Good Girl's Guide to Love

Rate this book
A sexy, bad boy/good girl, fake dating, football romance from bestselling author Chelle Sloan

GUIDE TO LOVE RULE #37: Fake it till you make it. Just don't fall in love.
Ever since I can remember, I've always played it safe. I didn't take chances. I’m the quintessential good girl of the Banks family.
At least, I was until Linc Kincaid walked into my life.
Now I'm doing things I never thought I'd do. Getting drunk. Singing at karaoke bars. Kissing hot as sin football players for the world to see.
One minute I'm a shy nurse whose biggest problem was that her ex-boyfriend was back in town. The next I’m fake dating the bad boy of the Nashville Fury.
Because yeah…that happened.
Linc and I didn't mean to get ourselves into this situation, but after pictures of our crazy night hit the internet, we agreed it was a genius plan: I needed help to keep my clingy ex-boyfriend away and he needed to clean up his image. A win-win.
Plus, he was up front with me—he didn't do long term. And since I'm a forever kind of girl, there was no way I was going to fall in love with my fake boyfriend.
Right?
Wrong. So Wrong.
In my defense, he started holding my hand for the cameras. And kissing my forehead. Calling me a swoony nickname that caused all the butterflies.
But I was holding out. Being strong. Until he offered to give me spicy lessons in the bedroom.
And I said yes.
I guess that's what I get for taking chances.
Now, somewhere along the way, I fell in love with my fake boyfriend.
And there's no guide to love for that.

I loved this one so much! Linc and Ainsley were so tender and they were made for each other. I've thoroughly enjoyed this series and grow to enjoy Chelle's writing more and more. This book mentions some triggering themes so please check TW. My heart ached for Linc but am so he found home in the Bankses and some of his teammates. The whole Katie thing was nuts but I was on the edge of my seat. Thank you to valentine pr for this arc

This series will liberate rent free in my head for the rest of my life. From Simon to Ainsley and all the Banks siblings in between…Chelle has created a world that is real, raw and so full of love and family that it makes you wish you could jump into the pages and just be part of them for a moment. I would LITERALLY give my left kidney to be a part of the Banks family…everything about them is so loving and amazing.

I’m so happy we are finally getting Ainsley’s story, but this also means we are at the end of the series and I am NOT ready to say goodbye. But this story truly summed up the magic of this series and showed just what happens when the Banks’ bring you into the fold and when you try to mess with one of them. 😉

Ainsley is our FMC and the purest and most innocent of the Banks siblings. The literal definition of “good girl”. A labor and delivery nurse who doesn’t swear and doesn’t curse. GIRL!!! How???? 😂😂 I’m a nurse and I literally drop F bombs like hellos through out my shifts and it’s mandatory mimosas after an extremely long overnight lol 😂 she’s raw dogging life and I’m impressed. 😂😂

Life is going ok…except for her dr dip**** ex who keeps harassing her. But when she runs into a literal hard body at work things seem to take an upswing…enter our bad boy, Linc…

Oh Linc…the bad boy of the NFL and our MMC. Tattoos, swears like a sailor and drinks like one too. On his last leg to try and make a go with his career by getting signed to the Fury…but the guy he’s replacing and the publics image of him are making it difficult. He’s got ONE CHANCE to make this right….and that’s where little miss goody two shoes come in.

After running into each other at the hospital, literally, they have a night of fun out at a karaoke bar…paparazzi catch photos of them and even Ainsley staying the night with him (no funny business happens they literally sleep). It’s all over the internet and a plan is made…fake dating to keep Ainsley’s jerk of an ex away and to help boost Lincs image. Win win for everyone.

Only problem is these two are LITERALLY the worst fake daters possible because everyone can see the VERY REAL feelings between them expect the two of them. Throughout the story we see them grow together and watch that love bloom. We see how Linc is brought into the Banks fold and all the chaos that happens in the family chat.

We have spicy lessons and heartfelt moments. Walls being broken down and a glimpse into Lincs heartbreaking past. We watch these two realise that even though they are completely opposite, they are exactly what the other needs.

We get a bit of suspense and drama with dr dip**** and the injured player that Linc is taking over for, but neither of them stands a chance against the Banks family…they are ready to fight for the ones they love and that includes Linc.

