I really liked this book from cover to cover. It was full of action from the first couple of pages to the end.
I think Yves is perfect for me. I tend to go for the more shy, brainy guys, and it sure didn't hurt that this one was devastatingly handsome and such a gentleman. He's romantic but not to the point where he's too sappy, and he's protective but not to the point where he's possessive.
I love Phoenix because she's your perfect damsel in distress. She's had a hard life, but she's a survivor. She's caring and selfless, but not in a depressing, gloomy kind of sacrificial way. She's a strong character, and despite her lack of book-smarts, she is witty and clever.
And I love the romance in this book. The concept of soulmates is really overdone, and at times, it's really a bore or annoying how writers accomplish this concept. In this case, it wasn't the case. I liked that Yves and Phee are soulmates, and they're attracted to each other right off. But Stirling gave time for the relationship to progress. A lot of times, our heroine would fight it because she's in denial or not ready or doesn't want to give up her independence. In this case, the obstacle was keeping hers safe and away from her corrupt and dangerous life before him. I don't know how to explain it, but somehow, Stirling managed to make the soulmates concept work for me.
I thought it was a cute, delightful read, and I would recommend it to anyone who's looking for just that.

Continua la búsqueda de las almas gemelas de los hermanos, esta vez es el turno de Yves, quien sin querer la encontrará en un viaje y en circunstancias poco comunes.
El mundo creado por el autor me parece bastante interesante, nos muestra y describe respecto a los Savant, sus poderes y su búsqueda para poder estar completos y no “desequilibrados”; es como que si no la encuentran se vuelven impulsivos y malvados, algo así.
Respecto a los personajes, la historia está desarrollada en torno a Yves, uno de los hermanos Benedict; y la protagonista es Phoenix o Phee, huérfana, que vive en una comunidad en donde la obligan a robar para poder subsistir. Y básicamente de esto se trata todo el libro.
Es un libro entretenido, adictivo (lo leí en menos de un día); no me reí tanto como en el anterior, pero no estuvo mal, igual hay varios diálogos bastante infantiles y absurdos; pero cumple el objetivo de entretener.
Igual leeré los siguiente, creo que son seis 😊

I'm such a sucker for this series. I read the whole book in just under 12 hours. All 264 pages in 12 hours - with breaks in between! This may not seem like such a surprise to other, faster readers but to me it was pretty shocking. I usually pace myself and read around 100 to 150 pages a day, but this book? I could not stop reading until I was done. Which was by 3 am in the morning.
I don't remember the first book, Finding Sky, all too well but I do remember loving it. But when I got this book, I thought I wouldn't like it because my taste in books have sort of changed. This series is more on the fun, less serious side of the paranormal. I mean, the story isn't all heavy and dark. I just find it sort of like a good book if you want to take a break from all the heavy reading.
Despite not remembering the full events of Finding Sky, it wasn't a huge issue in Stealing Phoenix since this is Yves and Phoenix's story. As I began reading and getting into the story, all the feelings I had from before came rushing back and I found myself LOVING this book. The whole Savant thing is seriously cool. And the situation with Phee (I love that nickname) being a thief with her power and the business with the Community was so exciting. It was very enjoyable. But my favourite part has got to be, hands down, the romance. Although I found the soulfinder thing a bit hard to believe, I admit it had me wishing it was real. The romance was just SO cute! I was totally envious of Phee and began to wish I had my own soulfinder somewhere out there *sigh* I liked Phee and Yves story a lot more than Sky and Zed. It's because Phee and Yves went through a lot more, they struggled more, and it made their love much more believable than if they just got together right away. Though I wasn't too happy about a certain part . Right now, Yves and Phee are probably my favourite couple from the series.
I loved Phee sooooo much! At first I didn't approve of her profession of stealing things, but I warmed up to her after learning the real reason. She was really tough on the outside, but vulnerable on the inside. She sort of reminded me of Cinderella - except she was no damsel in distress. She won't let a guy walk all over her. Yves was so SMEXAY!! I love him. I don't remember him much from Finding Sky, but I know I liked him. How could I not? He's pretty close to my ideal guy - funny, nerdy, a bookworm, romantic, slightly awkward (yes, a bit of awkwardness is totally cute) and a cook. I find any guy that can cook reeeaally sexy. I WANT YVES!! Zed, Sky, and the rest of the Benedict gang also made their appearances, of course, and I can't help but love this family. The only person I hated was the Seer. He can go burn in hell. I'm not even joking.
I cannot wait to read the next Benedict boy's story. The next book is called Seeking Crystal - I think it might be about Xav. He's hilarious. Too bad the book is coming out all the way in 2013. Oh well, I can wait.

