I have a special reason for choosing this book. Who doesn't overthink? Some do it more, some less. And I am no exception. To be honest, I might be an expert in overthinking everything. But I'm tired of this. I doubt every decision in life, worry too much. And this book promises to solve the problem. Dr. Siddharth Sen explains the problem beautifully, describing how our minds are influenced by words. He said, "Your life improves the moment you stop thinking against yourself." This has deeply stuck in my mind.

What I find most valuable is that it's not just about stopping thinking, but about ways to live well in this life. It discusses 7 secrets that will help make the flow of my life clearer. ‘If God is everywhere, why does He need milk in a bowl ? Why can’t He drink directly from the cow ?’

Well ! that’s sounds logical right. The book has answered many such questions which often lingers in our mind be it in a conscious or subconscious way . Despite having logic and science there are things that can’t be explained it can only be felt . The fight between the mind and heart often drains the person . Its easy to get anxiety or stress over an unknown situation but to calm our mind and to address the issues directly needs a method ; this book will exactly offer that key and how to use it when most needed.

The language that the author uses is calm and relaxing. The writing is in slow-paced manner giving clarity to its audience.

It’s a short read and can be finished within an hour or so. Upon finishing I bet you it will clear all your foggy thoughts that you’ve been holding long.

I just finished this book and it felt like such a gentle reminder, something I honestly needed right now. Being someone who overthinks almost everything, I could see myself in so many of the situations described. The book walks you through seven straightforward ways to handle overthinking, and what I appreciated most is how practical they are. Nothing feels complicated or out of reach. The language is simple, clear and very easy to connect with, which made reading it smooth and comforting. I especially enjoyed the small exercises...they’re simple but surprisingly effective in calming the mind. I also liked how the author mixes everyday wisdom with real life practices which makes the lessons easy to hold onto. This is the kind of book you’d want to keep nearby, especially on days when your thoughts start spinning too fast. A warm and grounding read that I’m genuinely glad I picked up.

This is a beautiful quote I interacted reading the book, and the quote wants us to not be so logical everytime and question everything, be it a simple feeling or an expression of joy, they needs to be loved.
The milk story of Vivekanand is which stayed in my mind and I learnt the value of trust from this.

Don't Overthink the 7 Secrets is a great book which teaches us to progress ahead in life with its great tips on overcoming overthinking.

As the name itself suggests, the author has narrated seven remarkable strategies in which he overcomes over thinking and also helps others in doing the same.

I have come across some new forms of daily meditative practices like the 5 minute Body Breath Belief Reset and SENSE framework which have been of great help to me.

With examples surrounding his own life and that of famous personalities, the author has shown how listening to our heart and never ignoring the signs our body might be showing in accordance with the thoughts of the mind can go a long way in helping us overcome overthinking.

I would first like to say that the cover got me into reading this book. When I opened the book, I was greeted by such nice quotes. I read the introduction and one thing immediately crossed my mind and that is "wow this is so relatable". I kid you not, I completely read the book in just three hours and ejoyed every second of it. It was so impactful. I definitely suggest you read this book once.
