Their Arrangement

Rate this book
She walks into our temple like she doesn't know she's already been claimed.

Talks like she’s still allowed to have a choice.

But I see through all of it.

The arrangement was Her body for our silence. Her obedience for our protection. But nothing about the way she kneels feels simple anymore.

The borrowed clothes. The desperate eyes. The scent she wears like a ghost she never stopped loving.

Camille’s scent.

My sister’s shadow.

Cloe was the girl who left—
And came back with secrets in her pockets and her knees ready to hit the floor.

My brothers watch from the shadows. Waiting. Hungry. Patient as predators who've already tasted blood.

She thinks I won’t touch her.

She thinks I don’t remember the way her mouth used to tremble when she looked at me.

But I do.

And now?

I want her to tremble again.

I want her on her knees, throat bare, pulse visible, learning what submission tastes like when four men decide to keep you…

…and if she’s come to betray us, I want to break her beautifully while she begs to stay.

THEIR ARRANGEMENT is a dark, dangerous, and addictive enemies-to-lovers mafia romance filled with brutal billionaires, forbidden obsession, and one girl who doesn't know if she's the prey—or the prize. Welcome to the Lawlor Empire. Bend the knee… or be broken.

I was really looking forward to this book because A.K. Rose’s Bloodties series is one of my favorites. Her writing in that series hooked me completely, and it made her one of my go-to authors.

Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to finish Their Arrangement. The writing style here feels very different from her earlier work, and while some readers may enjoy this change, it just didn’t work for me. The shift pulled me out of the story, and I couldn’t connect with the characters the way I had in her previous books.

I’m sad to say this, because I truly admire the talent she showed in Bloodties. While this new direction isn’t for me, I know others may appreciate the style change more. I’ll always be grateful for the enjoyment her earlier books gave me, even if I won’t be continuing with this one.

ARC review: I'm so excited for this series! I absolutely loved the Blood Ties series, and the Diamond Ties series is off to a great start with 'Their Arrangement'.

This book introduces us to Cloe, who is returning home to come work for the four brothers of her best friend Camille, who died two years ago... I think. Side note: that's my only real frustration with the book so far is that I'm a little confused with the timeline? or maybe I'm just not reading it clearly? From how I understood it, Camille was 26 at the time of her death and Cloe was 19 (and there's no hint to how old the brothers are) - just seemed like an odd age gap for two women to be such insanely good best friends, but maybe not.

We get information in bits and pieces without really revealing the whole truth, but it seems as if Cloe is being blackmailed by Barron's (one of the brothers) ex-wife to steal information from their diamond business. Cloe seems to have some history with some of the brothers and is torn on her survival versus her loyalty to the brothers and her old friendship with Camille.

The writing style is really unique in this book - it's more choppy and direct thoughts from the characters, versus drawn out plots and things actually happening. I absolutely loved getting more of a feel of their thoughts and feelings, however... it's definitely frustrating at times. It feels like you're missing things that are happening. For example - Wolfe is in the parking garage talking to Mason, and then the next line he's suddenly talking to Barron, who's inside the building in a conference room. Or Cloe is in her apartment, then she's suddenly in Wolfe's bedroom and wraps up a book and puts it in his bedroom drawer, then suddenly she's back in her apartment again in the next chapter. And then at the end she's getting the book back out of the safe at the office again, and not Wolfe's drawer. It's hard to tell if it's intentional or something that was missed, which drops it a star for me.

Overall though it's a solid start to the series. I was SO excited for the cameo from London!! and I can't wait to see how the rest of the Lawlor brothers' story plays out. 😍

Not sure where to start.
I have read Blood Ties and it was so good!
This new series is so differently written. Like a psychological dark movie where you are reading more through the lines in the minds of the characters.
A bit risky for those who have read Blood Ties, since you don’t know how the appeal will be with this new direction.
Cloe, she is so broken. Not knowing how to come out of the shadows of the past. Felt sad for her.
The brothers, dark, broody, numb, dangerous. It is like they all ceased to exist after their sister was taken from their lives. (Makes me wonder if it was someone close to them)
🌶️ is super slow burn, lots of yearning, the few scenes that come up was ok. Nothing like Blood Ties!

My overall thoughts. If you are expecting a style like BT, this isn’t it. This first book is psychological, suspense, expect that cliffhanger though we are used to see.
I found a few indescripancies which their proofreader might have missed which made me turn the pages back a few times. Loved the fact that London pops up!! Keeping it intertwined in the BT somehow.
Would love to read the final book when it releases so i can update on a later date.
For now 3/5⭐️ for me

Oh my fucking god - best reads 2025 hands down

This book isn’t a romance. It’s a reckoning.

