The Hunter's Code #16

The Hunter’s Code: Book 16: A Portal Progression Fantasy Series

Rate this book
Armed conflicts erupt throughout the world. The compulsive appetites of the Dragon Empire are plain as day, but not all is so simple. Unexpected allies and enemies, secret intrigues and open hostility – that’s what awaits me, Alexander Galaxius, right now.

On the other hand, a troubled time is a good time to stay under the radar, level up, and train the best army in this world, modeled after the Legions of the Hunters.

Plus... Maybe I can find myself some full-fledged apprentices here?

*reading/review in progress*

A few errors here and there not just text issues but also minor plot points like the following:

Inconsistent plot sucks big diseased DD!🙁

There are also additions out of the blue that lack prior mention and which would have needed such to make sense.

But worst of all is the overwhelming shift to 'tell' instead of show in story delivery. All to the point that it reads more like a synopsis instead of a proper story.

Another eventful story with an interesting twist at the very end.

Xander sabotages the Chinese war efforts, prepares for his double wedding, while the drunk duo goes on a railroad trip. Odin rises to new heights but Shnoop doesn't shine enough this time. I liked Khrulyov's payback.

Comments

The timeline of Arina seems to contradict the history.

Who is drunk grandpa? As he is afraid to be recognised by the elite.
