I was so excited when I began reading this book! I have loved all of Moonlight Muse’s books and the fact that this is a continuation of all of my favorite characters with their children/family! I most definitely recommend reading all the books in this series so you will get the full experience from each character and their very own story that brings you up to date with the new characters! Jayce and Sienna’s love story is left on a cliffhanger at the end of this book but that just leaves me excited for whatever rollercoaster Muse decides to take us on next! I recommend this series/book to anyone that loves the supernatural world!!!!

This book carries a lot of weight and atmosphere. It is not just about beautiful scenes, but about grief, choices, power, and the way tension keeps pulling you forward.

Characters and Setting

I've been an avid reader of Muse's since the very beginning. I've fallen in love with characters of every book I've read of hers and it was no different this time. I was absolutely gripped from the start.

I wasn't sure how Sienna and Jayces story was gonna pan out at all but I was so pleasantly surprised by it. Loved the academia vibes so much! As always Muse been the queen of cliffhanger herself absolutely KILLED me with that ending! 🤣🤣

You are not prepared for what's about to hit you! The 7th book in the Rossi Legacies starts with heartache and ends on a BANG. Sienna's growth throughout this book is remarkable. She goes from meek to badass over the course of the book. Does she make some bad decisions? Of course, she does. LOL. Jayce seems pretty awful to start with, but it's not long before you'll succumb to the Westwood charm. You'll find out who the Deimos King is and see what sort of cool powers he has plus the sisterhood and brotherhood in this book reminds you why we LOVE all of these characters. Now... prepare yourself for book 7 to end in heartache and on a CLIFFY! They don't call Muse the Queen of Cliffhangers for nothing. The spice in this book is spicy once the leads finally get together, but their love story is what you'll keep going back to! 10 out of 10! I can't wait for the conclusion of Jayce and Si's story in Book 10!

This story had so much involved. IT is a 7th book in a series and you have to read the others first. I fell in love with almost every side character. The way Muse brought in all their personlaities was so fun and entertaining. Azura was by far my favorite.

Although this story was the start of Sienna and Jayces story, Muse was flawless in her world building. I felt like I had a full picture in my mind constantly.

I identified the most with Sienna’s grief having lost my Father myself. The way in which she showed Sienna’s emotions and her growth through her grief was truly captivating.

Jayce and Sienna’s bond was so intense, I believe it truly showed how paranormal beings love and lust differently.

I highly recommend starting this series from the beginning if you haven’t. Muse’s writing style is truly brilliant. It leaves you guessing at every turn.

I have so many questions... SO MANY QUESTIONS!

I know I really should elaborate to give a proper review but I'm gonna need a minute to get over that ending. What the hell is going on Muse?

This series just keeps getting better and better. And just when we think we're gonna get all the answers, or a lot of the answers that we're looking for we get hit with as many more questions.

Sienna and Jayce have both been infatuated with each other since basically forever. And when they finally give in and accept their feelings for each other, everything is going great, until it isn't. I swear it's like everything that can go wrong does, and Si gets put in an impossible situation, and where there was supposed to be happiness, we get only heartbreak.

But again, that ending... OMG! I swear I read that last chapter over 5 times and I can't wait to see what will happen next.

The Tribrid Princess and The Taste of Chaos had me hooked from the start. This story shows how one devastating loss can break even the strongest soul. Sienna Rossi was once the top of her class—confident, powerful, and destined for greatness at Midnight Academy. But after losing her father, grief shatters her. Her once-gifted powers spiral out of control, she lost all her confidence, and the girl who could once bring down anything impossible with her powers now struggles to even hold herself together. Reading her struggle hit hard, because you can feel how much she wants to be herself again.

Then comes Jayce Westwood. The ruthless Alpha heir who ends up leading her division. At first, it feels like he hates her. To Sienna, he seems to despise her weakness. To Jayce, she’s a distraction he doesn’t want but can’t ignore. But the truth is the complete opposite. Age Range: FMC is 17 (turns 18 in the book) and MMC is said to be a year and a half older

Book Boyfriend Material: Jayce is a book boyfriend that at the beginning you imagine he's going to be a pretty big grumpy jerk, and he kind of is. He's a confident future Alpha of his pack, after all.

