Celebrating 100 Books in the Children of the Gods Series! For one hundred books, you've journeyed alongside Annani's clan of immortals—celebrating their triumphs, lamenting their setbacks, and, most of all, cheering them on as they pursued their trueloves.
Now, in this landmark installment, witness the culmination of Tamira and Eluheed's story. What began with a lost treasure and blossomed into a love found now reaches a stunning conclusion.
Some prisons are made of more than walls.
Some treasures are worth more than gold.
And some hopes burn eternal.
While Tamira and Eluheed's trilogy concludes with this centennial celebration, their story is far from over. The next epic romance is already unfolding, where destinies intertwine and new loves are tested. The adventure that began 100 books ago continues…
I live the books and the series. I've read the other series and I am excited for the new series to come. Though i am hoping that the new series won't cause any delays in new books for this one. It's so hard to wait between new releases. I enjoy each new character and plot twist. Very excitedly anticipating the new couples. I can't wait to find Khian! The only thing i could critique on is the length of each book. Each story is consumed so quickly that I am left with a long stretch of time in between. I wish each book gave is just a bit more. Though i am thoroughly invested in this series!
I have read all 100 novels. I have been in love with this series from the start. I used to anxiously await every new release and read them all the way through as soon as they were available. Recently though, they have been harder and harder to keep interested in and want to read. There is considerably less romance than there used to be. Heavier and heavier topics make it harder to get through. I read to distract myself from how hard and horrible life is, but sometimes these books give me so much anxiety I now have to scroll right past certain chapters. Also, I am tired of the lead up to Annani and Khiann continued story. We finally have all the pieces in place and I get three books about Novuh's island. An island that I like to forget about because of how disgusting it all is. I an disgusted by Navuh and how he looks at life. Arianna isn't this sweet soul. She is a woman that stands by allowing her "true love mate" to do disgusting deplorable things while throwing her hands up and saying "oh well, what are you going to do". He claims to love her, but there is no way based on his actions. Then you throw in the newest random curve ball of Elias being some other kind of immortal or God and another random mystery of treasures in a mountain. There was a lot of hype going into this being the 100th book. I was so hopeful that Annani's story would finally progress. All I got was 300 pages of plotting escape. Oh, and Carol and her random spy women. I got excited for the last part of the book when Tula finally joined the party. That's it. I'm so disappointed. I really loved these books, but it's harder and harder to get excited for them. I will keep reading because I NEED to know about Annani and Khiann. I want to know how Tula's story continues. I also need less doom and gloom and a little more happiness and hope.
Tula let Tamira ole bitter tail lead her astray instead of trusting in her friend, Areana
I like Tamira less and less with each book and, at this point, could care less if she will be reunited with her son. They sound like birds of a feather.
I thought Tamira was being unreasonable. 1, Ariana has no control over Navuh. 2, she too lost her children plural! Not knowing their names like everyone else. 3, she should be glad Kalugal lead her son away. I didn't understand her anger.
The contrast between her and Tula was spoke volumes. Tula didn't think she was worthy of asking for her baby to escape the fate of the others while Tamira somehow felt entitled.
Can Eluheed find a way to retrieve the sacred treasures buried beneath Mount Ararat?
What is Navuh hiding in the basement of his mansion?!!! I still think it's Kian.
All in all that was so over what was going on on Navah's island. The most exciting and emotional part for me was the end where Ariana busted them all. I found myself rushing through the pages so I could get back to the clan!
Cant wait to get some answers in book 101 of Dark Island Trilogy starting with "Dark Island Rescue"!
I had to do some skipping around. Conversations between Tamira--whom I grew to dislike majorly (is that a word?)--and Eluheed/Elias were boring and kind of repetitive. Tony and Tula--she got on my nerves, too-- were boring and repetitive, too. I couldn't take any more of them, so I ended up skipping from chapter 34-ish to the end.
Tamira and Tula both got on my nerves with their griping about Areana keeping secrets from them. Um...hello?! Have you met her husband...Navuh...nutcase with delusions of world domination... ruthless killer of his enemies and those who betray him???? Was she supposed to risk herself more than she already does to tell you sh...uh...stuff that's none of your business??? GTFOH.
Yeah...so...I don't like either of them. I'm indifferent to Tony and Eluheed for the most part.
This 3-book series-within-the-series started out great! I was excited! But this 3rd book kinda fell flat. Here's hoping the next set brings the fire back.
I was so excited for this book, knowing that Elias was going to get Tamara off the Island and somehow find her son too. But that is for another story. Now Tula and Tony are in as well! Which brings the possibility of reuniting with her sister also another possible story. But nothing can ever be that easy right? So Elias and Tony find the sub and figure out the hurdles they need to jump, while Tamara and Tula set up diversions. And when the time comes, the 4 of them head for the tunnel but get caught by Arianna. We will see what happens in the next book, I am so excited to find out! Meanwhile back at the village, Ruvon gets invited to a family dinner by Arazoo’s mother, and Tim and Hildegard finally get things cleared up!
Dark Shaman: Eternal Hope is amazingly book 100 of I.T. Lucas's The Children of the Gods series. Just being able to write 100 books is amazing enough. Being to be able to do that in one series and hold the readers attention, amazement and love of the story is an incredible feat. Congratulations to Mrs. Lucas and that entire team. The series has been wonderful from book 1 through book100 and the spin-off series. As with do many books in the series this one ends with me wanting more and needing to know what's next. The characters are truly wonderful and their lives matter. So ready for more books.