Phoenix: Bugger off! He's mine! *sticks out tongue*
Me: Oh, come on! Can't you at least share?

Let me start this review by saying that I liked this book. No, it is not a literary masterpiece, but it doesn't pretend to be one either. What it is: a nice, fluffy, well-paced, just-exciting-enough YA novel, that you read through in a heartbeat. It combines romance, friendship and some action and suspense in a nice way (although I do have to add here that some of the scenes showing the family-affection felt slightly artificial to me), and although it never keeps you on the edge of your seat or has this I-cannot-put-down-this-book-until-I-finished-it quality, it is entertaining and exciting enough to keep you reading.
So why, you might ask, only two stars? To make sure you follow my story here, I propose you read the summary of this novel by Goodreads first and then let me tell you why only two stars: there is something fundamentally wrong with the description of Phoenix and Yves relationship. Like in “Finding Sky” we have a severely damaged heroine, who is more or less rescued by a handsome and heroic Benedict, who has a stable base and loving family to support him. But where Sky still had her own family to support her, and a trauma that played more in the past, which means she had time to recover and stabilize, Phoenix is living the nightmare right now, and has no-one to depend on. Now, this does not necessarily have to be a problem, but Stirling fails to work this out properly. The reader is informed that Phoenix has had to take care of herself most of her life and has serious trust issues, since she has never been able to trust anyone...and than Phoenix completely does not act like any of this is the case: within moments after meeting Yves, Phoenix seems to lie her fate completely in his hands (and in those of his family). Sure, she often thinks things like “Does he not understand how difficult it is for me to trust people?” (which I found a bit strange too btw, people with severe trust issues I would think don't usually say to themselves “Yikes, I have trust issues” but probably more something along the line of “What do you want from me? What games are you playing? Leave me alone!”), and “I should go”, and “They make all this decisions without asking me, who do these people think they are!”, but...
( and now there are some possible SPOILERS ahead)
All this cumulates not only in a slightly unbelievable heroine, but also in a classical damsel in distress storyline, were Yves is the only one who can save Phoenix from the clutches of the evil community. Although the story is written from Phoenix point of view, the real actor in this story is Yves, while Phoenix is reduced to the object, the person to be acted upon. Their relationship is completely inequal, with Yves being presented as Phoenix savior and the only person who can heal her wounds (the classic romantic ideal), making her very dependent on him. This is where “Finding Sky” does a better job, because it relies more on Sky and Zed working together, and Sky herself also has a much more active role.
The crookedness of Phoenix and Yves' relationship becomes painfully obvious in a sequence where they (and when I say they, I mean Yves, because as said ,Phoenix hardly acts) talk with the Seer (the leader of the community), and Yves keeps up pretences by behaving very misogynistic, and as if he calls all the shots in his relationship with Phoenix, while Phoenix plays the obedient wifey (by not speaking at all basically). This sequence is so disturbing, because this behaviour appears only to be somewhat of an exagaration of the actual dynamics of their relationship. Yes...my thoughts exactly.
Lastly, THE ENDING! (and yes SPOILERS ahead)
I want to close off this rather long review by ascertaining that eventhough I had some strong issues with characterisation and the representation of male-female relationships, I really did find it an entertaining read (oh the paradoxes of reading books). I also want to make clear that I do not necessarily think every book should be completely politically correct and have completely balanced gender roles (although I would look forward to the moment when balanced gender roles in literature would just be so completely normal and natural, that no-one would even have to talk about it). But I do think that this book stepped into the Twilight-trap (cause active boy, inactive girl...sounds familiar?), and since it is one of many books aimed for girls around 15 years old that does this, I think it would be refreshing to have a couple in a romance book that works together; where both parties are equal and active. I hope Stirlings next Benedict-novel will have more of this, since the whole soulfinder concept is about two people completing each other, making each other stronger when they are together. Now that would be romance!

