Part 2 of the series, and a continuation of the themes. A lot of heartwarming vignettes with her grandson visiting the parks, my favorite being Name the Good. There's a bit of fun wordplay with poems like C is for Cumulus Clouds, and continuing to address SC history, especially about Pleasant Ridge State Park. Deeply Rooted for the Conestee Nature Preserve post-Helene is a highlight close to my heart, but I think Sew and Sow is probably my favorite of the collection.

From the introductory poem, This Wild Verdant Now:
"Oh, how we press on. Foot after foot on forest floors. One after the other. We look back. We look ahead but see the beauty in this wild verdant now. We're shifted and shaped by twists and turns. The trees sing to us. They're not the only ones busy with growth."
