“Our weekend getaway to the Bahamas is in one month. The week before we fly out, I want everyone to take the week off and be extra good to each other. No work. No business meetings. No deadlines. Just relax and focus on one another.” — Genesis Washington-Evans
The Evans Family are flying out for a much needed vacation in one week. Before then they plan to take a break away from their busy careers. But what’s a week-long break with the Evans clan without a little drama?
One last ride with The Evans Family. I hope you’re ready.
Miss Jenesequa’s romance novels are known for their powerful and convincing storylines filled with love, drama, and passion. If you’re eager to explore unique and captivating stories, she’s the indie author for you.
This was a great wrap up to my favorite family! Miss Jenesequa you can absolutely tell you put your everything in this family. 2021 you started this thing and now it’s cemented your legacy. A Masterpiece indeed!
I loved the wrapping up of this gift. While I’m sad to this family go, I loved reading and growing from them with each story! You completed this series the way you wanted to and what more can we ask for.
This finale gave us all the updates we needed on the couples, and I loved seeing how far everyone has come.
💞 Gabrielle & Jasiel – He’s still that protector. 🔥 Nikita & Jaxson – Therapy, communication, and supporting each other’s businesses? Love that for them! They still freaky 🥵🔥🌶️ 🤎Dionne & Jaiden – Still my favorites! Leona is so grimy for that. ❤️ Numa & Cephas – Later-in-life love done right… but idk how to feel about NuNu and The Godfather 🤣 🤣 Genesis & Jordana – Kymani, girl! You are a mess lol. 🌈 Charlie & Dane – Praying they get their rainbow baby.
A perfect wrap-up to the Evans Family journey — heartfelt, funny, and full of love.
It was so much fun catching up with one of my favorite families! I loved that everyone was touched on. Dana’s ex-bff was always a problem but loved how it was tied up. I hope this is gonna come to audio too. Great read 📚😊
Messy, funny, and a sweet final ride with the Evans family. I loved getting another glimpse into everybody’s relationships, the chaos, the love, and all the little moments that made this family feel real. And Genesis is still not playing about Jordana🤭
Nice updates on the family, but kinda repetitive and the pet names were a lot for me. Having them in every sentence was cringey, especially Kitty and Mister. I did enjoy getting a peak into Numa and Cephas’ relationship since we didnt get a lot of details about them previously. Sad to see the Evans family go but I enjoyed the previous 4 books.
I loved the original books, but I idk about this one. I don’t feel like it gave me the closure lmao. It actually made me want more. And I wish it was a little longer ugggghhh!
This was such a joy to recap on this family. Every couple spotlighted with an update. That’s how you bring people up to speed. Perfectly done Miss J. Jaxson and Kitty still freaky. No kids and no desire to. I sometimes, when the couples are beautiful together, hurt a little when they don’t desire kids but definitely understand and keep an open mind and respect their wishes. Jasiel aka Grumpy is my dude and was my first Evan’s brother love. Being as he was the only one not 100% receptive to Cephas being with Mama Numa, keeps our ties close. Don’t remember much about Dane beyond Genesis’ best friend but nothing really about Charlotte but happy for their addition. Now Jaiden is my Baby Boy and Homie and love he and Dionne are adding to their happiness. Well deserved. I know Mama is the reason he’s forgiven Cephas, well maybe Dionne too. I haven’t and don’t see why he of all people deserves Mama Numa. The mental state he put my Baby in, was hard to see. I’m not there yet. Glad he’s a good man for her. I must admit I loved how he put Keegan in place. Keegan moved in public, so check him in public. My least favorite chapter, but Miss J knows why. Then, there’s Genesis and Jordana. Genesis reminded me that he has not lost one step on why book 1 was so great and still to this day. Genesis is that MAN! In every way. Jordana, I’m so glad Gabi had you go braid Kaiser’s hair that day. Thank you Miss J and please don’t ever hesitate to continue please to bring us great reads with strong beautiful characters. We need every boob!!
It's sad that its the end of this family's journey but I loved how everyone gor their happy ending. I love romance books but the mushy-gushy parts were a bit much lol lol but I got through it. It was a decent wrap up of all the books we read. We got to see glimpses of how things turned out in the end. It had more to do with the day to day dealings of each couple and what they're going through. I kinda wanted a little more about what happen on the actual vacation they were planning for.
Each couple had some issue to overcome and their stories really highlighted communication, trust, vulnerability, confidence and other factors that really ans truly make relationships work.
I'll always be a suckered for Black Love.....It's always magical ✨️.
