Incest and more incest... yet somehow I gave this volume 4 stars. Really interesting stuff with the split devilman personalies and their possesed anti-hero humans. Still feels a bit like a hentai webcomic but we'll roll with it.
Rating Update 3/30/2019 - 4 to 3 stars. The first arc with the school boy who is a beast was kind of boring. I greatly enjoyed the second arc with Jun's rival, and the backstory for both Jun and the rival.
Rating Update 4/6/19- 3 stars to 2 stars. That first arc really killed it. The second arc takes a while to heat up but I guess that's normal for the buildup. I'm just not sold on saying that I liked the volume. It's alright and good in some parts, but mostly alright.
Rating Update 4/7/19- 2 stars to 3 stars. I feel like the 2 star rating is too low for some great parts in the second half of the volume, which divulge Jun's background. The kiss between Jun and Asuka also lift the first half a bit out of a full 2 star rating.
Rating Update 4/9/19- 3 stars to 2 stars. From the previous rating update, I said that I had enjoyed Jun and Asuka's kiss but that would be now, after having finished the series. I did not feel the same while originally reading it. So the first story definitely scores 2 stars and the second half was alright, with flashes of a 3 star rating. It is not enough to lift the book to a 3 star rating though.
August 25, 2019 Update With the adoption of my new rating system, a two star rating is befitting. The original review and updates conform to the new rating system. The main reason behind remaining with the two star rating is explained in the April 9, 2019, rating update. Essentially the two star-rated content outweighs the three star-rated content.
September 18, 2019 Update It should also be mentioned that the two star-rated content takes up the vast majority of this volume, and is unnecessary at times for claiming to buildup to the three star-rated sections.