Ωχ.. Πως έγινε τώρα αυτό!?!?!?!
Το Κλέβοντας την Φοίνιξ μπορώ να πω ότι ήταν πολύ καλύτερο....
Οι κεντρικοί χαρακτήρες ήταν πιο καλά δουλεμένοι, υπήρχε ένα πλάνο, μια οργάνωση στο μυαλό της Joss και αυτό φαινόντουσαν και στις σελίδες.
Δεν ξέρω πως έγινε αυτό .... αλλά μπράβο της... με έκανε να θέλω να διαβάσω και το 3ο βιβλίο της σειράς !!!!

It was cute and a fun and fast read. I guess if I had read this book 5 years ago I would have loved it. But now.... I am a little bit too old for this.

Όταν διάβασα το ψάχνοντας την Σκάι είχα υποσχεθεί στον εαυτό μου ότι δεν πρόκειται να συνεχίσω με τη συγκεκριμένη σειρά και να διαβάσω τα επόμενα.Τελικά ποτέ μην λες ποτέ, καθώς να που βρέθηκα με το επόμενο!
Η Φοίνιξ είναι ένα νεαρό κορίτσι, μέλος μιας συμμορίας κλεφτών οι οποίοι διαθέτουν υπερφυσικές ικανότητες με αρχηγό τον σκληρό και αδίστακτο Προφήτη.Η ζωή της Φοίνιξ θα ανατραπεί όταν προσπαθώντας να ληστέψει τον Ιβ Μπένετικτ θα ανακαλύψει ότι το μέλλον της είναι πολύ πιο διαφορετικό από αυτό που φανταζόταν καθώς οι δύο τους είναι αδερφές ψυχές και έχουν ένα πολύ ιδιαίτερο δεσμό.Πως όμως θα μπορέσει η Φοίνιξ να ξεφύγει από τα χέρια του Προφήτη ο οποίος θέλει να τη χρησιμοποιήσει στα μεγαλεπίβολα σχέδια του και πως η οικογένεια Μπένετικτ θα μπορέσεινα σώσει τον Ιβ και το πεπρωμένο του;
Οφείλω να ομολογήσω πως το δεύτερο βιβλίο της σειράς είναι αρκετά καλύτερο έναντι του πρώτου, χωρίς βέβαια αυτό να σημαίνει πως πρόκειται για κανένα αριστούργημα, μάλλον για ένα μέτριο paranormal μυθιστόρημα επηρεασμένο από τα υπόλοιπα βιβλία του είδους.
Το θέτικό στο συγκεκριμένο μυθιστόρημα είναι ότι αν μη τι άλλο οι δύο κεντρικοί ήρωες έχουν μεγαλύτερο ενδιαφέρον παρόλο που τρώμε στη μάπα ξανά την ανυπόφορη Σκάι και τον ηλίθιο Ζεντ.Η Φοίνιξ αποδεικνύεται ιδαίτερα δυναμική και γενναία ενώ ο Ιβ σε αντίθεση με τα πανηλίθια αδέρφια του είναι αρκετά πιο ευφυής και πιο προσεκτικός στις κινήσεις του.Φυσικά που να επιβιώσουν οι δύο τους ανάμεσα σε όλη αυτή τη χαζομάρα που τους περιβάλλει, ειλικρινά ευχόμουν ο Προφήτης να τους αφανίσει όλους μπας και γλυτώσουμε αλλά όχι θα χαλούσε το αναμενόμενο χαζοχαρούμενο χάπι εντ.
Η πλοκή και η εξέλιξη της ιστορίας δεν παρουσιάζουν εξίσσου ιδαίτερο ενδιαφέρον ααν και τουλάχιστον υπάρχει αρκετή περισσότερη δράση και αγωνία σε σχέση με το ρώτο βιβλίο. Η συυγραφέας βέβαια δεν αφήνει κλισέ για κλισέ που να μην έχουμε συναντήσει σε τέτοιου είδους μυθιστορήματα, με αποτέλεσμα όχι μόνο να καταντά αναμενόμενη η αναμενόμενη η κατάληξη των γεγονότων αλλά να την κάνει κιόλας να μοιάζει όσο το δυνατόν περισσότερο με γελοία σαπουνόπερα.