I’m sad to say goodbye to our beautiful guides series but I’m so happy that they all got their happy endings. This is a beautiful and heart warming end with a healthy heaping of spice 😉. I can’t wait to see what Chelle has planned for us next. 🩷

Thank you so much to Chelle Sloan and VPR for the incredible opportunity to ARC read this book and the ENTIRE series! It’s truly been so amazing. 🩷

#Review: *Good Girl's Guide To Love* - Chelle Sloan - ARC [18+]
4.7/5✨
3/5🌶️

I love so much this series by Chelle Sloan, so it was a must for me to read her latest book🩵. Thank you so much Chelle and Valentine Pr for accepting me for this e-ARC!

Linc Kincaid was momentarily part of Fury footbal team but he didn't know if they would still keep him because of his bad boy reputation. Ainsley Banks was his total opposite, being a very serious and responsible nurse, who was the definition of a good girl. But what happens when they literally crash into each other? Well that may bring great things but may also come with a lot of criticism, which was affecting them, especially Linc, who was already in a though spot with his team. A fake relationship with Ainsley might seem like the right choice at that moment but that road still wasn't easy. This time, he will have some Aces in his sleeve and all thanks to Ainsley🤭.

OMG! I had such a great time reading this book!! This one was super funny and I liked that 'love at first sight' thing. Linc and Ainsley were both attracted to each other from the beginning but she was too shy to even think about someone like Linc. But they made the cutest fake couple ever. I laughed so much when Ainsley had her share of a drunken night, being super funny how she acted when she let herself not think that much about everything. Besides the fun part, we had some shady things going on there and a little investigation was necessary. That's were Ainsley's 'crazy' family stepped in and I loooved that! They were super supportive of both of them and I felt really happy for Linc for having them in his corner.

Super fun, sweet, a bit emotional and with a bit of mystery🤭. I loved all of those elemens, creating a really awesome story, which will definitely put a smile on your face😊.

Linc and Ainsley are absolutely adorable together—as if they were made for each other. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed every installment of this series, and my appreciation for Chelle Sloan’s writing only grows stronger.

First off, I am smitten with Ainsley—she’s a woman after my own heart! Linc wasn’t quite the “bad boy” I’d expected, but that slight edge was just enough to make their opposites-attract dynamic truly charming. I especially appreciated how the story wove in Linc’s games as a backdrop; many sports-themed romances skip that part, but I loved seeing him in his element—with the unwavering support of those he cares about.

The good girl × bad boy trope is such a favorite of mine, and here it was done so well. Their personalities complement each other perfectly. Linc drew Ainsley out of her shell, teaching her to let loose and truly enjoy life without worrying what others thought. On the flip side, Ainsley grounded Linc; she became his fiercest supporter, his anchor when he needed it most.

I also cherish the “found family” aspect. The Banks siblings—and their partners—welcoming Linc into their fold and showing up for him when it mattered… that was such a heartwarming element. The protective nature between both main characters was beautifully portrayed, and their “spicy lessons” were seamlessly and tastefully incorporated, adding fun without overshadowing the emotional core of the story.

I absolutely hated the villains in this book (in the best way)—and I’m so glad to see how it all played out.

In summary: this was a delightful, easy read that wrapped up the series in a satisfying way.

Thank you to Bookfunnel for the arc in exchange for an honest review! All opinions and statements are my own.

I really enjoy Chelle Sloan’s latest novel about Ainsley and Linc. Ainsley is a “good girl” who plays it safe with a steady career in nursing, cautious choices, and no messy relationships. Her world shifts when she meets Lincoln “Linc” Kincaid, star player for the Nashville Fury, after a wild night lands them in the media spotlight together. To protect his reputation and get Ainsley’s ex off her back, they agree to a fake dating arrangement.

What starts as a convenient deal soon builds into something more. Linc’s gestures begin to feel real, even as Ainsley reminds herself that he has sworn off serious relationships. As the story progresses, they grow closer with a slow-burn chemistry that pushes Ainsley to step outside her comfort zone — both in life and in the bedroom.

But will they decide that the relationship they staged for show is worth fighting for in real life?