It turns out he's more of a cinnamon roll but only for his girl.

Once he knows feelings are mutual he's not afraid to go for what he really wants and is determined to not let anything get in his way.

FMC: Sienna's world kind of stops when her father dies and she's still struggling years later.

While her closest friends and family know she has lots of potential, to outsiders she seems to be more of a failure and disappointment.

In reality, her powers are more powerful that anyone realizes and Sienna constantly self sacrifices to keeps her loved ones safe.

She's definitely an emotionally charged woman and uses her emotions to make decisions more than logic, which certainly leads to unintended consequences.

That said, she loves hard even if it's sometimes in ways others don't understand.

Series or Stand-Alone: This is a book that is part of a The Rossi Legacies series set in the same universe of The Power of Bonds Saga also by Moonlight Muse.

Ending: Ends with cliffhanger that isn't happy for now. The next book in the series has not been released yet.

This was yet another enjoyable read from Moonlight Muse. I'll admit that this book did take me a while to get into, but when I got about 20% through, I started getting hooked and it was hard to put down.

-Characters with abilities that are different from most supernatural books I've read

-Interesting parallels with Greek mythology

-Main and side characters are enjoyable to read

Dislikes

-There's a lot of characters to keep track of

-Lack of communication (sometimes forced) and angst is a common theme if that's not your thing

-Ends on a cliffhanger with the next book being about a different couple

Overall, I recommend this book to anyone that enjoys spicy fantasy enemies-ish to lovers, especially with werewolves and other supernatural beings that aren't always common like witches and demons.

Just be aware that it does end on quite the cliffhanger that may or may not take a while to get resolved.

Warning, if you are not caught up with the Legacy books and have atleast read up to book 6, please don’t read ahead. I usually don’t leave spoilers of any kind but it’s so hard not to talk about the past stories with this one. Possibly warning about spoilers in this book as it’s just so hard not to. So just remember, you’ve been warned.

Another amazing story from Muse. As always, I expect to go into her books with the anticipation that I won’t be able to predict anything. And as expected, this is exactly what happened. I don’t mean a typical roller coaster with twist and turns either. This rollercoaster took us upside down and sideways

So just have to start off with Sienna. The poor Rossi family has faced so much loss from the past, but I don’t think any of the books even touch upon the effects of loss like this one did. Sienna is absolutely gut stricken from losing her father, the amazing Rayhan Rossi. From the beginning of this book, you can feel her pain and can almost resonate with her and how she feels. So many of us would do anything and everything to have the ones we love back in our arms. Grief is a powerful thing and she is struggling. It’s seen everywhere from her emotions and even within her powers. Her wolf has not even awakened yet but her battles begin with her demon and witch side. She is a tribrid after all and is struggling to have control over her powers.

Jayce is the most anticipated Deimos king. Everyone walks around and discusses how he is most likely one of the rulers. Especially with him being the youngest leaders ever in the academy. Sienna is always trying to avoid him, but how could she when she is chosen to be in his group. Lucky her and him. He can’t get away from her now and she can’t escape him. Jayce is just what Sienna needs though to help her learn control and how to hone her powers to become the powerful tribrid everyone expects her to be. No pressure right? And ofcourse, will all this time they are spending together going to spark any type of feeling they have been in denial of? Or maybe not in denial themselves but to others.

There is just so much I could say about this book and so much more I wish I could discuss without giving more away. What I’ve said is literally just surface information. As I said, it’s more like loops than twists in this story and I was soooo here for this. I could not put it down and just kept wanting more. Just remember, you have been warned. Enjoy!!!!!

Three years later, she still struggles to fit in at the Moonlight Academy, all of her colleagues believes she is the weakest Rossi alive and isn't worthy of the Rossi name. This year, she will learn in which division she will be in. But when she thinks that boy, Jayce Westwood(on whom she has an unknown crush), despises her, everything becomes more difficult. Everything changes when she learns that she will be a member of the Ninth Division, which is led by Jayce.
Since she is the only person on his mind and he is consumed by thoughts of her, Jayce despises his feelings and thoughts for Sienna. As a team member, he wants to assist her in controlling her powers. However, while training with her, they effortlessly fall in love. At the same time, Jayce is trying to figure out what means the symbol he always is drawing.
Could Jayce help Sienna in controlling her powers? Will Jayce discover the mystery of the symbol and why he's drawn to it?