Η Φοίνιξ είναι ένα νεαρό κορίτσι, μέλος μιας συμμορίας κλεφτών οι οποίοι διαθέτουν υπερφυσικές ικανότητες με αρχηγό τον σκληρό και αδίστακτο Προφήτη.Η ζωή της Φοίνιξ θα ανατραπεί όταν προσπαθώντας να ληστέψει τον Ιβ Μπένετικτ θα ανακαλύψει ότι το μέλλον της είναι πολύ πιο διαφορετικό από αυτό που φανταζόταν καθώς οι δύο τους είναι αδερφές ψυχές και έχουν ένα πολύ ιδιαίτερο δεσμό.Πως όμως θα μπορέσει η Φοίνιξ να ξεφύγει από τα χέρια του Προφήτη ο οποίος θέλει να τη χρησιμοποιήσει στα μεγαλεπίβολα σχέδια του και πως η οικογένεια Μπένετικτ θα μπορέσεινα σώσει τον Ιβ και το πεπρωμένο του;
Οφείλω να ομολογήσω πως το δεύτερο βιβλίο της σειράς είναι αρκετά καλύτερο έναντι του πρώτου, χωρίς βέβαια αυτό να σημαίνει πως πρόκειται για κανένα αριστούργημα, μάλλον για ένα μέτριο paranormal μυθιστόρημα επηρεασμένο από τα υπόλοιπα βιβλία του είδους.
Το θέτικό στο συγκεκριμένο μυθιστόρημα είναι ότι αν μη τι άλλο οι δύο κεντρικοί ήρωες έχουν μεγαλύτερο ενδιαφέρον παρόλο που τρώμε στη μάπα ξανά την ανυπόφορη Σκάι και τον ηλίθιο Ζεντ.Η Φοίνιξ αποδεικνύεται ιδαίτερα δυναμική και γενναία ενώ ο Ιβ σε αντίθεση με τα πανηλίθια αδέρφια του είναι αρκετά πιο ευφυής και πιο προσεκτικός στις κινήσεις του.Φυσικά που να επιβιώσουν οι δύο τους ανάμεσα σε όλη αυτή τη χαζομάρα που τους περιβάλλει, ειλικρινά ευχόμουν ο Προφήτης να τους αφανίσει όλους μπας και γλυτώσουμε αλλά όχι θα χαλούσε το αναμενόμενο χαζοχαρούμενο χάπι εντ.
Η πλοκή και η εξέλιξη της ιστορίας δεν παρουσιάζουν εξίσσου ιδαίτερο ενδιαφέρον ααν και τουλάχιστον υπάρχει αρκετή περισσότερη δράση και αγωνία σε σχέση με το ρώτο βιβλίο. I cannot express how much I love this series. It's been torture waiting for the release of Stealing Phoenix. I did the craziest happy dance when I saw it in my mailbox.
This book was incredibly well written. The storyline was thrilling, exciting and I got absorbed into in from page one. The pages were constantly giving of waves of danger. I was so anxious the entire time, waiting for the axe to drop. Yves sure knows how to get in trouble, with Phoenix’s help of course.
Yves and Phoenix are so adorable together. They fit each other perfectly. I liked how their relationship gradually developed. They come from such different background it was only logical that there would be some issues in the beginning. They didn’t just gaze into each others eyes and everything was dandy. It happened slowly and over time.
What I loved the most was how different Yves was in each book. In Finding Sky he was just Zed’s calm and always collected brother. But in Stealing Phoenix we see a whole new side of him. The boy is fireworks. I love him.

