This is a book I've already returned to many times, it's full of practical exercises, relatable examples and hope-fuelling ideas on how to re-engage your critical thinking muscle at a time when we're being told to outsource our thinking and creativity to the machine.
It's helped me really examine my own thinking habits, without any guilt or judgement - because we're all susceptible to thinking shortcuts, even when we think we're not! Such a great way to fire up your brain and get excited about the grey matter in our heads, I know I'll be dipping into this book regularly for years to come. Highly recommend!

I was lucky to be an early reader of The Human Edge and knew right away it was going to be something special.

This book is insightful, practical, and worth reading more than once. On my second read-through, I discovered even more layers of knowledge, and I’m already planning a third.

The structured activities are brilliant for reframing your thinking, and Bethan makes the activities and conversations accessible to everyone from all walks of life and with all kinds of use cases.

In the age of AI, this is a book you’ll want to keep coming back to.

Written around 18(?) questions/discussions plus exercises makes for a disjointed book that is hard to follow a broad thread/theme and takeaway.
