Book Two in the Rave to Ruin Duet

They call it relapse.
The part after the high, when the colors fade and the music dies—
when your body still aches for something it can’t have.

Blair knows what it feels like.
She should’ve walked away.
Should’ve left the overdose buried with the lies, the blood, the men who ruined her.

But the past doesn’t let go.
It claws back in.
With dark eyes and sharper hands. With two obsessions that were never finished with her.

This isn’t the comedown.
It’s the relapse.
And this time, survival won’t be enough.

Thank you so much to Nova Kane for the ARC!

Relapse pulled me in from the very first chapter honestly! After lovinggg Overdose, I was so excited to be back with Blaire, Noir and Dagger and there were plenty of moments that reminded me exactly why I became invested in their story in the first place.

For me, this one didn't quite reach the same level as Overdose. The story had some really strong highs that completely had me glued to the page, but I found myself connecting more deeply with certain parts than others. Even so, I was always eager to keep reading and see what was coming next.

&& can we talk about those twists near the end?!?! I knew something was coming and I'd started to suspect it might be heading in that direction, but I was still shocked when everything started unfolding. There were a couple of moments where I was sitting there thinking, wait!! WHAT?! It definitely caught me off guard and left me with a few questions, but in the best way because I immediately need to know more.

I also loved getting appearances from the Full Send crew. Seeing those characters pop up again was such a fun surprise and made the world feel even more connected!!

Relapse by Nova Kane

Please make sure you check your trigger and content warnings before reading this one.

Also reading Overdose is needed in order to read this book.

If you want a book full of betrayal, messy, and toxic this is the perfect one for you.

This book picks up where book one leaves off. Blair finds herself once again entangled with Noir and Dagger. She finds herself escaping the only way she knows how. Blair is back in the glitter and rave life and dealing with the two who she can't seem to get enough of. She doesn't come back and expect to get caught up in something more than she can handle.

The way that this toxic fueled relationship is going. It is just a never ending cycle. The way that Nori and Dagger made peace so they can come in and protect Blair. . I loved the banter between all of them because it just had me cracking up.

After finishing this I found myself because I couldn't even process what just happened. The way the cliffhanger had me questioning everything I thought I knew. Now I NEED book three like tomorrow.

Wow, just wow this book was amazing. To be honest anything nova writes is amazing but that ending!!!! What!!! I’m still reeling from it.

This book pulls you in from the start. If you thought the first book ending left you speechless this one will definitely have you staring at a wall.

Dagger and Noir still have me in a chokehold. They are so possessive and unhinged you can’t help but love them.

Blair is my girl!! I love her so much.

If you haven’t read this you need to now!!!!

4.5⭐️ Just like book one, I was completely hooked from the very first page. The vibes were once again absolutely immaculate, and somehow this book managed to pull me in even faster. I couldn’t put it down and was thinking about it every time I wasn’t reading.

One of my favorite things about the first book was getting all three POVs, and that continued to be a huge highlight here. Being inside everyone’s heads made the tension, jealousy, and chaos even more addictive. Dagger and Noir still have me in a chokehold 🫠 possessive, unhinged, and completely obsessed with Blair. And Blair? Still the absolute queen. Strong, hilarious, stubborn, and impossible not to root for.

I also loved the addition of Mina. Her friendship with Blair brought such a fun dynamic to the story and gave us some lighter moments between all the madness.

And can we talk about that ending?! Even after being blindsided by book one’s unconventional HEA, this book still managed to shock me. I caught one tiny piece of the twist before it happened, but the rest completely knocked me sideways. I was staring at the page wondering HOW I didn’t see it coming.

This series just keeps getting better, and honestly, I would’ve happily read another 200 pages with these characters

holy shit.. what the heck was that ending. I can’t even begin to describe what I’m feeling right now. I’m sobbing and I’m pissed off. I didn’t see any of this coming and I’m completely blown away. if you know me, you know dagger is my favourite, I absolutely love my unhinged man. I already need the third book because I need my answers. that ending didn’t leave me any less fucked up than the first book. I am actually so invested in this series and I need more. I can’t… I’m not okay but I’m also so invested love with this world.. my heart is broken but so full. it’s fucked! god damn I can’t even. thank you so much for the arc even tho you destroyed me yet again…

What do you mean?! WHAT DO YOU MEAN?! What am I supposed to do with my life now!!!!

Relapse was in fact a major relapse. Blair is back in Severance Point and back to her bad habits. I don’t want to say too much because you definitely have to read Overdose first, this is a continuation of Blaire, Dagger and Noir’s story. We do get a new character, Mina, who is absolutely adorable. She’s so happy and bubbly, and is always down for a good time, which causes problems for Dagger and Noir lol. I have no idea where the next book is going to go, but I will NOT stop thinking about this book until that time lol.

The last. Twenty. Pages. (Could really leave the review just like that because holy shit)

Absolutely love the ending even if it left me shattered with my jaw hanging on the floor. I am actually quite obsessed with these novellas. The drugs, rave, addiction with two very jealous and possessive men is my bread and butter.

Also, would love to note that the writing style and verbiage scratched my brain just right. Silly little lines and dark humor - my favorite!

This book consumed me, and completely blew my mind with that cliff hanger. Blair is the kind of FMC who keeps you invested from page one, she’s messy in the best way, fearless and not going to take sh*t from anyone - esp Dagger & Noir. Her sharp sense of humor, the banter between of them, the chemistry, everything was top tier. There was a constant feeling that no one was telling the whole truth, and just when I thought I had a grip on where the story was going, Nova Kane dropped a cliffhanger that completely changed everything I thought I knew and left me desperately needing the next book.