What starts as a corporate punishment turns into the slowest, sharpest psychological seduction I have ever read. A story that keeps you at the edge of your seat and grabs you by your throat.
Cloe walks into a silent warzone run by four men—each of whom could kill you with a glance or resurrect you with a single whispered command.

They don’t touch.
They don’t speak.
But they own.

This isn’t your usual mafia romance. This is precision BDSM psychology, domination through silence, and obsession so restrained it becomes spiritual.
Every look is a chain. Every word is a command. Every chapter is an edge you’re about to fall over.

And Cloe? She’s not some shy girl learning her power.
She is already broken—already bleeding—and watching her be seen by these men is like watching a feral hymn rise from her wounds.

AK Rose crafted something devastatingly intelligent, violently hot, and emotionally brutal.
And if you think you’re ready—you’re not.
You’ll kneel before you even realize it.
You’ll hum before you understand what the sound means.
And when they finally talk?

You’re his. Theirs. Owned.

🔥 Tropes & Vibes:
• ✖️ Reverse Harem, but make it ruthless
• ✖️ BDSM, Dom/Sub, obedience kink, eye contact restriction
• ✖️ Silence as weapon
• ✖️ Mindfuck first, sex later (and it’s worth it)
• ✖️ Mafia x Corp Power Dynamics
• ✖️ Broken FMC, but not weak
• ✖️ No safe word, but not non-consensual — she wanted the leash

3.5 ✨

Thank you for the ARC read!

I had mixed feelings about this book! On one hand, A.K. Rose delivers exactly what you’d expect from a dark mafia romance tension, obsession and plenty of heat. The premise of Cloe returning to the Lawlor Empire with secrets, only to fall back under their control through “the arrangement,” is addictive and full of potential. I liked the atmosphere, the sense of danger and the emotional desire of loyalty and betrayal.

That being said, some parts felt a little repetitive and I struggled to fully connect with the characters. The dynamic between Cloe and the brothers was interesting but at times confusing? I felt the writing sometimes made me feel like it was hard to connect. I still really enjoyed the read and am intrigued to see how the second book plays out 🫶🏽

If you enjoy dark, intense, morally grey romances with high stakes drama, this could still be right up your alley!

Did I devour this book?? Yes, yes I did. This book is everything you expect out of an Atlas Rose book. It’s dark, it’s possessive, and all the things you want out of a dark romance. It’s the start of a new series and sooo sooooo sooo good.
I can’t wait til the book itself is released!

Just a side note.. while I super loved this book, I was really really confused in a lot of areas. I felt like I was missing chapters, scene breaks, something indicating that it was a memory/imagination, and some of the back story. Maybe this is a spin off of another series that I didn’t read? It is probably definitely a me issue.

I will definitely reread the book when it’s out!

I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of this book.
It was a really good book as it kept me guessing what was going to happen if the guys would find out what Cloe was doing and what would happen.
Although I did get lost a bit while reading it as it jumped around a bit, and it seemed I was missing bits and pieces.
I will recommend this to anyone who wants something a bit different, and that doesn't give you all the answers and keeps you on your toes. I can't wait to continue reading their story.

♦️THEIR ARRANGEMENT♦️
By: A.K. Rose

4/5 Star Review
5/5 Spiciness Level

FAVORITE QUOTE:
“Because if I did, I’d grab her. Drag her into my office. Press her against the glass and make her say my name loud enough that Barron would f***ing hear it.”

BRIEF RUNDOWN:
This story is about a girl who has nothing, pretty much sitting at rock bottom. She decides to return to her late best friend’s very rich and powerful brothers and ask for a job, knowing they must hate her for walking out of their sister’s funeral and not coming back. They see her as some “thing” to break and toy with. There is some suspense in the background, some blackmailing and stalking by an ex boyfriend. Some of it is rather suspenseful, doesn’t make sense yet and I assume it will be explained better in the next book.

GENRE, POV , TROPES, PAGE COUNT:
Their Arrangement is book 1 of her new Diamond Ties series and is a dark mafia contemporary romance. It is written in the first-person. The POV changes between the main characters by chapter. Tropes include  reverse harem, dom/sub, broken FMC, there is some psychological BDSM stuff going on with a lot of just silence and no touching, high angst, high restraint, obsessions and ownership. It is approximately 330 pages long. Ends on a cliffhanger!