RESEÑA COMPLETA EN LEE.SUEÑA.VUELA
¿Quién iba a decir que el más bueno y tierno de los Benedict iba a tener una historia tan poco edulcorada? (Mil veces menos edulcorada que la de Zed, su hermanito el chico malo).
Me encantó eso.
De la misma forma que me encantó conocer mejor a Yves y conocer a Phoenix, tengo algunos peros hacia ella, pero es un personaje roto y ese es el tipo que más me gusta.
En fin, reitero eso de que quisiera ser adoptada por los Benedict, pero ya.
Lo único que no me gustó ni de casualidad y porque soy mega fan, es una pequeña referencia a Wicked que deja en evidencia que una de tres: 1-la autora no leyó/terminó de entender el libro, 2- si leyó el libro pero no vio la obra o 3- No vio/terminó de entender la obra. Son cosas de fan desquiciado que las personas no desquiciadas probablemente no noten, pero las referencias no están bien. Aunque confieso que me encantó que Phoenix después hiciera referencia a una de las canciones xD (No good deed, por si hay curiosos :P). Soy re obse, es más larga mi queja hacia la pequeña referencia que mi opinión hacia el libro en sí jaja

Plot: Errr... yah. Hmmm.

Lalu... Review ini kurasa bukan review. Tapi... kumpulan uneg-uneg saat membaca novel ini!
*Gus sudah gatal menuliskannya sejak awal.
*Menahan diri tidak posting agar bisa lebih objektif.
*Tapi GAK! PERSETAN DENGAN OBJEKTIFITAS /gustenangwoi!
Ehem.
Novel ini mengingatkan saya dengan... light novel Jepang umumnya.
Awalnya, saya agak kaget dengan sudut pandang orang pertama （・∀・）.
Mungkin teenlit orang barat suka dengan sudut pandang orang pertama. Meski saya tidak terlalu nge-fans, tapi baiklah, saya terima-terima saja. Tapi, ini mulai menjadi agak aneh dengan sifat tokohnya yang bak terlalu sempurna (meski bukan hal baru dalam dunia tulis menulis) disusul dengan pendapat tokoh utamanya yang tidak konsisten.
Contoh paling mudah adalah penilaian sepihak tokoh utama mengenai tampang cowok yang terlalu sempurna dan ia membencinya karena tampang sempurna itu.
NAH LHO.
Iya, saya yakin dia pasti akan merubah pendapatnya perlahan... tapi tatkala di ratusan lembar selanjutnya si cewek malah mengatakan betapa ia merasa si cowok menakjubkan sejak pertama kali ia bertemu, dan ia menyukai wajahnya yang polos-tampan-bagaikan-pahatan-dewa-dewi-yunani-ew- itu, saya rasa... sudah cukup. Pertama bilang tidak suka tampang sempurnanya. Sekarang bilangnya suka. Cinta merubah segalanya, ataukah memang dari awal dia nggak konsisten?
Saya pilih opsi kedua. Jadi...
Tolong. Beton. Tokohnya. :).

Tapi masalahnya lagi; saya cuma membaca sedikiiiiiiit dari buku klasik orang barat. Jadi saya susah bisa masuk ke dalamnya. Saya bahkan tidak begitu peduli untuk mencari tahu lebih lanjut.
Awalnya saya mencari buku ini karena blurbnya yang simpel dan mengharapkan roman kenyal-atau-yang manis. Tapi di buku ini malah... roman yang memaksa dengan beratas-namakan "Pasangan jiwa", roman super kilat dan rasanya tempelan sekali, dan.... .... .... ya ampun, sebelum saya menulis yang lebih parah mengenai betapa saya jengkel dengan tokoh utamanya, lebih baik saya sudahi saja ini.

