Eighteen-year-old Callie is a High Priestess of an ancient sect of powerful witches who not only have dominion over the four elements, but life and death itself. These Spirit Witches were chosen by the Goddess to govern her creations and keep balance. Tragically, over two millennia ago, they were murdered and their existence removed from recorded history by rogue witches who coveted their power and status. Not wanting to end up like her ancestors, Callie is more interested in living an ordinary life, enjoying her senior year at Twin Cedar Pass High School with her five supernatural boyfriends and ride-or-die bestie, Mei. Too bad the Goddess has other plans for her-- tasking her with a mission to find the other high priestesses and help them come into their full power. If that wasn’t enough, unbeknownst to Callie, a threat from her past lurks in the shadows of her small town with their own agenda for her exceptional abilities.

While Callie grapples with her overwhelming quest and demanding future, the guys have their own trials to face. Connor runs himself ragged, balancing straining tensions between his pack and the visiting pack led by his estranged mother. Nolan, finally healed from the curse cast by his evil ex-girlfriend, is finding it harder than he remembers sliding back into his old way of life. Felix grows frustrated being the only human in their group and is willing to do whatever it takes to become a part of the supernatural community. Kaleb bristles under the yoke of a life prewritten for him when all he wants is to choose his own path. And now that Donovan is over eighteen, his future as a demon hunter could any day become his present, ripping him away from a life that he’s growing more reluctant to leave by each passing day.

In this enlightening and action packed reverse harem, follow Callie and her guys as they navigate the expectations of adulthood, futures that are destined to pull them apart, and coming face to face with the traumas of the past.

This book contains graphic violence, explicit sexual content including M/M, adult language, and deals with sensitive issues such as bullying, abuse, suicide, death, and PTSD. Reader discretion is advised.

Interested to see where they go from here

A lot of plot progression happened in this book, especially when you consider it’s half the length of the other books in the series. There wasn’t much time spent on any relationship this time around, which was a little disappointing. I also think Callie’s showdown with her dad was kind of…anticlimactic? Maybe I only feel that way because we didn’t see that event from her point of view and therefore didn’t experience her emotional toil? Not sure. Very proud of Kaleb for standing up for his own desires.
Overall, four stars. I’m personally hoping the next book is longer.

Hoping for more. .

I love this series. I have them all in digital and hard copy but this book just didn't do it for me. I will be hoping for more soon and maybe the next book will be better for me. 🤷‍♀️

I love this series but this book was a bit of a let down.

Callie’s showdown with her father felt so rushed and was over in 2 pages, I was really hoping for more drama and witchy badass.

I don’t really like where felix ‘James’ storyline is going, loved it when she brought him back to life, disliked the idea of him becoming a thrall - REALLY not keen on him becoming a wolf.

I’m also sad that there was hardly any romance in this book, and I was missing the flirty banter between Callie and the guys. This book didn’t really flow from the last one, like they usually do - I know it was shorter than the others but it was missing something that the other books had.

This was such a snoozefest. I’ve loved the series, but this was dragging out all the same things that had already been dragged out and just went nowhere. Book five on repeat. Connor is having problems as alpha with his mother still, and makes zero decisions. Felix is having trouble living as James still, and makes zero decisions. Nolan is having trouble drinking blood still after the spell that cursed him. Donovan is still worried about being called up to demon hunt. Kaleb is the only one who actually made any changes or progress towards literally anything, and that’s because he kissed Callie in front of the others and asked his parents for a different career path. This was literally the book. It was so stagnant and as there’s no relationship stuff happening there was just… nothing happening. There is a conflict, but it’s like a two page deal and done. Oh, and Callie grew some trees. Callie growing trees feels like a definitive moment, which will tell you exactly how much nothing went down.

I can't believe it was only a little over a year since the last book! I felt like I was waiting forever! I love this series. While this only my second 5 star out of the six, overall the series averages to a 4.67. (Oh but I didn't include the bonus book in that average.)

I love how a lot of things came together in this one. A lot of things resolved, but still some things that need closure.

I'm going to have to see if there is a way to directly contact the author. I found a minor consistency issue that I would like to report to her. (So minor that it doesn't affect the rating at all obviously.)

I didn't even realise when I finished the entire book. It went off so fast since I couldn't stop reading. I also think that this was better than the previous books, maybe because the group is now at a better place in terms of their relationships. So, whatever the problems they face they do it together. Also, Felix.... poor guy has to go through that again. There were a few scenes in this book that I did not see them coming, but not complaining though.

Very touching

This is a wonderful next installment of the bound Spirit universe. So much character development and romantic entanglement. Truths come to light and punishments a dealt. This is an amazing book my only complaint is that it wasn't longer. I could read about Callie and her guys forever.

great read

This is such a great series and I love the characters. There was loads of action in this book and also some sweet scenes, I just wish it was a bit longer, some of the scenes felt a bit short like they could have been padded out a bit more. Can’t wait to read the next book tho.

omg!

This series just keeps getting better and I can’t wait for the next one book to come out. Anxiously awaiting for it to see what is next for Callie, her guys and family.

Wish the book was longer, with the emotional ending as you continue to see how each character grows.

Really can’t wait for next book in series. :)

What a story! Callie and the guys really go thru the ringer in this one! This series just keeps getting better with each book. The relationships between Callie and her guys really deepen, showing how strong the bond is between all of them. Some hard questions finally got answered in this story! I can’t wait for the next one!!

Book 6

This is definitely worth the wait. I really don’t want to say a lot but if you are not reading this series then you should. H. A. Wills is bringing these characters to life with this one. This fight scene had my heart beating out of my chest! 5 stars

Twists, joys and tears

Well, that made me cry like a baby. I thought I couldn't love Callie and the guys more this made me prove wrong. It was full of surprises, sadness and new faces. I cannot wait for the next book of the series.

This was an intense and often heartbreaking instalment of the series as Callie and her guys deal with the events of the past and their impending futures.

This book let me down.

In less than 300 pages not much would happen - and yet, a lot happened. She finally killed her father, the goddess finally spoke to her, she finally had a chance to bond with her deceased mother, Gina and her mother were murdered by Callie’s father, Mischief showed his high fae form (and grandma will take full advantage of it, go Granny!!!), Kaleb finally started standing up for himself, and Felix almost died (it’s a shame he didn’t). Felix must be the author’s favourite character, because everything happens to him, and I HATE him. We almost didn’t get to see Donovan. The romance between Callie & Kaleb, or Callie & Donovan feels like it won’t last. Meanwhile, we have Felix being his usual boring self.

A lot happened, but everything was so shallow that it made me want to give up.
