An interesting glimpse into a world after the destruction of humanity and life on Earth as we've come to know it. A man who never found a truer love than his wife who died too young. We met them as they are reunited.
It reads as sentimental and hopeful. An interesting beginning to new world building.
I found that, knowing S.C. Mitchell is a man, I was curious how he would handle writing a lovemaking scene. You will not be disappointed.
I would like to read more about Jim and Heather and their experiences, including their goal of repopulating the planet. This story was an enjoyable romantic escape fantasy
