Chronicles of Sagitta: Act I -The Last Free World

Rate this book
In a galaxy subjugated by the relentless order of the Arkhêon Hegemony, entire worlds are erased with silent, terrifying efficiency. To the Hegemony, diversity is a flaw and freedom is an anomaly to be corrected. The resistance, led by the Albion Freehold, stands on the brink of annihilation—fighting a war it cannot win.

Ethan Wyrmsbane was no soldier. He was a merchant pilot from Thalyssia, a paradise world whose beauty was the very music of the universe. When the Hegemony’s fleets turned his home into dust and silence in a single instant, he became something he never wished to be—the sole survivor.

Forced to seek refuge among the desperate warriors of Fortress Draconis, Ethan discovers that the greatest tragedy of his life may be the galaxy’s only hope. An ancient prophecy of his people speaks of the Sagitta—a legendary weapons system composed of a sentient starship and a bow of unknown metal. But its true power does not come from technology—it comes from memory and pain, a force that can only be awakened by one who carries the wound of a lost world.

Now, bound to a power that drains his very life force with each use, Ethan must embark on a desperate pilgrimage across the stars. At his a stoic warrior who is his shield, and a lethal huntress seeking vengeance of her own. Together, they are hunted by an all-powerful empire and by a biomechanical monstrosity designed to erase Ethan from existence.

Chronicles of Act I - The Last World is the first book in an epic sci-fi trilogy that blends breathtaking military action with a profound exploration of grief, sacrifice, and the true meaning of strength. It is a journey about how the deepest wound can become the sharpest weapon—and how the memory of a single world can be enough to challenge an entire galaxy. Fans of the vast scope of Dune, the scale of Mass Effect, and the mythic journey of Star Wars will be captivated by the beginning of Ethan Wyrmsbane’s saga—the last echo of a dead world, and the arrow aimed at the heart of an empire.