What have you done to me, Muse?!
From the first pages of the book, I just purely sobbed and all throughout the book I had a mixed of emotions: sadness,joy, laughter, anger and when I thought that finally I will finish the book in a good mood, again I was left sobbing.
What a whirlwind of emotions.
The story has a great mix of everything, I really liked how Jayce and Sienna's love story started and developed. I also appreciated how the Westwood family stay in touch and look out for one another with the Rossi family. At the end of the book, I was so upset and angry on one of my favorite characters (Alejandro),I wanted to shake him and shout to him because his attitude towards Westwood family was unfair.

For a better understanding, read the first books from "The Rossi Legacy" because all these stories are interconnected. But if you want to know more about where everything started and the development of all the characters from this book, it would be great to start with "The Alpha Series".

Hot damn, that prologue was nuclear!😭🤧

Witnessing Sienna's daily struggle with crippling pain, shattered by grief, was absolutely heartbreaking, and her palpable, raw, and real depression demonstrated its debilitating grip, fueled by fears of failure and inadequacy.

While reading this, I experienced a whirlwind of intense emotions and occasionally had to step away, as Sienna's struggles resonated deeply with my own similar experiences.

🔥 The chemistry between Sienna and Jayce was so ridiculously SPICY I was basically a human squeaky toy, bouncing around with excitement.🔥

Not going to lie this book had me in tears over the first quarter of the book when Muse describes how our FMC Sienna Rossi is coping with the loss of her father. Its clear she is not with bouts of depression, anxiety and self loathing mixed in with the constant glares and hurtful words slung her way by Jayce Westwood. Placed in divisions at the academy Sienna's worst fears arrive when Jayce is named the youngest leader and leads her team. She now she has the team to worry about as she struggles to control her powers. Plagued by dreams she makes a deal to save a loved one but at the last minute realises she has been tricked but unable to stop what is happening.

Jayce Westwood is thrilled to be the academy's youngest division leader but knows it comes with responsibiliies and one of those is Sienna. He is tasked to help her control her powers and finds his feelings developing to something more than the crush he had a her growing up. After a great revalation Jayce makes it his mission to protect Sienna no matter the cost. That is until her betrayal leaves him begging and crawling to her to come back to him.

This has to be up there with one of my favourite muse books. There is so much packed into this book from high emotions to betrayals and shocking revaltions. Muse explores the history of the bloodlines and how the Westwood line fits in with the rest. The relationship between Sienna and Jayce is a very emotional one and him being the alpha heir the posessiveness is all there. We are left with a cliff hanger ending when Ares comes face to face with a traitor and its not who he thought it was. Now impatiently waiting the next book for the story to continue.

This is book 7 in the Rossi Legacies series, and I highly recommend reading the earlier books first so you can fully follow along. In many ways, this feels like a second-generation story, since it follows the children of the characters from the Alpha series. If you haven’t read that one yet, I strongly suggest you do, it builds the entire world and gives so much more depth to the experience of this series. You’ll appreciate where it all started.

Be warned!!! This book ends on a cliffhanger. But trust me, it’s absolutely worth it. The next installment is currently being serialized on Ream and Inkitt, or you can wait until it’s released on Amazon.

One of the things I love about Moonlight Muse is the way she builds her storytelling. She doesn’t just write a book, she creates a world you can see in your mind with every page. The attention to detail is incredible: the characters, the surroundings, the backstories. Everything feels layered and real.

This book also dives into some heavy but important themes: dealing with death, the feeling of losing yourself, and the slow, painful journey of finding your way back. It also shows the harsh reality of facing the consequences of your actions, even when your intentions were good. I appreciated that it didn’t gloss over the fact that love alone doesn’t always fix everything. Sometimes, we really do have to walk through the fallout of our choices.

Do I hate that I have to wait after that ending??? Absolutely!!! Do I LOVE that it was so brilliantly written that I’d happily reread it while waiting? Without a doubt!!!!