This story is a wonderful balance of lighthearted rom-com fun and genuine character growth. With sharp banter, spicy moments, and strong chemistry, it’s a MUST READ if you love rom-coms!

4.5 ⭐️ | 2.5 🌶️

I loved this book so much! Ainsley is the “good girl” of the Banks family, she doesn’t drink, doesn’t swear, and tends to overthink everything. Lincoln, on the other hand, is a pro football tight end with a bad reputation thanks to his volatile temper. At 28, he’s considered “middle-aged” in the football world and is desperate to prove himself and keep his spot on the team.

Their paths cross at the hospital where Ainsley works when Lincoln and his teammates visit the children’s ward. But everything really changes one night when Ainsley’s ex, Jonathan, is bothering her at a bar, Lincoln steps in and pretends to be her boyfriend, and that’s where their story begins.

I loved how Ainsley tried so hard not to fall for him, but honestly, how could she resist? Linc insisted he wasn’t “forever” or “boyfriend material,” but his actions told a different story. They started spending time together for appearances, but it quickly became something more. He brought her food at the hospital, showed up for her, and proved over and over again that he was perfect for her. Ainsley saw past his reputation and believed in the man he is today—not the mistakes of his past.

One of my favorite parts was seeing Ainsley discover herself. With Linc, she began to break out of her shell, trying “scary things” and showing her goofy, carefree side. And when the spicy lessons came into play? 👀🔥 Let’s just say, Lincoln’s dirty talk was top-tier!

The Banks siblings brought so much fun to the story, constantly spying on Ainsley (because boundaries? What boundaries? 😂). I especially loved Quinn, she always steals the show!.

Watching Ainsley and Linc’s relationship shift from fake to real was so heartwarming. The way Linc trusted her enough to share his painful past, the football games, and even Ainsley’s sass toward his publicist made their story even better. Seeing his career grow and him become one of the best tight ends was such a rewarding moment.

The only thing I missed was seeing more of Ainsley’s parents, but having the siblings front and center, and welcoming Linc into the family, was so sweet.

This book is everything I love: sweet, funny, spicy, and full of heart. If you haven’t read this series yet, I highly recommend it, you’ll fall in love with the Banks family too.

Thank you Valentine PR and Chelle Sloan for the advance copy. This review reflects my honest thoughts.

Pair an inexperienced FMC with a man who is down bad for her (though they’re fake dating) and i’m in, hook, line and sinker.

These two are the worst fake daters in the history of ever (that’s a compliment, by the way) and it is truly adorable the way they can’t resist each other. I loved the friendship they formed almost immediately. I loved how she had his back as much as he had hers. By that I mean their relationship is grounded in mutual respect and protection while being just so damn charming, beginning to end.

Every aspect of this story absolutely lands. It’s funny (like, sincerely the Banks siblings having their ninja moment made me LOL), it’s sweet (“cross my heart” with melt yours), it’s HAWT (with some spicy lessons for our girl Ainsley!) and it’s compelling the whole way through.

I adore Chelle and this series and I cannot recommend it enough!

SPICE: 🌶️🌶️.5

I love this book. I love this series. I want to shout it from the rooftops and make everyone read it, and I absolutely am not ready to say goodbye to this family.

Lincoln and Ainsley were everything. I legitimately loved them with my whole heart. There is just something about a bad boy who wants to be good that makes me swoon. And when he proclaims himself the good girl’s fake boyfriend to save her from her stupid ex, I really swoon.

Plus I’m a sucker for sports romance, so this book was basically my dream.

✨Football Romance
✨ Good Girl x Bad Boy
✨ Fake Dating
✨ He Falls First
✨ Family Shenanigans

I will never tired of a bad boy x good girl combo. NEVER. And Linc was the perfect confident sweetheart to make Ainsley really come into her own. If you are the people pleasing good daughter, well then this book is for you.

I loved everything about this, the fake dating that was absolutely never actually fake, the cute little moments between Linc and Ainsley that had me melting and of course the Banks family shenanigans.

Seriously this family causes the best kind of trouble and this time even the sweet Ainsley came out swinging (literally)

Oh did I mention there are spicy lessons… cause those spicy lessons are 🥵🥵🥵

This book was just a good time. It was heartfelt, it had heat and it was hilarious.

