn’t really learn anything about Brielle outside of the her being thicc and an influencer/entrepreneur.

I will add that I feel like Jana’s death was unnecessary 🤷🏾♀️ It gave Brielle the drive to accomplish some life goals but something else could’ve influenced that. We didn’t even really get to see how Jana’s death affected Brielle. Brielle brushed on it a bit six months after Jana died and writes a letter to her, but we don’t really get grief in this book. It happens off page.

James and Brielle were attracted to each other when they first laid eyes on one another. Tragic circumstances caused them to be separated for 6 months, but once they saw each other again, nothing stopped them from being together. James and Brielle's relationship was something that I enjoyed reading about. James knew that Brielle was the woman for him, and I loved how he went about showing her that. I also loved how sweet and loving they treated one another. There was very little drama, and I was really happy that the small misunderstanding in the book was quickly cleared up. This was a very good insta-love book with great chemistry, energy and emotional moments (Author Mya had me crying in the first chapter) that I highly recommend!!

SIX MONTHS LATER SHE FINALLY DECIDED TO GET OUT THE HOUSE TO CELEBRATE HER BOO LYNAE’S BIRTHDAY. CLEARLY GOD WAS ON JAMES SIDE BECAUSE HE FINALLY PUT THEM IN EACH OTHERS ORBITS AGAIN. ONLY THIS TIME JAMES ISN’T LETTING HER LEAVE WITHOUT GETTING HER NUMBER.

James and Brielle relationship blossomed quickly, but I loved it! They both have had problems in the past with dating, but didn’t give up on love. It was sad to see Jana go and for Bri to blame James, but I’m glad they ran back into each other 6 months later. They got together and didn’t let up. Celeste almost ruined it for Brielle with her lies. Women have to remember you can’t always believe an ex! Glad James had the results and resolved that issue quickly. I wish this story was longer, but I thoroughly enjoyed it!

This was the sweetest sexiest 🔥little novella. It gave everything the title offered. There was no point in the story where Brielle had to feel confused or insecure about James or how he felt. I love that for her. I love stories like this. 😍A beautiful solid love without the drama just to say it’s there, or the random miscommunication like they aren’t both cognizant adults. Thank you Mya!

New book bae alert!! James, baby you can have it all! 🤣 Protected Brielle from their first encounter. This book deflee broke my heart at the very beginning but i made it through! James was also funny af! When he started quoting DMX, i lost it! 🤣And him calling her Goldilocks! Dawg!!! 🤣🤣 Brielle is me and i am she. We are so alike, it’s crazy!! This was a really good “love at first sight” type book! Book lived up to its title.

James did not come to play!!!! I hate the tragedy in the beginning but it had to be God send for these two to meet yet again & when they did he said she is mine!!!! I’m happy Brielle opened up cause honestly thought she was gonna run him away but he wasn’t having that! Now when ole girl popped up I wanted to strangle her! Im glad they worked through that! I love anything you do Mya this was great, smooth, quick!

This was such a sweet read! I didn’t want it to end. I started reading due to insomnia at 4am and the first chapter had me in my feelings I had to sit up and turn on a light.

Loved Their Love Story
I loved the realness and growth of both characters. The frank discussions and communication style was my jam too. I love that we got to experience their relationships with the important people in their lives as well. It makes them fuller characters.
Every potential miscommunication, nipped in the bud. Every insecurity, acknowledged and soothed. Loved them together and their lives apart. Enjoyed the honest and flow and wisdom throughout the story.

The girls asked her to come celebrate at the club and who do she James and it was on and popping when he told her she was going to be his, he meant that and she did now with three kids. Love it

Aww, the second book that I've read today that gives all the feels. Love is beautiful in any form, and I love when a man knows exactly who and what he wants. Oftentimes, people make love and relationships too hard. But if you are straight up and stand on Business, something beautiful can be born.

His Secure Embrace is a really good short read. It seems like all the good books are short and the ending is rushed along to the point where one gets confused of the storyline. I would have liked to see more of Brielle and James’s story evolve at the end. With that minor issue said, the book was great and well written.