Phoenix belongs to a gang of Savant thieves called The Community where you cannot leave, however, when she steals from Yves she discovers that they are each other’s Soulfinder, but can she learn to trust someone or will Yves have to betray his entire family to be with Phoenix. Stealing Phoenix is just as good as Finding Sky with a girl with a hard upbringing and a guy who will do anything for her. If I have one complaint is that the romance was a bit too quick as they did not know each other that long. I would recommend this to people who like YA paranormal romance.

The book has less chlishees than the first book in the series which was good.
Unfortunately the rest was just disappointing.
The story is so simple that there aren't even any peaks or anything exciting happening. I didn't like the female protagonist at all.
Then the magic moment of finding the soulfinder again, supposed to be the big moment in their lifes but there are no sparks, no chemistry, nothing. I had the feeling that this bond exists just for the sake of it. I couldn't feel anything special about it. Btw that was the same in the first book as well.
Right now I am not very motivated to read the third book, but guess I will try it real soon to finish this series.

Sometimes you immerse yourself in a drama, so much that it's all you can think about when you eat and when you sleep. And all that time spent outside the tale has you aching to get back into the exhilarating experience of hanging onto every word from the endearing cast. Then, as you zoom through the episodes, eagerly waiting to see how it ends, you realize with a start that time flies and there's only one more episode left.
If you're nodding so far, I can only say, "Hi friend, you have to know how I feel." Because that was precisely how I felt when I was reaching the last chapter of this book. Part of me couldn't stop, the other part of me hated that the story was going to end.
Back to the drama allegory. Think back on the time when you finished chasing all forty episodes of that drama. You've smiled with the characters, cried when they cried and now you've finished watching the most memorable times of their lives. Aside from the fulfilling satisfaction at the perfect or not-so-perfect ending, there's an undeniable hollow in your heart. And all that fills your head is thoughts of "How can it end just like that?!"
Yeah, that's me and my unforgettable experience with Stealing Phoenix-- a masterpiece of a novel, one which stole my heart. And if I could choose, I would let it steal my heart again, at any of time of the day.
Because even though I've read a series of really good books lately, this was still the one I gripped onto with the whitest knuckles, brought along with me to the most places and finished reading with the goofiest smile on my face. Hands down, no competition.
It's spectacular, stunning, emotional.
When I halted that tiny second in front of the pile of messy books lying in the school canteen and picked it up, I had entertained many possibilities, that this was a mystery novel, an adventure story, or maybe even one with a tiny romance playing in the background. But never once in a million years would I have thought that this would be a great love story. Yet, it is.
Yves and Phoenix. So perfect for each other that it hurts. I loved the two of them-- how they met, how they hurt each other and most of all, how they loved each other.
Phoenix. The girl with so many secrets to hide and so many burdens on her shoulders. She's born in a pack of wolves-- cruel men who use fear to exploit and subdue. She is forced to use her savant (people with paranormal talents) powers to steal. A day without loot means a night of abuse and displeasure. To survive, clever Phoenix has never failed in a single mission... Until the day she meets Yves, the smart and handsome American boy who is her target, and she fails her most important mission by far.