FMC:
Cloe Woods is the FMC. At the beginning of the book, she is a rather broken person. She’s broken in spirit, confidence and hope. She is also grieving the loss of her best friend, Camille. She is completely broke, hungry and haggard. After making the last resort choice to walk into the Lawlor Diamond tower at the beginning of the book, she leaves her dignity at the door and as the book progresses she slowly begins to straighten her spine and begins regaining her inner power. Does it matter that the power comes from her interactions with the three men she came to see? She wants to be used and owned completely.

MMC:
The Lawlor Brothers. Barron (the leader of the four), Royal (the cheeky, smirky one), Loyal (the quiet one), and Wolfe (the intense, all-consuming one) Lawlor are the MMC’s. These guys are powerful, rich, sexy and handsome in a way that is almost inhuman. They see Cloe as someone to own and break, use as a doll and a plaything. They exercise extreme restraint when it comes to her, not just giving in to their attraction and desire for her as they seemingly want to every second after she walks back into their life. They use psychology as a BDSM weapon. They use silence, no touching, and simple demands to groom her to be how they want her to be.

STORYLINE/PLOT:
After the death of Camille Rose Lawlor, sister to the Lawlor brothers and best friend to Cloe, Cloe left the funeral early and walked away from everyone and everything. This caused the Lawlor brothers to feel betrayed and discarded. Cloe did not come from money nor did she have any. Camille had taken her under her wing, so to speak, and brought her into their world. She would spend money on Cloe often, buying food or dresses in a way to not make Cloe feel “less than.” They were truly the best of friends. When Cloe was sick with the flu one night when they were supposed to go out, Cloe tried to talk Camille into staying home with her. She went out anyway and ended up attacked, stabbed and left to die. Cloe has some serious guilt, she completely blames herself for not being there for Camille. The Lawlor brothers also blame her. Even though deep down every one of them, including Cloe, knows it’s not anyone’s fault but the killer.

After leaving Camille’s funeral, Cloe loses everything. Over time she has to sell everything with any value just to survive. Once she finally reaches rock bottom, as a last resort she decides to ask for a job from the Lawlor brothers. She will do anything, clean floors and bathrooms… literally anything. This idea is dangerous in the mind of the guys due to their imaginations of what they all want to do to her. Gifts of lingerie and clothes begin showing up. They start giving her commands on how to wear her lipstick, hair and stuff like that. The chemistry between her and each of the guys is so intense. The angst is so freaking high throughout this whole book!

Now, in the background there is a lot of unknowns. There is some blackmailing of Cloe by Selene Lawlor who is Barron’s ex-wife. There is an abusive ex of Cloe who is looking for her. There are things regarding all of this that is just touched on, foreshadowing things but not explained or understood. I assume these things will make more sense once we read book 2. So, I did feel a bit lost at times. I look forward to book 2 to know what happens next!! The story does end on a cliffhanger.

SPICE CONTENT:
The spice in this book is good! There is a lot of talking it all up by the main characters, a lot of descriptions of how their bodies are feeling, how much they want each other and what they want to do to them. There are a couple of pretty hot scenes! Such high angst and restraint throughout!

Thank you so much to AK Rose for the arc!

My review is a bit late, and I apologize for that. 😅

But without further ado: Welcome to Lawlor Diamonds 💎
Their flawless quality is unmatched, with deep pockets and led by a team of ruthless brothers. The industry is brutal, and it's everyone for themselves. Those who enter it, have to adapt to survive.
Emotion and humanity have no place here, after all, diamonds are formed with pressure!

I really wanted to savor this read, because I don't think I would have been able to fully appreciate it if I zoomed through it.
More of a sipping read for me.
There were so many details, the atmosphere was dark, intense and just honestly a total mindfuck lol
A very, very drawn out, slow, psychological seduction.

Cloe gets hired mainly due to pity, and a lot of unresolved anger from the brothers she pissed off. She gets a crappy office, slow computer and a nearly broken chair.
It's pretty much all a bunch of tests, light torture, bdsm and mind games from then on too.
They want to see how much she needs the job and how she performs under pressure.

That being said, though, it was incredible!
The characters all feel unique, and the tension feels authentic.