I need you to stop what you are going and read this and trust me you will want to binge the rest.

I absolutely cannot with the Banks siblings, in the best way possible!! Once again their shenanigans are top notch, and I've fallen in love with yet another Rolling Hills couple! Ainsley and Linc were absolute perfection together! Ainsley's "good girl" personality was so fun to watch, and seeing her navigate her overthinking nature to come to terms with what she needed in her life was so real and raw! Her journey in finding herself and opening up to her loved ones was just so beautiful, and very like a Banks! And Linc was everything you want in a bad boy trying to reform his image! He was so sweet with Ainsley, patient and accepting and just everything she didn't know she needed! Not to mention the dedication and work ethic we see with his team and his career! I absolutely loved these two, and they make it incredibly difficult to pick a favorite couple of this series! I just can't get over how perfect they were for each other, even when they didn't see it themselves! Not to mention they had the sweetest meet cute, paired with the perfect toxic ex confrontation!!! And we got so much Banks siblings action, plus the Fury teammates action, that this one was the perfect mix of hilarity, heartwarming, and spice! This is easily one of my favorite series, and just further solidifies Chelle Sloan as an auto-read author in my book!! 5 stars; 3.5 chili peppers

Labor and delivery nurse Ainsley is filling in on the pediatric floor for a colleague when she crash lands straight into the hottest guy she’s ever seen, who just so happens to be a professional football player in need of some image rehabilitation visiting the chronically ill kids on the unit. After a night out turns into Ainsley dodging her cr33py ex, the gorgeous tight end comes to her rescue, and an epic, tipsy night of karaoke ends with the pair sleeping it off at his place, no funny business. Seeing an opportunity, his publicist suggests Ainsley pretend to date the hunky jock, something she surprisingly agrees to do.

Linc knows this is his last shot to prove he’s good enough to start for the Nashville Fury, despite the taunting he’s enduring from the injured player he’s replacing. If fake dating a squeaky clean and beautiful nurse will make him more palatable to the front office, he’s all for it. It doesn’t hurt that he actually likes Ainsley as a person, but neither of them are quite prepared for the way they come to LIKE like each other. (There are extremely spicy lessons in intimate relations, fyi!)

A disgruntled football veteran at the end of his career, Ainsley’s awful physician ex, and a surprising source of gossip all conspire to thwart Linc’s road to redemption, but these interlopers never expected the Banks siblings and their significant others. There’s lots of shenanigans, and it’s a fun ride to another HFN from the wonderful mind of Chelle Sloan.

I was generously provided an advance reader copy from the author and Valentine PR, and I’m pleased to share my honest review.

Title: Good Girl’s Guide to Love
Author: Chelle Sloan
Series: Guide to Love #4

What to expect:
*Football sports romance
*Good girl vs. Bad boy
*Fake dating

Pros:
Every good girl needs a bad boy to spice things up a little bit. Every bad boy needs a good girl to allow him to relax and trust the world again. Linc and Ainsley were definitely made for each other and prove that opposites attract, and that they can make it long term.

The hilarious family group messages are so good in this book! Simon and Quinn need their own sibling novella set during a holiday weekend away, where all they do is try to plan a nice trip for everyone, but everything backfires!

Safety:
OW/OM drama in the form of a jealous ex and annoying side characters. No cheating, Linc and Ainsley would never hurt each other that way. No third act breakup.

Thank you to Chelle Sloan and Valentine PR for the opportunity to read and review this title!

What an amazing addition to the Good Girls Guide series! I absolutely loved Ainsley and Linc together from the second they collided, literally, on the page! The insta-connection followed by a slow burn, high tension, sweet gestures, fight for each other romance was so perfect! And the twists and turns, followed up by some swift “Banks Family Justice,” just made this the perfect weekend read! And I can’t wait to see what comes next from Chelle Sloan! So if you’re in the mood for a sports romance, filled to bursting with amazing characters, banter that doesn’t stop, plenty of shenanigans, a dash of spice, a staggering amount of swoon-worthy moments, a few gasp inducing moments and a happily ever after than I highly recommend grabbing a copy of A Good Girls Guide to Love today!

