Cheree Alsop is an award-winning, best-selling author and the mother of a beautiful, talented daughter and amazing twin sons who fill every day with joy and laughter. She is married to her best friend, Michael, the light of her life and her soulmate who shares her dreams and inspires her by reading the first drafts of each book. Cheree is a fulltime author and mother, which is much more fun than work! She enjoys reading, riding her motorcycle on warm nights, and playing with her twins while planning her next book. She is also a bass player for their rock band, Alien Landslide.
Cheree and Michael live in Utah where they rock out, enjoy the outdoors, plan great adventures, and never stop dreaming.
I know these book are listed for young adults, but I am 56 years old and love them. I guess I'm just young at heart. Cheree Alsop is a great author and so far every one of her books have been amazing. I can't wait to go on to book 6.
Alex a Vigilante? Alex still reeling from the death of Kalia can't face the academy right now, so he goes to Greyton to hang out with his human friends. While he's there he hears about gangs kidnapping girl. Working alone and with the Greyton police Alex is determined to get all these girls back and to help clean up the city of Greyton. He misses Siale but this is something he feels he needs to do. That is until someone he trusts betrays him. Another great read from this series! We are introduces to the people of Greyton. Even though it's still illegal to be a werewolf, Alex starts to bring a new light to the myths and legends and is building trust with humans. The story is going in a positive direction and I love the positive things the story is leading to.
Alex struggles to deal with all the pain of trying to make a change for the better for werewolves and humans. But some of each are animals.
He tries to make things better and it seems like progress is made but then it turns to threats and pain again. The General is gone, but the prejudice and attitudes still remain, provoked by the General's son and other extremists.
Saving kidnapped kids and helping the police improves things and hope builds as Prom nears, but there are still protests from people who cannot change their minds or their actions. But as the kids grow up faster then some parents, the challenges and surprises grow, too. Who do you trust? Try Book 6: Lost.
As per usual, I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Alex is full of regret regarding Kalia's death and has no idea what to do with himself. Boris wants to kill him for not saving his sister and Torin wants to kill him as he was in love with Kalia. Alex took to going to the city to rescue girls who had been taken by gangs. Unfortunately this made him easy for Drogan to find. He wanted revenge for his father's death. Alex is not easy to both capture and keep. More and more he has been morphing out into the super werewolf. Would this keep his friends and loved ones safe? Only time would tell.
Lost, Book 5 of Alsop’s Werewolf Academy series is another quick and exciting read especially for teens and young adults.
After the loss of a close friend, Alex finds himself emotionally lost. He channels his abilities and need for inner peace into helping the citizens of Greyton. He earns the nickname The Demon and the thanks of the humans who have been living in fear of the gangs that have overrun their city for too long.
I look forward to continuing to read the remaining books in this series and recommend it to anyone who prefers their paranormal stories clean and suspenseful.
I have enjoyed the series very much. Though I have to say this was the slowest one so far. It might be because it seemed to repeat background information from earlier books too much. I actually skimmed when I came to those parts and I must have done it at least six times. I also came across more editing errors in this book. The first two in the series only had two or three each. Book editing should improve progressively not get worse. Okay, though said, because it's still a great series and I'm moving on to read the next!
Alex is devastated by Kalia's death. He feels responsible and is reluctant to return to The Academy. Instead, he decides to fight crime in Greyton. Young girls are being kidnapped and people are afraid to be out at night . He has found his purpose and is finally ready to return to school. Cheree does a good job with her characters and the plot is always tight. The end is a shocker. I'm ready for the next book.

Alex had been working hard to make things safer for his human friends in the city. It is starting to really pay off. Then things go sideways once again. I'm so excited to read the next book in this series.
Another great story in this series although Alex is only 17 he acts very much like an adult he has seen so much hurt and sorrow in his short life. I recommend this book and am hoping for good news in the next book I’m keeping my fingers crossed
When the General orders Kalia's murder, Alex looses it. He leaves the Academy to come to terms with his grief and ends up savings a city from gangs. But can he save them from his enemy Drogan?
This story just keeps getting better. Huge turning points were made in this part but did you really have to end it with a cliffhanger. Thankfully the next book is already out so I will read it right after I finish leaving this review.
All the fun and excitement. The loss was profound and really was something that hits differently for each. Looking forward to the next book in the series.
Lost is the fifth book in the Werewolf Academy series and, as the title says, Alex is lost. Kalia is dead. He feels responsible. Boris wants to kill him. Torin wants to kill him. With all that, Alex can't face the Academy, so when a friend comes to him for help, he is more than happy to disappear to Greyton for a while. He couldn't help Kalia, but he is able to help some of the kidnapped women and girls.
Oh, the guilt in this book. It is quite simply dripping in it. Alex becomes the Demon of Greyton, but can't defeat his guilt over Kalia, or over leaving Siale behind. He is quite self-involved in this book, but I don't think it would be right any other way. He is still a young adult after all, in situations no one should be in, and trying to deal with it any way he can. Just when things look like they're back on track, Alex is betrayed.
Another gripping, exciting, fantastic instalment in this series. It really does just get better and better. I love how different characters are growing and changing as the books progress. It doesn't just remain about Alex, although he is the main character. Every book is emotional in different ways and I love that I never know what's coming next.
Do I recommend it? Erm, YES!

Wow! I've loved this series so far, but this book definitely took it to a new level! I loved that the author really dug into Alex's mindset at the beginning of the book, feeling a bit lost over everything that had happened at the end of book four (which I won't spoil). I liked that his reaction was to need to fight something, it really felt like the appropriate response from a werewolf when it was injured, even if the injury was emotional, not physical. And did he fight! Impressive dynamics from all involved, whether it was Alex taking too-big risks out of his emotional pain or the cops trying to deal with a werewolf vigilante and all the contradictory impulses of the humans reactions to him. This was a great addition to the series, and I'd definitely recommend it!
I received a free beta-reader copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I'm waaaaay too old to be reading these books (I'm 50). Soo not the target audience...but, I love them. They're well written and fun. I enjoy the characters and the story lines. Good job Ms. Alsop.
Incredible!! I can't stop reading this series, it had me hook line and sinker. The characters, the raw emotion and the storyline just makes for a perfect combination.