Plans within plans within plans are happening now, both in the Immortal’s world and on Navuh’s island. Tamira and Elias’s love will push them to make a break from the island, but escape will not be easy. Back at the California compound, Carol begins instructing in her femme fatale spy school which promises a lot of good material. Areana’s complicated relationship with Navuh continues to be a head-scratcher. How can she remain loyal to him as well as to the other women who are trapped in the harem.
We've reached book 100 Whoop, Whoop so I've read and listened and read some more all 100 of these books this year!
Do we know how many are going to be in the series??? I'm starting to worry im gonna have to start something else until the next book arrives?
Will they get away safely? will she have the baby safely? Will She meet up with Wonder & Co Will Elias find his treasure? Will his treasure be something that the Clan can use to defeat Navuah once and for all???
Dark Shaman: Eternal Hope, Book 100 of the Children of the Gods series by Isabell Lucas @itlucas_author - You must read this book serial in order from book 1!
OH MY GOODNESS! What an amazing book about Eluherd & Tamira! I can't wait for the next book! Tropes: Contemporary, Paranormal (Gods/Goddesses/Aliens), MF, Harem Captive, Overall Storyline Arc For The Series & a Brutal cliffhanger for the next part of this series!
Most of this book takes place in the harem with Eluheed, Tamira, Tony, and Tulah. With Tulah' s pregnancy, the four plot a way off the island. However, Areana catches them. Eluheed himself needs to leave soon because his contact with the enhanced soldiers is affecting his mind and he is coming close to getting pulled into their shared consciousness. We also have an HEA for Tim and Hildegard and for Ruvon and Arezoo in this book.
Now we are getting closer to the brotherhood understanding, with Areana’s relationship with Navuh coming to light and how she saved all the woman previously in the harem for a life of servitude in unspeakable ways. 5000 yrs of friendship and understanding comes to light with Tula and Tamira how Areana actually saved them. Book 100 definitely gave me a new perspective. Get ready for the goddess sisters to save more immortals… I am hoping the sisters work together on this.

The ladies are back in the harem, and their old routines continue. But Tamira and Eluheed start to plan their escape which has many obstacles to resolve to make sure that nothing stops them from succeeding. Tula and Tony are brought into their plans. But when all seems to be working out something happens that may foil their success. What will happen now?
How to take fingerprints and observe people. Really? I want a BIG battle or lost loves finding each other (you know which goddess I'm talking about.) This is nuts. And now I suppose it will be another three-to-six books to find out who is on the mountain, 9-12 before we ever get to said mountain, because we will have the stories of people we haven't seen before. Ugh. Why am I so invested in this series to keep reading?
Well what can I say. This whole trilogy has had a lot of action and suspense in it and the third book does not disappoint.
There are some twists that I didn't see coming. It feels like change is in the air for several couples and I hope for the better. This is not the end to Eluheed and Tamira's story.
To have reached 100 books in itself is a great milestone, and to do it whilst keeping readers on the edge of their seats just miraculous. Some things repeat, but I understand that the books can be read as a stand-alone. I am so happy for Tula to finally be free so let's hope everything falls in place for them.
I love your books they are awesome I love the stories and with your stories I can relate because true hard times we struggle but with every struggle we can still be a better person and we can find happiness so Thank you for writing your books and hope you keep writing this books they are great can’t wait for next book on this series 😊
This series is an absolute delight. I find that the further I get in the series the more invested and captivated I become. I.T. Lucas does an excellent job putting out the books quickly but I can’t seem to put the books down when I start reading them and I quickly get through them. I can’t wait for the next book
I have thoroughly enjoyed each book in the Children Of The Gods mega-series, and this was no exception. I thought that book 100 would wrap up the series, so I was disappointed in that. But, I will continue reading each book because I’ve never read a series that interweaves characters and story lines like this. I find each book fascinating, and I feel like part of the family now.
Another amazing book! We are on the cusp of a big change on the Island. I love how she weaves all these characters together so seamlessly. I'm only sad about waiting for the next book. She is honestly the best author. I always say that but truth is truth.
I live to read these books, the characters are like family and you become invested in the story which always keeps you guessing. I admire Isabell for her great mind or imagination to keep creating such rich characters. I loved this book and can’t wait until the next one.
Dark Shaman: Eternal Hope (Children Of The Gods Book 100) by I T Lucas. Eulheed, Tamira, Tula and Tony plot to escape the Island. Will Soraya give her permission to allow Ruven to get engaged to Arezoo?
I. T. Lucas is a genius!! Book 100 is every bit as gripping to read as the previous 99 were!! The only thing that made me set it down was pure bodily exhaustion. I am very eager for book 101 to be published, because I truly can't wait to see what happens next!!
Every time I think I have reached an end this story extends itself. Tamira and Eluheed are such a great story and I have to know what MT Arafat's treasure is.
I love this series and this book is as great as the others. I'm invested in the storyline and really love that past characters as Silk brought up. I'm on the edge of my seat waiting for the next book in this series and hope this series continues on and on!!!
I can’t believe that after reading 100 of these books it still as exciting as the first. Might even be more exciting than the first of the 20th, the 40th the 75th. I will say the hundred was great and it left me wishing that 101 was out now.
This is a milestone book for the series. Book 100 !! It appears that the Brotherhood is imploding on the Island and Navuh is momentarily focused on creating the “super soldier” soldiers although they revolted.
The story continues and I am so glad that I can continue to enjoy this series!! It is going so much the way I could imagine and I am enjoying every new installment of this series.