My advice: read this book, read the whole Rossi Legacies series, and definitely read the Alpha series too. You won’t regret it!! Another Moonlight Muse masterpiece in the bag.

I read this in one sitting, I couldn't put it down! There is so much I could talk about with this book but it is one of those where you need to read it for yourself to appreciate how truly brilliant it is and expirence all the wonderful moments as they happen.

It never fails to amaze me the complexity Muse gets into each and every book she writes. The depth in which these characters, their world and the continued story that unfolds as the series is written with is perfection! It helps you visualise everything and really understand who these characters are. This book was a rollercoaster of emotions, anticipation, suspense, action and mystery. It kept my brain constantly guessing and I love that from a book so much. I can't recommend this book and series enough, it ticks every box and then some.

There is no better combination than a Rossi and Westwood, this time however it is a Rossi Princess with a Westwood man which did not disappoint, it was everything! I loved how Jayce and Sienna's relationship developed throughout the book and their chemistry was fantastically written. I love the family vibes from both the Rossi and Westwoods as well as their shared bonds.

Although Jayce and Sienna's story is their own this book does reference previous events and books as well as being part of a bigger story that continues through, it was read in order. This book is also part of a duo that does end on a cliffhanger.

This is an arc review that I have chosen to write due to my absolute love of the book.

I’m in awe of the continued world-building Muse has done. The amount of detail and care Muse has put into this world and the magic systems was extraordinary. She has continued to build from My Forbidden Alpha and has continued to expand on it in the Rossi Legacies.

This book follows Sienna Rossi and Jayce Westwood. Sienna and her family experienced a tremendous loss. Sienna continues to navigate her grief that left her shattered. Sienna no longer felt like herself emotionally and her magic had become chaotic. As much as she wanted to leave the Academy, the King would not allow it and she was then placed into her Division.

Jayce was a ruthless, broody alpha-hole. As the Division leader he pushed and taught Sienna to no longer fear her magic but to control it. The more time they spend together the more they become drawn to each other. Jayce thinks she’s a distraction and Sienna thinks he hates her. The tension between these two was palpable. I loved their dynamic and story. But be warned Muse does not play with cliffhangers and this was one for the books 🤯

In my opinion, Muse writes poetry, her words wrapped around my soul and evoked a whirlwind of emotions from me. The last 90% of this book put me through it! I’m unwell 😭, and I don’t know why I’m even surprised anymore. My heart broke for everyone.

To truly appreciate this book, I think you need to start with My Forbidden Alpha or at least with Alpha Leo and the Heart of Fire. There was so much history woven between all these books. All the side characters still play a pivotal role within the series. There was also a moment in this book that if you didn’t read it from the very beginning the emotional impact wouldn’t have been the same.

The Tribrid Princess and the Taste of Chaos was about grief, friendships, family, betrayal, love, and heartbreak.

Moonlight muse has done it again. She is the queen of paranormal romances. This is the 7th book in the series, which is the next generation of the Alpha Series. 12 books and 2 novellas and Moonlight Muse can still grab your attention and rope you into the world of the Rossi Legacy. Each book is better than the last. This is not a stand alone and you will quickly learn that Moonlight Muse is the queen of cliffhangers, ripping your heart out, and believing in the unexpected. You have to trust the process and it is worth it trust me!!

The Tribrid Princess and the Taste of Chaos does not disappoint. This book follows Sienna and Jayce as they closer to the ultimate battle. Sienna is a Rossi princess who has had to survive one of the greatest heartbreaks a daughter will have to survive. With this, she came into her powers that she cannot control. So, suppressing her magic and not trying is her solution. She is trying to find her way, while not fitting in. Jayce is the perfect blend of bad boy Alpha and Westwood charm like his father. He has a strong exterior, but a soft side only a few will see.

This book is a beautiful masterpiece that is an emotional rollercoaster. This book will rip your heart out, make you think everything will be ok, then completely demolish you. The choice that Sienna has to make and the results that follow will crush you. I cannot wait to see where the character go from here. This is definitely a must read if you love the Alpha Series, the previous Rossi Legacy books, or any fan of shifter romances.

