Falling is a heartwarming romance steeped in autumn vibes and spans from Halloween to Thanksgiving in Western New York. With a flirty meet cute aboard an airplane, fabulous side characters, and open door spice, Falling follows November and Rhys as they listen to their hearts and test drive a romantic relationship before November has to return to her home in Los Angeles.
‘Love has its own timeline.’
From the moment Rhys Morgan glimpses November Day sitting beside him on a flight from Chicago to Buffalo, he’s captivated. As a billionaire business owner with looks and charm to spare, Rhys is accustomed to being nothing more than a dollar sign to prospective partners, so he’s all but sworn off romance. But something about November pools under his skin. Something different. Something beautiful. Before he knows what he’s doing, Rhys is popping up at her meditation seminar and offering to take her out for cinnamon lattes after. Rhys immediately wants to know more of November, but with a ticking clock growing ever louder, he has to ask himself how to make time and distance work to keep November by his side.
A fun flirtation on a plane that allowed November to be her boldest self was never meant to leave the airport. She’s in Buffalo to celebrate her favorite holiday, Halloween, with the only family that she has left in the world, not for romance. November can hardly make sense of the magnetic pull she feels toward Rhys, knowing that it is so much more than just physical attraction. Wrong time. She’s only in town for two weeks. Wrong place. She lives in Los Angeles, and her entire life is there. Right man? Love has never been on November’s side, but maybe it’s having a change of heart by placing Rhys on her path. Is two weeks enough time to take a chance on a once-in-a-lifetime love?

I hope that I get to see glimpses of November and Rhys in future books. This story felt so full, in that I got to learn about both characters in a way that felt like I knew them, but it wasn’t rushed. It was cute and I love Halloween so this was a perfect October read. A strong 4.5/5 from me! (Rounded up since I can’t do half stars)
... for the incredible writing and heartwarming story of FALLING !
The perfect fall read for the contemporary romance reader who loves the magical power of the "BER" months.
I truly can't believe this was a debut book because I just couldn't put it down. The writing is fun and filled with so much heart.
This is so much more than a traditional love story. This shows the many loves of a person, how the ups and downs shape you, and the importance of taking risks.
I giggled, I may have gotten misty, and I definitely swooned.
This was a fast paced, easy, cute read! A great debut for this indie author! I love a good airplane meet cute. The main characters (both over 30+ for readers that like middle age characters) were loveable as were both of their meddling families - giving fun character dynamic. This book covers all the fun fall holidays too and I love that the author included some recipes from the book in the back! ~~ airplane meet cute, meddling families, dual pov
