What unexpected delight! This author's books looked inviting, and I chose this one for the (simple) chance to read both German and English - and perhaps have something to share with young readers I know who speak one or the other. What I discovered was a story with whimsical charm, and fun message about the wisdom of good choices. Illustrations are charming and this is a great resource both for reading aloud and for young learners to read on their own. I'm off to investigate more of Ruthz SB's books! Glad there are more.

Cute story. I love that it is in two languages. If my German didn't sound like I was sneezing, it's be really useful. Kids learn languages at a much faster rate than we do so they need to learn young. The story is cute and the artwork is darling as always. I'm definitely going to share this one with my niece.

Cute Book
This book was cute. I love the illustrations, it was engaging to my child. This is good for reading to a new reader. They will pick up some words but some may be 2nd or 3rd grade level.

Grandparents and young parents - a great little book for the little ones - teaches cjildren important lessons for life we should all be following while making the wee tots smile and learn to enjoy reading - one of many in the series. I recommend you explore them all.

Another sweet book by Ruthz. A must read for young children.
