Fun to revisit this scenery-chewing favorite of my childhood and reimmerse myself in its twists and machinations.
CN: murder, kidnapping, period-typical racism, ableism (of the disabled people suck variety, not the disabled people are incompetent variety, which was honestly slightly refreshing), copious alcohol abuse portrayed as a moral failing
