Within the silent corners of existence, where shadows dance and light will whisper, the truth Nothing was Safe.
The world, a tapestry of uncertainty, wove its threads through moments of vulnerability and strength, reminding us that even within the most fortified of havens, change is inevitable.
Simo, abandoned and betrayed, withholds secrets that draw the facility intern like a moth to the flame. An obsession is born through not what he says, but what he refuses to. As his prison walls close in, through corruption and the ghosts of crimes both recent and buried, Nina finds herself walking a line she swore she would never cross.
But Simo?
He was never done. Not with this place. Not with the world. And, definitely not with her.Because some things, once taken, must be reclaimed.
Even if it means burning everything that comes between.
I was surprised when the author wrote this book followed by the others uploaded this year as I thought it would end on book 3. I was a bit skeptical since this book only followed Simo but I was so pleasantly surprised and the ending was delicious. You can see the book has gotten better since the first one with more fluent writing and the cover is amazing, Simo is super hot.
SPOILER: In the end, he gets her back again by force, and its just so hot when he carries her away back to the forest, I loved that bit so so much. cannot wait to read what comes next! So glad I found this author I am addicted
