Okay. This is a whirlwind of a book. The author straight-up says so.
It is a quick, hot read.
I enjoyed it, but I felt a little robbed on the third wish. It felt like it was an opportunity for him to go into his perspective or give her his wish(es). Just a couple more pages.
However, knowing what I know, I would still read it again. Consider your environment or the timing wisely, especially if your skin flushes.

I love the concept of summoning a genie and getting wishes in romance. Ashley found an antique in a cluttered old store and bought it- only to summon a genie that looks more demon. He will grant her three wishes- but they come with a price... of a sexual nature. My opinion of her dulled a bit over the course of the story as her wishes and actions were shallow. But I guess it's all about the smut. I did like the genie's personality, but apart from the sexual stuff, we don't see much of it until the end when he seems sweet. 3 stars

October 11, 2025Ashley discovers a antique oil lamp at an antique shop. Thislamp, however, turns out to be the dwelling place of a genie named Malakai. Malakai offers Ashley three wishes, but with a significant catch that drives the plot. The short story was exceptionally well-written, featuring great characters and a compelling storyline. Little plot to this short story, but it's filled with all the smutty goodness and has me wanting to go to an antique shop and getting my own tarnished lamp. My third wish wouldn't have matched what was the one in the story, as I would have wished to have the monster to stick around all the time. He seemed very satisfying - in all ways!.

Ashley finds a pretty little trinket at the antique shop with a big red deliciously growly voice. An extra biiig spicy genie for such bold woman. A cheeky read to warm up a chilly afternoon.

"Unleashed" is a short smutty ride that you'll be glad to be on. This novella took me less than 30 minutes to consume! Ms. Kitty you have once again satiated my hunger for smutty monster shenanigans and I'm so ready to shenan-again 😆. Who wouldn't want a genie that gives you 3 "wishes" and the only cost is having the most primal, toe-curling, enjoyable spicy fun-times...heck sign me up! "I volunteer as tribute" lmao 🤣🤣😂😂. Plus a genie that wants you to get yours and makes it very clear that you are desirable.
So after reading this and Ms. Kitty Black's other latest spicy novella...I clearly have a problem *wink wink*. But my next partner will reap the amazing benefits because I have sooo many lovely ideas now. Kitty Black keep doing God's work!! LOL.
