Book 13 brings a fresh dynamic to the Dominion Hall world with Alexia — a journalist who refuses to back down from the truth — and Levi, the sixth Montana Dane who steps in as her protector, partner, and eventual perfect match. Their chemistry is natural and compelling, the kind that grows stronger the deeper they get pulled into the Vanguard mess.
And speaking of Vanguard… they finally show their face. But instead of answers, the danger only sharpens. The organization is still twisting in the shadows, still causing chaos, and still holding secrets that feel like they’re building toward a massive reveal in book 14. The tension, the mystery, and the sense of “we’re almost there” are all dialed up beautifully.
This installment blends danger, romance, and investigative energy in a way that keeps the pages flying. Alexia and Levi shine as a couple, and the overarching plot feels closer than ever to its long‑awaited resolution.

The Dominion Hall series is winding down with The Patriot being the next to last book. Honestly, I hate for it to end. I've been hooked since page one of the first book. The Dane brothers are formidable protectors and far more capable as well as lethal than most know. Levi Dane certainly falls into that category. Amelia Emerson knows danger and can sniff out the real story far better than most of her peers. Reporting the truth is what she does and what she stands for. Getting at the truth, in this case, has far different consequences than what she was led to believe. For Levi discovering some hidden truths makes him leery yet needing to know it all becomes a priority. The Danes grow ever closer to discovering the what, why and who are intent on destroying them. I can't wait for the next book when Jack Flynn and Lainey Ray tie all the loose ends together.

Fantastic
I loved this one. Really, truly, it was great. I loved the history between them. It was perfectly set up to wreck the reader with the long, lost love that's ending was necessary at the time. No matter, if it hurt and stayed with them both for years. I love a good second chance and this was really satisfying.

Suspenseful
Karma is so transparent in this story not only about love but also about family and destiny. This is one of the fastest reading books because the story just had great momentum and speed and tempo and a storyline that took you by the hand and walk you through something like a military operation. Excellent book.

excellent story
Very well written. Each of the fourteen brothers had unique characteristics and mates were well matched. I would reread this book anytime.
