“Dating Like A Goddess” honestly blew me away! As one of the privileged ARC readers I found it seriously empowering and relatable - this book isn’t just a dating guide, it feels like a pep talk from your best, most confident self. It retells goddess myths in a way that makes you want to own your worth, set boundaries, and never settle for less than you deserve.
But what amazed me most is how deep it goes. The book isn’t just about hype - it asks real questions about self-worth and healing, guiding you through emotional ups and downs with wisdom and clarity.

Dating Advice with a Mythological Twist – Brilliant!
As someone who has spent a lot of time exploring Greek mythology, I was genuinely excited to receive an ARC of "Dating Like a Goddess". Even though I’m not exactly part of the core audience for this book, I found myself completely drawn in. Timna De Volpi’s storytelling is fresh and engaging, weaving mythological tales into a modern narrative about dating, self-discovery, and empowerment. The way each goddess’s story was connected to today’s challenges felt both educational and surprisingly fun — and as a father of a young woman, I loved how it offered me a window into how this generation reflects on love and relationships.
What impressed me most was how the book never talks down to its readers — it feels more like a friend guiding you, not a lecture. And those final quizzes? Such a clever touch! This book is perfect for young women who want thoughtful dating advice wrapped in mythology — and for anyone curious about how timeless goddess stories can still spark reflection today.

I saw Dating Like A Goddess on my FYP when I just came out of my last relationship. I didn’t quite know what to expect, but I love greek mythology, and was looking for a pick-me-up, so why not?
Anyway, it turned out to be the best decision I’d made in a long time: Reading through Timna De Volpi’s retelling of myths I’ve known but never thought about what they really say about relationship dynamics made me see myself in a new light! I was so hooked I read it front to back in a single afternoon, but I already know I’ll reread some of the chapters when the time comes

I had the chance to read "Dating Like a Goddess", and I was truly surprised in the best way! Wonderfully written, authentic, and a real guide when it comes to dating.
The blend of Greek mythology with today’s dating world couldn’t have been done better. I’m already excited for more!

"Dating like a goddess" was a pretty good book, especially this being Timna's first book.
I think it had a good base but the writing left a lot to be desired. I think she tried to connect with the reader through some very modern words and expressions and sometimes it worked and others not so much.
All in all, I liked the book a lot, very excited for her next one!
