“ If God is in Charge” is a well written collection by author Steve Brown offering thoughts for Christians and Skeptics.

The initial read was in 1996, and this reread ( trying to navigate the yellow highlights done then) proved the offering valuable and fresh.

After reading the book, there is no point in the “IF”, because it’s not a question.

I enjoy the author's pastoral tone and biblical encouragement. As a member of Generation X, I found myself particularly nostalgic for the writing style of the 1980's. I even found Brown's repeated assumptions that nuclear armageddon is the top-of-mind bugaboo on his readers' minds comforting. What a simpler time, in many respects!
