This was my first book by Megyn Ward, and it definitely won’t be my last—I’m already planning to dive into her Gilroy clan series next! Revenge Fantasy is a sizzling, drama-filled romance that blends betrayal, revenge, and second chances into an addictive read.
Megyn Ward delivers a fast-paced, steamy romance with plenty of drama and heart. Millie is a strong, relatable heroine who refuses to be a victim, and Dean is the perfect mix of rugged charm and loyalty. If you love revenge plots, sizzling chemistry, and a satisfying happily-ever-after, Revenge Fantasy is must-read.

The characters are SO well done. Dean is gonna split that line. You're either gonna hate to love him or love to hate him, lol. Millie is a little sheltered introvert who's happy to be on the outside looking in, or so we think. Bring the two of them together and watch the flames combust. I really do think my favorite part of a Megyn Ward book is her characterization. She has the best characters.
Revenge Fantasy is built on revenge, obviously. And once the story gets to moving you don't want to quit reading. You can't wait to get to the next sparring session, the next steamy scene. You can't wait to find out will they, won't they. Who's going to stop them now.
I LOVE all things angsty and this one is no exception.
With fantastic writing, a storyline that's fresh, and so many of my favorite tropes Revenge Fantasy is my fave read of the year!

The revenge was incredibly satisfying, especially the reveal of who tipped her off and how thoroughly Alistair was ruined. The spice definitely spiced.
That said, the chemistry leaned more insta-attraction than tension-filled banter. The story tells us there’s history and animosity between Dean and Millie, but we don’t really get to see it play out on the page.
Overall, a fun and enjoyable read, even if the emotional connection didn’t fully pull me in.

As a standalone Millie and Dean’s story is rich, steamy and very satisfying. That like The Kings of Brighton books, it is crafted in the Gilroy's Universe makes it all the better as longtime readers get glimpses of our favorites from those early stories.
Readers who enjoy well developed characters, believable storylines and plenty of plot driven steam are sure to love this book.

I absolutely lapped this book up, completely in two days, wow wow wow, the relationship between Millie and Dean was to dieee for, every time I saw the words 'still want to kiss me, mills' honestly pulled on my heart strings, absolutely brilliant book and I feel so privileged and thankful for the opportunity to read this book as an ARC, highly recommend reading this 👌