The Banks siblings are so much fun! I absolutely loved every book in this series. Ainsley and Linc may be my favorite. She's the good girl baby of the family and he's the bad boy that had a rough childhood. What better way to makeover his reputation and get her ex to steer clear than to fake date. Especially with the chemistry they have.
Quickly lines blur and feelings become more. Linc's past keeps coming back, so the Banks siblings do what they do best, meddle and plan an elaborate plan to figure it all out.

Chelle Sloan has a way of creating characters and settings that makes you want to be a part of the story, to be friends with her characters. And every time I finish one of her books I think there is NO WAY I will love the next book more than the last. And so far I've always been wrong!
I loved Ainsley & Linc's story! I loved all the Banks sisters' stories, but I may have loved this one most of all!
From the way they met, to their traits/back stories. Good girl and bad boy. Fake dating turns to love.
And the fact that we didn't have to suffer through a third-act breakup gets an extra star from me right there!!!
Plus all the appearances by the Banks siblings made this book a hoot! I think we need a book of just Banks family texts! How amazingly fun would that be??!!
Five stars for Chelle! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

What a bittersweet, fantastically funny, and swoonworthy finish to the Banks family!

This is the story of Anisley and Linc. The final Banks sister and the epitome of a good girl.

I could see parts of myself in Ainsley, and that made me fall in love with her hard!

Linc, you are what every good girl needs, even when he didn't believe it himself. A reformed bad boy working hard to right the wrongs of his past.

Full of heart, heat, and hilarity, with a dose of Banks family shenanigans we have all loved from the get go. This final book in the series gives you all the feels!

Every book from this talented author never fails to wow me! Well done Ms. Sloan, well done!  I cannot wait to see what comes from you next!

If you love a fake dating, sports romance romcom this book definitely delivers🤩 The pacing was done perfectly, it was a fun easy read that kept me hooked. I’m so grateful to have been given an ARC copy of this book, I loved it!

The plot has the perfect amount of drama and tension caused by the fake relationship that seemed to both help and complicate things.

I loved the characters so much, and I especially loved the opposite attract vibe of a shy nurse and cocky football player. Their whole relationship was so sweet with the way he helps her break free from her comfort zone🥹

It also of course had multiple spicy moments which makes it the perfect mix of wholesome and steamy🔥

I'm going to miss the Banks Family.

Ainsley and Linc are 👩‍🍳💋
4.25 🌟
1.50 🌶

Ainsley has always been the well behaved and people pleasing sibling in the Banks family. But when she literally runs into Linc in the Children's ward of the hospital she is a nurse all that changes for the better!

Linc is the sexy bad boy tight end who is on his last chance with the NFL. He is trying to clean up his image but he also enjoys visiting the kids at the hospital because like some of them he was alone most of his life. When Ainsley runs into him he can't seem to get her off his mind. This straight laced beautiful woman.

So when the run into each other again when Ainsley is hiding fro her ex all the fun, fake dating, and emotions start. Ainsley needs a Linc in her life, her overthinking matches up with Linc's quick decisions. Linc's quick temper and is tamed by Ainsley caring and calming ways. This really was opposites attracting for not only personality but how they grew up and life experience.

The dating is Linc's Publicists idea but when things start getting and feeling real things start piping up in the media that could ruin them both.

Of course the Banks siblings all get involved to make sure Ainsley has her happy ending....even if it's fake.

I didn't want this book to end but I'm thankful that Sloan is continuing some spin off's with side characters. Stay tuned.....

This book was such a fun read! Good Girl’s Guide to Love is the 4th book in Chelle Sloan’s Guide to Love series, and even though I haven’t read the others yet, I had zero trouble jumping right in (though now I definitely want to binge the rest!).

Ainsley and Linc completely stole my heart. Their meet cute had me grinning, and from there it was all banter, fake dating, “spice lessons,” and the kind of opposites-attract chemistry that makes you stay up way too late reading. Linc is the perfect mix of bad boy charm with hidden depth, and Ainsley’s sweet-but-strong personality balanced him out beautifully.

One thing I really loved: no third-act breakup!! 🙌 Instead, Sloan focused on character growth and peeling back their backstories so you really understood why they are the way they are. It made their happily ever after feel so earned and satisfying.