I'll be reading some of her other series in the future, while I look for my Genesis.....SMH what a man! 😁🤪
OMG where do I begin…. It was so great catching up with the family again. I’m ecstatic to see everyone thriving and being blessed. The way Genesis, Jasiel, Jaxson, Jaiden & Cephas don’t play about their women is breathtaking and a joy to read. No harm come to the women they love. That damn wench that shall not be named is a pure dummy. Happy Gene got her ass together. Great conclusion just wished there was a little more but hey we can’t all get what we wish for. Thank you Miss Jenesequa for an amazing family!!! 🤎🤎🤎🤎🤎
This last book in the series was closure. Closure to all the lives and stories we were introduced to. From what I gather trials and tribulations can't hold you back, unless you allow it to. God is an integral part of any family unit coming together with love and understanding. Lastly, communication is a necessity, be it verbal or just body language. It relays trust and honesty. Closure I didn't know I needed. Going through life with the Evans family and their friends was good. Learned a lot about balance.
And that's what you call a recap....The Evans family is everything special and wonderful. I loved the updated stories and remembered some of my favorites like Genesis, Jaden, Jackson, Kita, and Mama Numa. Each individual couple story was heartwarming and gave you a glimpse at just how great they all are doing in business and love. Great job, Miss Jenesequa......but let me give a big shout out to Jackson and Kita that blew the hinges off the book.
This was beautiful! I enjoyed reading more of each of the couples journey in their relationships and seeing how they handle it through communication, love and respect for each other! The protection all the men shows for their woman is everything! Making sure their women don’t have to lift a finger and worry about nothing because they are gonna take care of whatever the situation is. They give New meaning to Protecter!!
I felt like this book was an unnecessary instalment. I think that each couples issues was resolved too quickly and unrealistically. The style of writing was very repetitive in this book compared to the other books. I felt quite disappointed there was only a few pages of the holiday. Based on the synopsis I thought that there would be more of the book about this and I think it was a missed opportunity. I was happy the stories were concluded but for me I felt overall it was 2 stars.
I was excited to read about the couples. Each one had their challenges, but we're able to get through them. Their love, communication, dedication, and uniqueness help them to realize that it is them against the world. I am glad Miss Jenesequa gave us an update on their lives
This book was definitely not necessary and should have been additional chapters on the other books. It did not add value to the character development or storylines. I should have stopped reading it at 25% but had high hopes and finished the whole book.
The others in the series were great, but this installment was not needed.
I Still Got you was an update on the Evans family. I loved how this was split by each couple. We were able to see where they are now and each had a little riff they had to over come. This was an amazing conclusion to the family we fell in love with in 2022.

Miss J. Thank you for the Evans family series, I truly enjoyed all of them I wish there was at least one. I am getting into more of your books looking forward to see what is coming next again Thank you
I what a great way to balance all four books out, little love little drama squeezed in just right to keep the pages turning ill miss the evans but hopefully i can look forward to the audio book soon!
Amazingggggggg I’ve Reread This Series Soo Many Times. I’m Kind Of Sad That Nikki And Shy Shy Lol Aren’t Having Any Kids But Overall Beautiful Ending Along With Beautiful Couples Miss Jenesequa.
Miss Jenesequa has done it again with I Still Got You! The story shares the love and life challenges as it intersects into the Evans family . The sexy scenes are always strategically positioned to draw the reader in. I Still Got You is a great read.
Truly an adventure....loved every book❤️ and to bring it all together.....just beautiful. Looking forward to reading more of your work. Excellent storytelling at it's finest😊
I loved this book so much. I really appreciate Miss Jenesequa for releasing this last book on the Evans family. It gave me satisfaction with their story. I Got You was one of the first books, I read by her, and it really made me love reading again. ❤️
Glad to get updates on the couples. Genesis still go hard for his Wife and Sister. Jaiden and Dionne has a baby on the way I was hoping they would of at least said the sex of the baby
It's a family affair. I've got love on my mind And there's nothing particularly wrong It's a feeling I feel inside. You can feel the love and security radiating of the entire family. They say love conquers all and this is true for this family.
What I loved most about the closing of the series with how every single couple got their own story within the novel. It wrapped up beautifully and as usual, the men are solving problems for their women and Visa. Chef’s kiss.
✨this is such a beautiful ending to the Evans family 💞 I loved the updates on everyone's lives but more importantly IM SO HAPPY that Mama Numa got the her happily ever after!!!🥰🥰🥰
From the lyrics of Jhene Aiko “Do Better Blues” each men provided a safe haven. Each relationship guaranteed “Eyes that won’t Cry, Lips that don’t lie and love that die.”