You've got the four brothers:
Barron: probably the oldest, he runs the show
Royal: the office flirt, with a soft spot
Loyal: the quiet, ruthless assessor
Wolfe: the hunter who stalks his prey like a shadow

Cloe: our FMC who is broken and hanging on by a thread
Selene: The ex wife who wants to bury them all

The writing style is a bit different, but I felt like that's what really elevated the tension. It's hard to describe, but it felt a bit more drawn out and dramatic, almost like poetry? If that makes sense.

The blood ties got progressively darker and let you accommodate, but it feels like this new series picks up right at the darkest point and runs with it.

All the characters are very broken, almost frozen in time from being haunted by their trauma

I'm really excited to see where it goes, and looking forward for more characters to get their page time. I'm already such a sucker for Wolfe. He's got it *bad* for our girl Cloe!
I also love how he carries period supplies for those who need it.🥺

We got a taste of how these brothers get super jealous and possessive, so I can't wait to see that as the story goes on lol
I'm on board for this rollercoaster 😂

P.S. was that a London cameo in the book?? I'm going to say it is bc it makes me happy lmao

Tropes & Vibes:
Reverse Harem, but make it ruthless
BDSM, Dom/Sub, obedience kink, eye contact restriction
Silence as weapon
Mindfuck first, sex later (and it's worth it)
Mafia x Corp Power Dynamics vibes
Broken FMC, but not weak
No safe word, but not non-consensual - she wanted the leash
Why Choose
Dark Romance
Billionaire
Obsessive MMC's
Slow burn

"Because if I did, l'd grab her. Drag her into my office. Press her against the glass and make her say my name loud enough that Barron would f***ing hear it."

"You think I brought you here to be seen?" His voice was low.
Rough. Angry. "I brought you here so they knew not to touch."

I wanted her. Cloe. In garters. On her knees. With mascara streaking down her cheeks and my hand gripping her hair like a leash.

"You said you'd do anything” Wolfe added, still from the shadows. "Anything's a big word"

"Because you. little girl, stare at me like you want to be touched."

"You're mine. You got that? I let them look. But you never look back. Only me, Cloe. Only me, because to think about anything else is bringing me undone."

Characters:
Barron: probably the oldest, he runs the show
Royal: the office flirt, with a soft spot
Loyal: the quiet, ruthless assessor
Wolfe: the hunter who stalks his prey like a shadow
Selene: The ex wife who wants to bury them all
Cloe: our FMC who is broken and hanging on by a thread

Cloe isn’t some shy girl learning her power. She is already broken-already bleeding-and, watching her be seen by these men is like watching her broken spirit rise from her wounds from her ashes. And it’s beautiful. 🖤❤️‍🔥

After leaving Camille's funeral, Cloe loses everything. Over time she has to sell everything with any value just to survive. Once she finally reaches rock bottom, as a last resort she decides to ask for a job from the Lawlor brothers. She is desperate and will do literally anything, to survive. This idea is dangerous in the mind of the guys due to their imaginations of what they all want to do to her. The guys stay gifting her and commanding her how to act and wear things.
The chemistry between her and each of the guys is so intense.
The angst build up is perfection 🔥🔥❤️‍🔥

That being said I devoured this book, was on the edge of my seat reading this with all the angst and tension! I can’t wait for book 2, Their Possession!

Enorm mi-a plăcut!
Cloe se simțea neatrăgătoare și o urmăreau cuvintele lui Wolfe : " you're not meant to be seen".

I had the joy and honor of receiving the ARC of this particular book, and I’m truly excited. I discovered the author through the book Mine and I fell in love with her. I genuinely plan to read everything she has written! I was incredibly happy to be given the opportunity to read this one so early! Today it’s officially released! So first of all, I want to wish it a successful journey!
The reason I’m giving this book 4 stars is because at some points I felt there was a bit too much repetition. In other parts, I felt a bit confused by the back-and-forth in time and events. But then—everything else. Oh my God! So hot. How is it possible that I’m reading a why choose book and I honestly can’t decide what I even want to happen anymore? You know what I mean? And at the same time, I love that I get to experience the game they’re playing right along with them.

I won’t lie—at first, that made me have second thoughts. But when I really thought about it, I realized it achieved exactly what it set out to do.

Thank you again for this opportunity and for the joy it brought me. I truly hope I can get all the copies in physical form someday. ❤️

I’m writing this fresh after finishing the book. And when I say I AM FUMINGGGGG. OHHHHH MY GODDDD.

