About the author

Reading and writing are my passions. I was extremely creative as a child, inventing my own worlds and languages with my very best friend. When I found books that could hold my interest I devoured them in a day and craved more. I've always been partial to fantasy or the paranormal but I love books that have some elements of humor and romance. You can't be too serious. Royal Affliction came from a dark time in my life when I needed an escape, and I created my own. I found that I what I had created was something my friends and family loved but I didn't quite have the writing skills at the time to put it on the market. I took classes and read books in my effort to make this book something I could be proud of. I worked hard to learn just what I needed to mold my work into something others would love. This series, created from my own darkness, has blossomed beautifully since that first draft seven years ago. I am still attending college. I achieved my Bachelor's degree in psychology with magna cum loude honors in June of 2015 and I am now working towards my Master's in mental health counseling degree for graduation in June of 2017.
