clairebell had no business being this cute despite the horrors surrounding them. i loved this novel, truly, and every time i had to put my kindle down i just thought about picking this back up

when the series that this novel is based on first released the trailer i heard that quite a bit of people saying claire & bell are going to be toxic when in reality they are so sugary sweet it’s almost sickening???? like, they are the most gfs to ever gfs right from the start and that honestly just made their chemistry and tension even better

anyways!!!! loved this!!! loved loved loved it <3 as of now it’s probably my favorite thai/gl novel to date.

🥹🥹🥹I’m so happy it ended well. I was having second thoughts on attaching my self with the characters because there is a possibility of it not ending well. I’m just really happy they got their happy ending and they deserve it…Well, this novel made me hate some men a little more. All the sufferings they went through are all because OF THOSE DISGUSTING TRASH. But im not generalizing them all because there are still good men in the novel like the son of the warden and the bf of natty. I’m just really happy(I’m in tears wtf) I hate reading books but I was able to read the is in just a day. I started last Wednesday and continued today bc nagklase ako kahapon. Ayun, I’m just really happy na happy ending sya because some people are saying sa tiktok na baka daw sad. And medyo may trauma pa ako dun sa friendly rivalry. Ayun I’m really na happy ending sya(paulit ulit eh) I don’t know I’m just genuinely happy for them because they really suffered.

4.5 stars. This was so freakin’ adorable to be set in prison! Claire and Bell are both in prison for crimes that they didn’t commit and when they meet each other for the first time sparks fly. I loved this. Claire is in for murder, Bell is in for selling drugs. There are definitely some heavier and dark elements to this but somehow it still also managed to be incredibly sweet and romantic. I loved Claire and Bell and thought their chemistry was really good, the plot was intriguing and kept me hooked and I liked the ending. The pilot of the adaptation is on youtube and I would HIGHLY recommend watching it because it’s fucking fantastic. I can’t wait for the full show. This was a great read and I would highly recommend it and I could definitely see myself reading it again.

First GL Novel

I just recently got into the Thai GL world after seeing a promo on tiktok for ClaireBell the series, two days after the first episode premiered. I was immediately pulled in, but realized I would be having to wait to see what happens next. I soon found out most GL series are based on books, so of course I found out where I could read ClaireBell, and here we are.
As my first Thai gl novel, I wasn’t really sure what I was expecting, but I loved every bit of it. Although I can already tell the series will be a bit different than the book after just two episodes so far, I can’t wait to see how they’ve brought this novel to life on screen. I do see this series being a game changer.

Thực ra cũng không phải quá xuất sắc nhưng nói chung nội dung cũng tạm ổn, tuy lấy bối cảnh trong tù nhưng không khí chung của truyện cũng không quá tăm tối hay drama, cũng không có plot twist gì nhiều. Với mình thì đây là một quyển truyện nhẹ nhàng hợp để đọc giải trí

picked this up because of the ongoing series. definitely different and the novel is more complex. nevertheless, the characters dynamics remain similar. love the hope that the story tries to capture against inequality faced by women and the poor.

Just finished recently. Claire and Bell’s story is so sweet. I loved the prison take on the GL.