😭😭😭😭😭 This book ruined me, in all the good ways but it was such an emotional read! it broke my heart and then Stitched it back together and then the ending, my heart is torn again 💔

Always trust the process with Muse, her writing is spectacular, her stories are living and breathing proof of art that I am so emotionally invested in from the beginning. And this book is EVERYTHING!

Sienna is a misjudged, sweet and stubborn witchy demon, who has developed a crush on Jayce- one of the Westwood Quints, she always thought he hated her but it turns out they each misinterpreted each others feelings without communicating. These teens are in a college like institution who every shifter and magical being, training for the constant war waging their world. I loved the both of them and their character build up, they are both misunderstood, under so much stress, but they work so well together.

I love the frequent appearances of all our favourite Rossi's and Westwood's that we have grown to know and love from the very beginning, including Elijah and Scarlett.

This book is left on the BIGGEST cliff hanger I think Muse has ever written, and the next book is Heaven's, not a continuation of Sienna's. But this book overall was a phenomenal read, I enjoyed it so much, was hooked from the get go. Tou do need to read these all in order, it's a constant continuous storyline which develops more and more as we go along.

This is Book 7 in The Rossi’s Legacy series, and it is the story of Sienna Rossi and Jayce Westwood. Honestly, I am not ok, this story was heartbreaking, soul shattering, and intense.
Forewarning, this story doesn’t have a HEA, yet, this is a connected series, so we possibly haven’t seen the end of Sienna and Jayce’s story.
The story starts with a snippet of the aftermath of the battle in Book 6, where Sienna hears that her dad has died. We then fast forward a couple of years and we see the affects of his passing, Sienna is a shell of herself, eroded by her grief she lacks confidence, self belief, and has low self esteem, she lives to survive only. It’s heartbreaking seeing grief written on a page and reading a character going through it. Then we have Jayce, the oldest of the quintuplets, the future alpha of his pack, facing up to a life full of pressure and responsibilities. In the aftermath of the battle, everything has changed and many had to grow up too quick, plus the reality of their changing world is now in their face and undeniable.
The story is one of of intense emotions, grief, struggling, hidden emotions, hope, and determination. We see Sienna and Jayce start to understand each other, open up and trust, their bond develops beautifully and there are some seriously sweet moments between them. But then that is shattered by meddlesome gods and we are left on the most heartbreaking, soul shattering cliff hanger ever, I feel like my heart has been ripped out. Muse is the “Queen of Cliffhangers” and this one takes 1st place! I’m reeling, this book has left me with a book hangover like no other and I’m starving for the next one in the series!

Sienna Rossi is a Rossi Princess who has everything. She was powerful, brilliant, full of life until she suffers from a great loss and becomes shell of herself. Struggling with grief and pain her powers become chaotic. She has to attend Midnight academy and has to join combat unit under the leadership of Jayce Westwood.

Jayce Westwood is the brooding, powerful future Alpha of the blood moon pack. He tastes Sienna's limits and she thinks he hates her but his heated gaze says obsession.

They have sizzling tension, attraction that hurts, burning desires neither of them wants to acknowledge at first. Their chemistry is scorching and emotions are intense, steamy and passionate intimate moments are so hot.

This story takes you to an adventurous journey with werewolves, witches, demons,gods and some otherworldly creatures, as the threat of war is looming over them and enemies are surrounding them. The Queen of cliffhanger surprised me at the end with cliffhanger 🫣 and I can't wait to know where their destiny leads them.

💜This book was incredible and kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. The ending leaves you craving more, demanding the second half of Jayce Westwood and Sienna’s story. The story is told from MPOVs, but mainly focuses on the two main characters, Jayce Westwood and Sienna Rossi. This is not a standalone.

❤️‍🔥Jayce Westwood, the son of Liam & Raven Westwood, is the eldest of the Quintuplets of the Deimos line. Jayce has a cold exterior but cares deeply for the ones he loves. He is tough on Sienna and struggles with his inner feelings and deepest desires. Jayce comes across as a bad-boy Alpha with a tough exterior.

💜Sienna Westwood is the daughter of Rayhan & Delsanra Rossi. Between her mother and father’s bloodline, Sienna is a Tribrid who struggles to control her powers. When her father is killed, her powers turn into chaos, and her inner struggles begin. We watch as Sienna, who believes she is a failure and a shadow of her former self, emerges as a fierce protector.