Stealing Phoenix is the second book in the Finding Sky series by Joss Stirling, it's definitely one of the best YA series out there (in my humble opinion), it's fast paced, full of swoon worthy Benedict brothers and has the best creepy villains EVER. The Benedicts are a pretty special family, the parents and the seven brothers who's names start alphabetically with Trace and ends with Zed are savants and all have special powers. Stealing Phoenix centres on Yves the second youngest brother who is a bit of a genius and can control fire with his mind. Yves is in London attending an environmental science conference when Phoenix or Phee for short is sent to use her savant powers to freeze time and steal the contents of his backpack. Unlike most people Yves is able to extract himself from Phee's mind stopping powers and whilst chasing her they realise they can talk telepathically to each other and are really soul finders- soulmates that are meant to be together.
I loved the characters in Stealing Phoenix. Phee is a kind of Oliver Twist type character, a poor orphan sent out to steal items on demand by the evil Bill Sykes type character The Seer. Despite being a professional thief Phee is actually a really sweet vulnerable girl, born into a community of savants her mother died when she was young and she has never really known who her father was. She lives in constant fear, very alone and survives from day to day, my heart just went out to her. The community is controlled by The Seer who reminded me of one of those scary cult leaders who brainwashes their followers to give up all of their family ties and money so that he can live in the lap of luxury all corrupt and evil. The Seer is a powerful savant who can put specific thoughts into a person's brain to control them and have them acting against their will. He really is a fantastically written evil baddie right down to his white suit and slicked back black hair, double chins and puffy fingers adorned with rings. The community members are terrified of him, they firmly believe they have no choice but to continue living in the squalor conditions stealing on demand for him and know at any time if they fail him he could use his mind control powers on them and have them digging their own grave in Epping Forrest. Creepy stuff indeed.
Once Yves realises Phee is his soul finder and begins to understand the terrible life she has been forced to live his sole aim is, with the help of his family, to get Phee safely away from The Seer. Action packed from start to finish the pace was fast and exciting with really sweet little romantic moments for Yves and Phee as they start to realise that being a soul finder means they actually complement each other. I adored the London setting, it made Stealing Phoenix seems really up to date to me and I loved the added bonus of little updates with Zed and Sky and with a few Xav scenes which hint that his book will be next (well it makes sense we've had Zed, Yves so I just guessed that Xav would be next- see I can do the alphabet in reverse!). Overall, it has a bit of everything- action, romance and creepy creepy baddies I devoured Stealing Phoenix in an afternoon sitting.

Great fantasy book. I ❤the soulfinders series. It is so exciting and has some romance too . Joss Stirling is one of my favorite authors.

Why isnt there a 10 star button!
THIS IS THE BEST BOOK I HAVE PROBABLY READ ALL YEAR!!!
If you thought Finding Sky was good!
Well, this was AMAZING!
I love Phoenix, nickname Phee, 's character!
The life she has to endure, the lies, she doesnt know whats the truth. Since her mother died when she was only 9, Phee learned to trust noone, incase she or someone else gets hurt. Her Mother taught her about Soulmate, but when she died, she thought it was another lie her Mother told her, but only because The Seer, who claims to be Phee's father tells her.
We later find out that everything her Mother was true! EVERYTHING! ;)
Yve's is just Phees target, nothing more, but she is shocked when he almost reists her power. She has the power to freeze peoples minds for several seconds, (Making her the ultimate thief) and manages to set the iPhone and iPad she stole from him on fire. She knows he is different but can not tell anybidy for fear she will be killed because she may have compromised them. The Seer eventually finds out, as he finds everything out, he finds out they are soulmates and plans to use that againest them to get what he wanted. The reason why he specifically choose Yve's iPhone and iPad to be stolen. The Savant Net. He is trying to destroy it, along with other men, such as Mr New York, Beijing, Sydney. All places, we never find out their real names.
I was so glad that they didnt forget Sky and Zed from Finding Sky they even explain what happened between the times Finding Sky finished and Stealing Phoenix began. I love the relationship between Sky and Phee, they are both english! Thats the reason the boys think they are so close. I think its because they both were in the dark in some way. Sky didnt know about Savants or soulmates, wheras Phee was taught not to belive Soulmates were real and that all Savants used their powers for evil, none were good.
I love how Stealing Phoenix ends! Its perfect!
I cant wait for the next book Seeing Crystal which doesnt come out till 2013! D:
Finding Sky set the bar quite high, I didnt think that Stealing Phoenix could be better! I was soooooooooooooooooooooooooo wrong! In fact, it set the bar even higher for Seeing Crystal. Seeing Crystal has alot to live up to! But im sure that Joss Stiring will do it!