Okay anyway. Yeah A.K. Rose?? MISS MAAM?? What kind of crack did you put in this?? 2.5 hours is all it took me to finish this. I ATE IT UP AND COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN. Everything in this book just makes me wanna cry, throw up, scream, rage, ALL OF IT! I am feeling ALL of the emotions right now. I can’t even believe what just happened, and how that ended. ARE YOU KIDDING?? YOU’RE GONNA LEAVE ME WITH THIS KIND OF A CLIFFHANGER?? I NEED BOOK 2 IMMEDIATELY. PLEASE.

Barron- the big boss brother. Royal- the flirty brother. Loyal- the silent brother. And Wolfe- the primal brother. Oh mannnnnn, these brothers compliment each other in such a unique way. And the way that Cloe just kinda fits between them?? I’m living for this. BUT OH MAN I AM FUMINGGGG. Now look, I’ve never wanted to fight an fmc before.. But I’m looking to swing on her HAHAHAHA😂😂😂

I love the darkness of A.K. Rose’s writing. The depth of it all. For this book, I loved the storyline behind it and where it was progressing to. It was more of a mind cluster in the beginning, a what will you do thought process, but started to lose me at the end. Didn’t quite come together as I would have liked or expected. Didn’t quite feel like a reverse harem as one of the guys was all in hinting to having a past, one guy was just flirtatious but spoke about not really wanting her that way and one seemed like he wanted to be nice and just silently watched and the last seemed like he may have wanted her but was super standoffish so I was kinda confused. Also kind of bled together on events of what happened and when. But total psychological warfare here and ownership on a mental level. Still excited for book 2 and how this continues to come together!.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

3.5 Stars

I very rarely leave a less than 5 stars honestly especially when it comes to atlas rose. But there were a lot of scenes in this book that they would say one thing and then to 2 paragraphs later it was a different situation. Or things were repeated that were already said.
Example: she pulled out a note and he watches her but then 2 paragraphs later she comes out to the kitchen where he is and he asks her what’s wrong?? Like he wasn’t in room?

I just feel like there is a lot of gaps that don’t make sense and scenes that jump around without much explanation. I do enjoy the story line and maybe the next book will make things make more sense but right now I just have more questions than anything.

I received this book for free as an ARC reader and am leaving this review voluntarily.

I'm a huge fan of A.K. Rose's books, so I went into Their Arrangement with really high hopes. I've been following her Blood Ties series, and I was so ready for the next installment. Unfortunately, this one just didn't work for me.

While I love the gritty, dark romance style Rose is known for, I found this book incredibly hard to read. It felt like I was reading a draft, not a finished novel. There were so many inconsistencies and plot holes, and it was often repetitive, as if key scenes or themes were being restated without new information. It was a struggle to get invested in the story, and I found myself repeatedly putting the book down.

Ultimately, I had to rate it 2 out of 5 stars. It pains me to give a low rating to an author I admire so much, but I have to be honest. The story felt like a chore rather than the thrilling, can't-put-it-down experience I've come to expect.

While I'll still be looking forward to her next release, this one was a definite miss for me.

Wow, have you ever watched a movie that sucks you in and the whole time you're not sure what direction the producer will go with the plot, and then when you think you have it figured out you actually don't. That's how Their Arrangement is, from the minute I started reading it was so hard for me to put down cause I just kept wanting to know what was going to happen next. And then every time I thought ok I know what's going to happen, I realize yea no I have no clue. Also let me just say the writing is magnificent you get such great vivid detail of the plot and surroundings that you can actually feel or visualize what's what is happening, but be prepared cause when I say this is a slow burn I mean it's deliciously slow almost like your be teased and prepared for something big that's coming. I can't wait to continue the story.

I devoured this book, just like all of her books that I’ve read. This book is just perfection, I’m a fan of the Blood ties & I just knew I need it to read this and It was everything I expected and more, the writing, and the tension 🥵. The obsessive and deranged MMC´s, I just need more and that cliffhanger 😫 I CAN´T wait to know more about the Brothers stories and I need Royal and Loyal POV´s.

I’m so ready to Their possession

Diamond Ties Series Book 1.

So many QUESTIONS!!!
I have so many.

Its bloody excellent writing.
Written as a quiet whisper. Reads as a Foreign Language Cinema Nouveau Movie with its quiet subtitles.

I want to know so much more.
Atlas leaves it to you to do the line work. She colours the picture.
But there arent any lines..

I am waiting in all eagerness of a kid waiting to make a wish on his birthday candles for book 2 .