⚡️The battle of the gods rages on throughout the book. We will get a look into the academy life with new characters, as well as reappearances from our beloved characters from previous books. Monsters continue to appear, causing death and destruction in their wake.

💥Book seven brings us utter chaos with plot twists and secrets. There will be parties, football games, academy missions, wolf shifts for the first time, fated mates, and steamy opposites attract, force proximity spice. The ending leaves you devastated in classic Muse fashion.

♥️Moonlight Muse books are filled with inner depth, rich emotions, character development, and world-building. I have not found a book written by her that I do not like. I highly recommend this series. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Where do I start?
This book is a complete roaller coaster of emotions and one hell of a ride in the Museverse train!
It may seem to you like just another story of enemies to lovers, but with Moonlight Muse nothing is that simple or plain. There is allways a plot twist or two, and this time a whole lot of cliffhangers.
Make sure you take the time to read it, because once you start you won't be able to put it down.
Her unique storytelling talent enraptures you and you feel like you are living it, not just reading it. You feel every emotion, every pain and every joy, you cry with them and laugh with them and even despair for them, because you know whats coming and you want to help, but you just have to trust Muse and let it flow.
It really is another amazing book by a talented author that allways leaves you wanting more.
Be prepared for the ending, or might I say new beggining, as it is bittersweet. It warmed my heart for a particular reason, but it tore me apart at the same time. Can't be more specific without giving spoilers, and it wouldn't be the same reading the book after that.
Congratulations Moolight Muse for allways stepping it up a notch, and givings us readers another fantastic book.

So I am not a crier when I read, but when I read Kat’s story and Rayhan death I was crying and was thinking about it many days after I finish the book. So I was prepared that Sieanna’s book will be emotional, but I have not expected that I will cry during first chapter and every other time Rayhan was mentioned (yes he is my favorite from previous series). This story is full of sadness and suffering and I loved every page of this book. The writting and story gets better and better with each of Muse’s book and I am so in love with this series, it is my roman empire and I can’t wait to know how Sienna and Jayce’s story ends. The ending of this book is massive cliffhanger (if you know Muse than you expect it) and two days after finishing this book I still stink about it and I cannout focus on my current book. This was epic story and I am so excited for the next one, even tjough it is Aldona’s story 😊 thank you Muse for amazing reading experince, don’t stop writting bcs I will buy and read whatever you write❤️

Moonlight Muse does it again but will my heart ever recover?

This book is part of an ongoing epic story following multiple generations of interconnected top elite werewolf and witch families with increasing dangers and growing powers.
This book like all the others will appeal to lovers of shifter stories both action and romance based.
As the books progress more supernatural characters become intertwined and they become an ongoing saga of love, romance, hate, power, discrimination, war, rising from the ashes and even fighting the gods themselves.
I would recommend you start from Moonlight Muses's first installment in the entire series as there will be important relationships and motivation you'll miss if you don't but they're all amazing on their own.
Go ahead, give it a try but hold on to your heart. She will fill it with love then rip it open before patching it together with joy. All emotions will be covered and this particualr book will only really be happy if you read the next 2 so be warned but it will all be worth it in the end, no matter the size of the cliffhanger. With MM it always is.

Jayce, a future alpha and a powerhouse in the making, hates that she's a weakness, he knows she's better than that! He needs to help the girl he's always had feelings for. He needs to make sure she's no longer a weakness
They must come together to ensure they are at their full potential. Their love for each other is strong but it's it strong enough to last their trials ? Will fate favour them? Will they survive the war ?
There's a war coming, who will survive? How do you compete in a war where the Gods are pulling the strings. The stakes are high, how much will they need to give up to come out the other side

This book is once again beyond amazing! The way Muse can capture her audience attention 100% of the time with all the angst and spice, there’s never a moment lacking!

This book is amazing, you have enemies to lovers, spice, and so much more. From trying to find your place in a world where someone you admired and looked up to is no longer there, to figuring out the new feelings radiating throughout your body at someone you shouldn’t be having those feelings for- Jayce Westwood.

The push and pull from both main characters will have you sitting on the edge of your seat, wanting more.

And Muse always delivers.
