I listen to forbidden romance audiobooks during my commute. The ones where the heroine falls for someone completely off-limits.
My former father-in-law caught me listening to one. The explicit kind. With "Daddy" in every other sentence.
Beck Sullivan didn't judge. He went home and did research.
Now this silver fox knows exactly what I fantasize about. What I've been craving. And two months after his son threw me away, Beck's ready to give me everything those fictional men promise and more.
Some lines shouldn't be crossed.
But when he looks at me like I'm his whole world, when he calls me his good girl...
Fiction has nothing on this reality.

Breeanna deserved better than my cheating son. She deserved a man who knew how to worship her properly.
The moment I discovered what gets her off I was done pretending I didn't want her. Done fighting what's been building between us.
I listened to every damn chapter. Took notes. Made plans.
Six months post-divorce, and she's in my bed calling me Daddy. Looking at me like I'm everything she's ever wanted. Making me feel more alive than I have in years.
The world will judge us. My family will implode.
I couldn't care less.

Father-in-Law with Benefits is a scorching age-gap romance featuring a possessive silver fox and the woman he'll destroy his family to keep. Forbidden, filthy, and absolutely addictive. Full-length standalone with a guaranteed HEA.
Father-in-Law with Benefits is a forbidden, age-gap romance that blurs the line between fantasy and reality.
Bree never imagined her guilty pleasure—listening to taboo audiobooks on her commute—would be exposed. Especially not by her former father-in-law. But when Beck Sullivan discovers the kind of stories that make her heart race, he doesn’t turn away. He studies. He listens. He learns exactly what she craves. And then he makes it clear he intends to give her every last bit of it.
Beck has always known his son didn’t deserve Bree. But the moment he finds out what ignites her desire, his restraint vanishes. Bree isn’t just his ex-daughter-in-law anymore—she’s the woman he’s ready to claim, no matter what it costs. Family judgment, scandal, and fallout be damned.
Now Bree has to decide if she’ll keep resisting what’s wrong… or surrender to a man who makes her feel more wanted than she ever dreamed possible.
🔥 Steamy, addictive, and deliciously forbidden, Father-in-Law with Benefits is a standalone romance about breaking rules, crossing lines, and finding a happily ever after where you least expect it.

This is an age-gap romance with a lot of spice. It is so good! Bree has gotten into the habit of calling Beck whenever she needs anything, even when she was still married to his son. Now she needs him again, and this need is completely different. There's nothing quite like getting caught listening to a smutty audiobook by the man she's been fantasizing about. But this is exactly what happens to Bree. Beck finally realizes she is strongly attracted to him, so he begins to learn more about what she was listening to. I love this book. An excellent story with plenty of steam and a perfect happy ending.

So this book could be so good but the continuity between chapters 4, 5, 6, and bits of 7 was so bad it was like I was reading 3 different versions of the story (and parts of chapter 6 were repeated). This really broke the momentum for me and made me dread continuing. I noticed quite a few time continuity issues throughout the rest of the book too. I think it has a lot of potential but could do with a good edit.
!Potential spoiler! Also, I struggle with little things that would never happen so when she remodels her rental home I had issues because it easily could have been fixed by just having her own the home. Nobody puts time and money into fixing a home they don’t own. There were some other things too sprinkled throughout the book but nothing major.
Beck & Breanna. While falling for your ex-father-in-law isn’t always the safest bet; it was Breanna. I loved everything about the way Beck loved her.! Breanna may have been slow to realize that she deserved the happy ending; but it was worth it. Mason had to figure out own his own how to be happy about his father & ex-wife; while he didn’t have a right to disrespect her, he had a right to his feelings.
There was a place in the book where a whole scene repeated & I didn’t like that at all; and some of the jumps in time really threw me out of the story. But all & all it was good.
Trigger Warnings; Age-gap. Daddy Kink. Explicit Sex Scenes. Family Drama
Breeanna is newly divorced and her ex FIL. Her ex cheated on her, never really saw her, and definitely didn't appreciate her. Her ex FIL Beck is BF goals. They have a taboo FWB relationship and both catch feelings. You really saw that coming. They have definite chemistry and have some very hot moments. I enjoyed seeing their relationship unfold. I also really liked his protective side to her. Like I said, BF goals. I look forward to reading more from this author.
Not bad, but there are a few chapters that are messed up & some things need to be looked at. Like there were kissing in her house, then the chapter ends. Thinking they would pick up there.....nope, they're going to dinner????????? I don't get it. The author needs to look at this & fix those mistakes. After you go back & forth a bit, it gets better. It's not a bad story but a lot of mistakes & holes in the story.
This was a great age gap romance. I always love a good ex’s dad because it combines the age gap with a touch of forbidden romance. The navigation of this one was tricky because Mason was her ex HUSBAND! Beck and Bree were meant to be clearly. They seamlessly fit into each other lives and when that happens it’s clear that it’s meant to be. You can’t force that type of relationship or sexual chemistry and whoooooaaaa did they have all the chemistry.
I binge read this throughout one day and late at night.
I love me a ex’s father trope and this book doesn’t disappoint. I love Beck and Bree’s story, it unfolded nicely and ended with the best HEA! The spice was hot and the bookish parts really made me giggle, I highlighted so much stuff from that part! Just amazing writing to be honest!
There were continuity errors in this book that took me right out of it. At the end of one chapter he left her house. And the start of the very next one they are leaving to get dinner and I have no idea when they made those plans. This book would heavily benefit from an editor who would check for those things
For a published book (as in not an ARC), there were a lot of editing errors for spelling, grammar, etc. At least once, a chunk of five or so pages was repeated and I had to go back to make sure I wasn’t losing it, but, no. Exact same text, everything, doubled up.
Love the tropes and the potential, unfortunately the execution of this caused me to DNF.
Beck was Bree's father in law. but she could always depend on him to fix things for her when needed. Now in her hour of need Beck comes to her rescue. But a discovery is made by Beck and he can not look away. Can these adults have a fresh new beginning or will gossip in a small town bring it all to a sharp end? Good read.
A beautiful ending to a very good story.. glad the son was able to see he was responsible for the breakdown of their relationship and stopped blaming others… the main leads held strong when they thought everyone would be against them.
This was a very entertaining book! The story line was great and steamy and it was a good pace. The characters were very well developed and fit perfectly together. I can't wait to read more from this series!.
