Bigger Things

Rate this book
Bigger things are in store when the newly blended Sullivan-Bishop family – and their eclectic circle of friends – receive mysterious red parcels inviting them on a luxury cruise.

What begins as a long-overdue vacation quickly veers into unexpected waters. All eyes are on the ship’s ambitious new stage production and when the star performer is injured just days before opening night, the spotlight shifts to a high-stakes whodunit. Suspicion swirls, and it’s clear someone in their inner circle knows more than they’re letting on.

With tensions rising, it falls to Grover’s sharp-witted mother, Millicent, to trust her instincts and uncover the saboteur before anyone else gets hurt. Her journey is anything but smooth sailing thanks to Big Kev, a laid-back larrikin who is everything she is not. As they trade barbs and theories, a surprising chemistry begins to surface.

A cosy, heartfelt mystery, BIGGER THINGS is a story celebrating the idea that it's never too late to start over and discover your true purpose and potential.

So you know how most sequels really can’t touch the original of a series (think Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit, or Cars 2, or any of the Scream sequels…actually, include the original one in there as well)? And then every now and then, you find a series that every movie is just 👏 as 👏 good 👏 as 👏 the 👏 first (Back to the Future is really the only example I can come up with right now, but my point remains)? Well, Bigger Things is the latter, in book form!

From the very first page, you are catapulted back into the Big Things universe (if you ever managed to leave it in the first place, which friends, I had not), with all of our favourite humans, as they embark on, frankly, the only cruise I would willingly join, I’m not even joking.

There will be laughs, tears, redemption arcs, singing, dancing and oh yeah, a crime to solve! This story has everything you could possibly want, and as with Big Things, something you didn’t know you needed, and can’t really explain.

If you loved Big Things (and for reals, if you didn’t, what kind of monster are you?!), you will love Bigger Things just as much!
