This book was Absolutely beautiful, fucking heartbreaking and HOT as fuck.
I had tingles almost every second of reading this book, I was smiling, gushing and was enamoured in awe.
Hell, I was bloody blushing.
“This is about letting go. Do you understand? This is about just trusting me and letting me give you what you need. Okay?”
This is the kind of bdsm I want. The kind of bdsm I've been hunting for, for years. It was everything I wanted and thank the Lord it didn't follow the plotline of literally every other heterosexual bdsm book out there.
I've read a lot of bdsm but I always gave them lower ratings. It was very discouraging because I thought maybe I don't like bdsm.
Well, that thought is Absolutely RUBBISH. This reminded me why I fucking love bdsm, why I love the power exchange, the oldie but a goodie, a Dom and a Sub.
One night and Cal was addicted, addicted to Gideon’s rough hands and sweet kisses, his praise and his punishment, pleasure and pain.
There's just something Absolutely liberating over surrendering your body to someone else and trusting them, believing in them to take care of you better than anyone else, hell better than yourself.
And this book was exactly that. The power of a submissive is unmatched and Cal is fucking EVERYTHING and more, my precious baby.
Cal sucked in a breath as Gideon fucked into him with his fingers, his ass still sore from riding Gideon the day before, but it was a good ache, the best possible ache, the ache that came from knowing Gideon wanted him, just him.
And Daddy Dom deserves to have a fucking crown in his head for the damn king he is.
He was just... Man how does one even explain perfect?
He was everything I wanted and needed him to be and he was bloody perfection when it came to Cal. This man is gold and I'll be damned if he wasn't treated like one.
He loved that he didn’t have to think about anything, didn’t have to worry. Gideon was there, and he was in charge, and that meant it would all be okay. At least, here in Gideon’s bed, everything would always be okay.
This book was exceptionally good and what continued to render me in awe was the amount of details in this book. Not just about BDSM, but the characters, their lives, things that function around their lives, location, texture, functions, etc. Etc.
One of the many is how Our main lead, Cal has Type 1 Diabetics and the amount of knowledge behind that is incredible.
The details is very subtle and if you're neurotic enough like me to notice, wow. It just enhances the experience even more and completely filled me in awe and respect for this author.
“Color,” Gideon purred against his skin.
It took Cal a full thirty seconds to register what Gideon was even asking. Red, his body screamed. Red like his skin? Red like the fire burning in his belly. He didn’t know if he could take anymore. His body shook, but he didn’t know if it was adrenaline or fear. Still, when he opened his mouth, all that came was, “Green, Daddy.”
And I know this is bdsm, a power exchange so consent reading shouldn't be something to rave about because it's bloody obvious. But man, I am telling you. Nothing is damn hotter than consent.
+ This is my first book by this author and I honestly can't wait to read more.

Christ. My cheeks are reaching the fucking rooftop and my face hurts from smiling so damn hard.