Sky habia sido un libro que me dejo sin palabras, literalmente me encanto. Pero Phoenix fue un libro que me enamoro completamente.
Phee es una chica increible con una vida muy complicada. Me senti muy identificada con ella y su personalidad, su manera de ser, adore todo en ella -excepto cuando huia - pero es totalmente genial.
Ame de este libro que pudimos conocer mucho mas a Yves y que es mucho mas de lo que aparenta. Ame la manera en que se conocieron y comenzaron a hablar, porque fue muy gracioso su primer dialogo.
Para todo el mundo Yves puede ser el chico mas "timido", "que no tiene mucha experiencia con las chicas" y todo lo que quieran, pero me gusto muchisimo mas ver lo arriesgado y dulce que puede ser Yves por Phee, que ver al malote de Zed todo el dia tratando de proteger a Sky.
Yves tambien protege mucho a Phoenix, pero era tan dulce y él simplemente arriesgaba TODO por ella, de una manera - para mi - totalmente diferente a Zed, asi lo senti yo y es lo que mas me gusto.
Yves es el tipo de que chico que a mi me encantaria conocer y hay algo en este libro que me hizo amar cada pagina y palabra que contenia. Imaginen que lei el libro en un dia, no podia bajar el libro y dejar a Phee e Yves ahi sin saber que pasaba con ellos.
Me enamore de su historia de amor y me encanto que todo sucediera en Londres, fue una historia hermosa y la recomiendo muchisimo.

ME ENAMORÉ. De la historia y sobre todo de Yves.
Yves es literalmente mi tipo de chico perfecto: inteligente, simpático, maduro, dulce pero no empalagoso, atento, caballero y protector pero no al punto de ser posesivo. Phoenix me cayó re bien; es fuerte, inteligente y no es ninguna damisela en peligro, aunque sea un personaje roto. Quizás por eso me caiga tan bien, los personajes rotos suelen gustarme. Y ni hablar de la pareja Yves-Phoenix ayyyy son tan lindos juntos los amo los amo los amo.
Los demás personajes fueron geniales porque es la familia Benedict obvio y hasta los antagonistas me gustaron como estaban estructurados.
La narración estuvo PERFECTA al igual que en Sky, y el ritmo en que todo transcurría también. Es un libro muy activo en dónde todo el tiempo ocurren sucesos importantes y eso me encanta. También, los libros de "Finding Love" demuestran que no hacen falta miles de escenas de sexo para que el romance sea creíble, estos libros son re inocentes en ese sentido y el amor es real igual.
Joss Stirling gracias por tanto ahre, RECOMIENDO MUCHÍSIMO ESTOS LIBROS.

Llevaba años con este libro en pendiente y si no tenía la insistencia de Juli para leerlo, debo admitir que no lo iba a tocar.
Recordé porque no me gustó Sky, creo que tenía problemas con sus personajes principales.
Aunque en Phoenix no lo sufrí tanto y en algún momento me interesó la historia, siento que su prota hacia todo lo posible para despertar mi malhumor, entiendo todas las cosas malas por las que pasó, pero en algunos momentos se merecía unos buenos golpes para que dejara de actuar tan mal. Me irritó bastante.
Del otro lado tenemos a su prota masculino el cual me cayó tan tan bien. Ese chico es demasiado tierno, dulce y sobre todo un nerd total!! Una combinación que me mantuvo con sonrisa tonta cada vez que abría la boca.
Que decir del resto de la familia. Hay un par de hermanos más que me encantaría seguir sus historias y de verdad espero que mejoren.
Estos libros se destacan por demasiados momentos románticos y muy poca acción. Si están dispuestos a llenarse de azúcar. Es una lectura para ustedes.
