In high school, Jesse Wolfson was a star. Some years later, his life is a mess. Having lost his scholarship after a career-ending injury and following several false starts, he ends up in Las Vegas, working menial jobs at a hotel & casino. Secretly, Jesse hopes to become a successful playwright. But the only writing job he could get is for a third-rate erotic flick. After a chance encounter with a girl he went to high school with, who's struggling too, Jesse's life is transforming drastically. They virtually have nothing except for themselves.