Also, the found family vibes? Chef’s kiss. Between the football team and the Banks family, there were so many laugh-out-loud moments, sibling shenanigans, and just a warm, welcoming energy that made the whole book feel like a hug.

If you’re into sports romance, bad boy x good girl dynamics, or just love stories that are equal parts hilarious, heartfelt, and spicy, definitely pick this one up.

LOVED THIS SERIES

This book had me feeling so many emotions because while I’ve been wanting Ainsley’s story, I wasn’t ready to say goodbye to the Banks Siblings.

Ainsley has watched her siblings fall for their significant others and starts questioning if love is in the cards for her. A confrontation with her ex leads to drinks , karaoke and agreeing to fake date the football player, Linc, who she literally ran into earlier.

Linc is trying to fix his reputation and secure his spot on the team. After meeting Ainsley and seeing how their night of faking it, really helped offset all the negative headlines he decides that they should continue the ruse.

I absolutely ate up this book and loved watching these two get closer. I was also giddy to meet the members of the Fury and am so excited for that series to kickoff.

Ainsley definitely comes into her own in this book with the love and support of Linc. I don’t want to give too much away but Sassy Ainsley has a couple scenes and I was here for it! I’ll never stop talking about this family, their shenanigans and I’ll miss all the ‘guys’ that Simon has in his back pocket to help.

Tired of playing it safe, quintessential good girl Ainsley Banks finds her world turned upside down by Linc Kincaid, the bad-boy football player for the Nashville Fury. After a wild night together goes viral, they agree to a fake dating scheme to solve both their problems: she gets to fend off her crazy ex, affectionately nicknamed "Dr. Dipshit," while Linc gets to clean up his public image. Their plan to keep things purely professional gets complicated as their chemistry becomes undeniable. Adding to the pressure is Linc's ambitious publicist, Katie, who is watching their every move and has plans of her own for Linc's career—and his heart.

Luckily, Ainsley has her familly and the infamous Banks family group chat for backup. Navigating the chaos of her new "relationship" is a lot easier with her siblings providing a running commentary of hilarious, unsolicited advice and unwavering support, proving that fake dating a football star is a team sport.

Leave it to Chelle Sloan to DELIVER yet another AMAZING book!!! This story wove all the right elements in and had me chuckling to myself, tearing up for Linc at parts, and fist pumping the air for Ainsley.

Chelle Sloan has created a series finale that has you both melting into a swoony puddle and laughing loudly while sitting in front of the freezer because the chemistry is HOT!

I am totally head over heels in love with Linc and Ainsley. Who wouldn't with good girl/bad boy and fake dating! A perfect combo.
Their chemistry is hot and not just because the spice is spicing. Linc and Ainsley have the an amazing connection - they really see each other, accept each other for who they are but also push them to grow.

"Cross my heart, Ainsley Mae"

Linc has a heartbreaking past and I loved seeing him work to move on from it as well as trust Ainsley to help him heal those scars. I adored how much he loved Ainsley and took care of her.
I didn't just fall in love with Linc, I fell in love with Ainsley too. My overthinking brain felt completely seen. Ainsley's character evolved alot and I was along for the ride. I loved how Linc supported her to grow but not so that she changed, rather uncovered person underneath.

It wouldn't be a Banks sibling story without hilarious text banter, ridiculous shenanigans and a little Banks Family Justice!

I have absolutely loved this series, it has become my favourite of Chelle Sloan's.
It's hard to choose because all of them have been amazing, but Linc and Ainsley are my favourite of the series.

ARC Review

Tropes:
Fake Dating
Meet Cute
Pediatric Nurse x Football Player
Meddling Siblings
Good Girl x Bad Boy
Spicy Lessons

This is the final book in the Guide to Love series, and while I'm sad to see it end, it was an absolute joy to read!

Ainsley is the Banks family's "good girl"—reliable, rule-abiding, and someone who never strays too far from her comfort zone. Lately, with all her siblings finding love, she feels lonelier than ever. In an effort to avoid falling back into a bad relationship, she takes a leap of faith that lands her in a karaoke bar with a fake boyfriend. She just has to make sure she doesn't fall in love.