Im in love with the series already and this is book 1.
Cloe is a mystery. She starts one and she is still one (to me)

There is so much happening between the lines, inbetween the paragraphs and chapters and then in the insinuations and breaths.

Feel me re-reading this before reading book 2 so I can make double sure Ive picked up on all the important bits.

WOW.. Another amazing book.

ARC Review

3.5 🌟 from me.

Their Arrangement was alright. Some parts were a bit disjointed for me, or the pacing pulled me out of my immersion at times, which is what stopped me from giving it a full 4 staes... but A.K. Rose genuinely has a knack for creating tension.

You can practically feel the pull between the FMC and the MMC immediately. The mix of danger, passion, and intrigue kept me flying through chapters, and I loved how addictive their push-and-pull felt. I was at the edge of my seat and stayed up late reading.

The pacing is fast and dramatic (sometimes a little too fast that it got confusing for me), but it fits their intensity.

Overall, this was still an entertaining read for a dark romance lover like myself.

plot: 3.5/5 • Smut: 2/5 ———> Whomever said this was the smuttiest read of 2025, I have questions for you. This was definitely a psychological mind fuck, but I would say it was smut. There’s absolutely “touch her and die vibes”.

There’s Royal, Loyal, Barron, and Wolfe. Two of the brothers have some contact with Cloe, but the other two, one specifically is just kind of there. We don’t get much about him.

The overbearing, over protective, psychological mind fuck that is Wolfe is kind of endearing. I would like a man that possessive over me.

I love AK, but this was just not it for me. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Title: Their Arrangement
Author: A.K. Rose
Genre: Dark romance
Ku: Yes
Tropes:
Rating: 🌟🌟🌟

To be honest with you I don't know if I'm just dumb or what but I was really confused about what was happening in this book i feel like there was a lot of backstory that I just didn't understand. I kept on checking to see if this was the first book in the series or not.

The pace was nice and smooth throughout the book.

Would I Recommend this book probably not.

Thank you to A.K.rose for giving me the opportunity to read your book.

This storyline has so much potential, I honestly was asking myself the entire time, what in the heck is actually going on?! It's very psychological and mysterious, but the writing style of this series makes it harder to keep track of exactly what people are playing what parts in the storyline. I would rate it a 3.5/5 because it was a good storyline. I just was lost in the way it was written. I see the potential of the storyline though and I am def interested in reading book 2 to see where that cliffhanger goes and how this all pans out for Cloe and Wolfe.

I had mixed feelings about this one. A.K. Rose nails the dark mafia vibe with tension, obsession, and plenty of heat. The story of Cloe returning to the Lawlor Empire and falling into “the arrangement” is addictive, with a great sense of danger and betrayal.

However, some parts felt repetitive, and I struggled to connect with the brothers—their intentions were often confusing, and the timeline was a bit muddled. It didn’t fully come together as a reverse harem for me.

Still, the psychological games and dark atmosphere kept me intrigued. I’m curious to see how book two unfolds!

After the death of her best friend, Cloe disappeared, but now she's back and needs a job, so she heads to her best friend's brothers. From the moment she walked in, it was a power trip, and things took some crazy, steamy turns. This is an off the charts steamy read with an overall good storyline, but at times it felt a bit repetitive. This book ends in a cliffhanger, so now I wait to read the next book to find out how the story ends. Their Arrangement is book one in the Diamond Ties series. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

I am a big fan of Rose’s Blood Ties series. It’s my all time hands down favorite!

This first installation of this series I am definitely more confused with where this story is going. Plus some of the scenes are confusing as well. There’s not much conversation with the characters either and it seems like the characters are in three main places and LOTS of repetitive wording (lace, silk, lace, silk, marble, office, heels, office, corset, marble..). The spice is mid- at best. I will keep reading the series but it’s a *shrug* from me.

WE LOVE WOLFE. I'll say that with my whole chest.

this story follow Cloe who lost her favorite person in the world. she comes back to the world she was never met to be in. Wolfe is OBSESSED.
this was hot, steamy, and well written. I am ready for book 2 already 🤣

we have a few MCs- Loyal, Royal, Barron, and WOLFE. All different with their relationship with her in their own ways. I devoured this in 2 days. and I have to say 10/10.

What in the world is this writing style?? I can’t believe I’m 90% thru and can barely understand what the hell is happening in this story. I came here expecting to see I was reading an AI book. I don’t get all the rave reviews. The spice is limited and scenes in general just don’t make sense chronologically at times. Felt like there were just chunks of text missing that would help form a cohesive story.
