As a younger, married, Christian man, I seem to be seeking advice, wisdom, and books that center around growth for my spouse and I in our collective faith walk. However, I have found myself at times lackluster and struggling in finding time and structure for consistent, strong reflection and recentering. This inconsistency of personal faith intimacy and/or intentionality may lead to difficulty in leading others. Well, did this book have some answers for someone like me! I’m very grateful for the author’s introduction of the 5 R’s framework into my life, and I’m very much looking forward to implementing them into my personal devotional life.

For anyone looking to find a helpful and tangible framework (also, a relatively short read with frequent comedic relief) for personal reflection in their walks with God, this book is for you!

I think we all experience meh feelings/moments in our faith lives and this book gets at the core of these attitudes and the reasons behind that. The encouragement of the Gospel shines so beautifully throughout the book, you can't help but smile at God's awesome love for you. This book is super practical as it lists practice sessions and visual examples for your journal at the end of each chapter. I was grateful for straightforward ways to implement in my personal devitons right away!🙏🏽