Linc, on the other hand, is a broken man who’s turned down the wrong path to cope with his trauma. Being temporarily signed to the Nashville Fury team is his last chance, and he knows it. He’ll do anything to prove he’s not the same person he once was.

I was absolutely obsessed with these two! They are the perfect example of opposites attracting, with complementary personalities that balance each other out beautifully. Ainsley brings more order into Linc’s chaotic life, while Linc draws out Ainsley’s "wild side" and pushes her out of her comfort zone. Oh and the spicy lessons were SPICY🔥🔥

Watching their relationship grow and them fall in love without even realizing it was both hilarious and heartwarming!

And of course, we can’t forget the Banks family shenanigans 😂. I will admit this scheme felt a little more tame compared to the others, and I was expecting a bit more drama, but I still loved every second of it! Banks Family Justice should absolutely be an official business!

I thoroughly enjoyed being immersed in Chelle’s world with the Banks family, and I can’t wait to read more about the Nashville Furys!

What You Get:

Fake Dating
Good Girl x Bad Boy
Athlete x Nurse
Spicy Lessons
She Falls First
He Falls Harder
Slow-Burn

Ainsley is the good girl of the family and is terrified to not be seen as that person. She also feels left out often since all her siblings are paired off.
Lincoln is a professional football player with a bad temper. After an issue at the bar he jumps in to pretend to be her boyfriend so he can protect her. Then social media gets ahold of it. He needs the good PR of a relationship with Ainsley and she needs her weirdo ex boyfriend off her back so they decide to continue to fake date.

Fake dating isn’t my favorite, though I love a marriage of convenience so I wasn’t sure if I would enjoy this but it was really cute. Lincoln really helped Ainsley figure out who she was after she spent years being who she thought she should be.

Thank you to VPR for the ARC.

OHHHHH LORDT this may be my favorite Banks sibling story yet. And in only the way Chelle can write, this book is the perfect amount of spice, drama, friendship, and fun.

I loved the entire story from when Ainsley and Linc physically bumped into each other and how their whole story was developed.

He’s the typical bad boy of football with a lot to lose with one more mess up. She’s the good girl nurse at the children’s hospital who doesn’t drink or swear. They’re the perfect example of opposites attract.

Throw in some drama with Ainsley’s ex, a publicist, and a rival teammate who’s gunning for Linc, and we’ve got the best blend of a story.

Plus the spicy scenes 🥵🥵🥵

I had so much fun with this book and honestly I didn’t want it to end. Ainsley showed such a mix of sweetness and strength, and watching her open up felt powerful in a simple way. Linc gave total reformed bad boy vibes, but he was also caring and patient, which made him impossible not to love. The connection between them jumped off the page, from playful banter to quiet tender moments. The Banks siblings were pure chaos, I loved every moment with them. The writing was easy to follow, with a good pace. Loved every second of it. Thank you so much to the author and Valentine PR for giving me the opportunity to read the book in advance, I received this for free and I'm leaving an honest review.

First, I ADORED Ainsley, a woman after my own heart! Linc wasn’t quite the bad boy I was expecting, but it was enough to create a sweet opposites attract story. I enjoyed the inclusion of Linc’s games as a backdrop as well. So many sports romances skip that part, but I love seeing the character in their element and the supportive significant others! The side characters are fantastic, especially Ainsley’s siblings who are hilarious! The found family, intrigue, yearning, and sexiness of this story made for a great read!

Thank you to the author and publisher for an early copy of this novel. All opinions are my own!

Absolutely devoured this book! I read it in one seating and stayed up until 2 am to finish this book. I LOVED it! A fake relationship trope that was done so well. The banter between Linc and Ainsley! The spicy scenes between them were so hot and delicious. If you like sports romance and love you a fake relationship trope then you absolutely need to read this book!

Thank you Valentine PR for letting me be on the ARC team for this book!

i loved these two so much. linc is new to any kind of relationship and has no family left, while ainsley has never had a passionate relationship and has all the family. they were the perfect bookends to balance each other out! the outside drama in this one was pretty predictable but i was still intrigued to see how they would resolve it.

(also nadia from the first book was referenced as natasha in this book and i had to check bc i thought i was losing it and didn’t remember correctly)