My mind is still reeling from that ending. Idk how to think. Omg. All I can say is I was always team Dagger so 🤪 Ugh how do I move on from this?? 😭

Blair is back and brought all her questionable decisions with her. I love how obsessive but protective Dagger and Noir are. Blair gives them all the sarcasm and I was here for it. The ending of this book threw me for a loop and I’m still not over it. I cannot wait to find out what happens next!

𝗕𝗬: 𝗡𝗢𝗩𝗔 𝗞𝗔𝗡𝗘

”Welcome to the club, babe. Population: me, emotionally unstable and making increasingly slutty decisions about it.

Nova really said y’all thought overdose was a wild, trippy, neon ride… well buckle up butter cup because this is worse but like in a hot way. We get more questionable Blair life choices, more emotional damage and of course more spice to make you melttttt.

ℂ𝕠𝕞𝕖 𝕒𝕡𝕒𝕣𝕥 𝕗𝕠𝕣 𝕞𝕖, 𝕝𝕚𝕥𝕥𝕝𝕖 𝕣𝕖𝕝𝕒𝕡𝕤𝕖.

Toxicity & hotness of Dagger and Noir should be studied, but like by me in case you find them wandering somewhere (you know it’s for research ;)). How two these two emotionally repressed men, covered in tattoos can simultaneously be walking red flags but dripping in sexual magnetism is a mystery that needs to be solved. Everything they did just made them hotter and maybe that’s a me problem but I don’t even care!

𝖣𝖺𝗀𝗀𝖾𝗋: "𝖨 𝗆𝗂𝗌𝗌𝖾𝖽 𝗒𝗈𝗎 𝗍𝗈𝗈, 𝗅𝗂𝗍𝗍𝗅𝖾 𝗋𝖾𝗅𝖺𝗉𝗌𝖾"

While it delivers neon lights, spice, partying and chaos, Nova also gives us darkness in this world. We get grief, addiction, betrayal and death, because this story has a dark underbelly. It’s emotional, messy and painfully beautifully, like the rave lights it trips you in the best way. But it’s also Nova, so of course it’s humorous and fun and has you begging for more.

The man really does stare at people like he’s deciding whether to kiss them or ruin their life. When it comes to me, it’s usually both

I loved the addition of Mina, Blair needed a sarcastic and wild friend to match her energy and Nova gave us just that. Their friendship helped alleviate the heavier moments of the story and it was a beautiful thing.

𝔹𝕒𝕕 𝕕𝕖𝕔𝕚𝕤𝕚𝕠𝕟𝕤 𝕣𝕖𝕒𝕝𝕝𝕪 𝕕𝕠 𝕥𝕣𝕒𝕧𝕖𝕝 𝕚𝕟 𝕡𝕒𝕔𝕜𝕤.

Overall, Nova once again made me fall into this world and not want to let go. I lived through these characters, laughing, sweating and feeling every painful moment. It was a journey that was too quick and I never wanted it to end, so I’ll be waiting for the next book with bated breath.

Relapse by Nova Kane absolutely body slammed me into emotional damage and then had the audacity to look hot while doing it.

Nova really said “you thought Overdose was chaotic? Hold my tequila.” Because WHAT WAS THAT ENDING??? Respectfully??? WTF??? Nova really threw a grenade into my brain and walked away. I finished this book staring at the wall like Blair after every questionable life choice.

“His eyes track me. Slow. Steady, like he’s not surprised. Like I’m his favorite fucking fix.”

EXCUSE ME??? Your honor, I folded immediately.

This book is literally enemies to enemies to horny to trauma bonding to enemies again and I ate up every single toxic second. Dagger and Noir are walking red flags covered in tattoos and emotional repression and somehow that made them hotter. Explain that to me.

Dagger saying, “I missed you too, little relapse,” actually rewired my brain chemistry. And Noir?? Sir???
“You think I forgot you? Forgot what you taste like? Sound like?”
LOCK HIM UP. IMMEDIATELY. Right after he says it again.

The banter in this book deserves its own award because Blair’s inner monologue had me CACKLING:
“Here she goes again, folks. Watch her make the same mistake twice—no, wait—bigger this time.”

Honestly Blair is me. Blair is all of us. A woman making terrible decisions because two sexy alphaholes exist.

And can we talk about the chemistry?? The spice?? THE SPICE JUST KEPT SPICING.
“Come apart for me, little relapse,” had me ascending into another dimension.

But underneath all the neon lights, partying, chaos and sexual tension thick enough to cut with a knife, this story is DARK. Addiction, betrayal, grief, death, it’s messy and painful and addictive in the best way possible. Nova somehow balances absolute emotional destruction with unhinged humor perfectly.

Mina was also SUCH a good addition. Blair desperately needed a bestie equally as chaotic and sarcastic to survive this nightmare. Their friendship was instantaneous, honestly carried some of the heavier moments and I loved every second of them together.

Also this line:
“There’s no reason one man should be allowed to look that good while simultaneously being that emotionally repressed.”
Blair, babe, YOU GET ME.

Relapse is exactly what the title promises, a full blown spiral back into Severance Point with toxic men, bad decisions, emotional damage, and enough sexual tension to power a small city. And honestly? I’d relapse too.

I need the next book injected directly into my bloodstream immediately.

I. Am. Speechless. That ending!! Excuse me?! Mind blown, again.

If Overdose was a wild, addictive ride, this second book took it up a notch. From the surface this book was full of glittering neon lights, partying and sparkle, but underneath it all was a heavier story full of addiction, betrayal and death. Messy, dark and chaotic in the best possible way.

Blair continued to be an amazing FMC. She came to Severance Point to disappear and to find answers, but got caught in something bigger and more dangerous. She is unhinged, badass character who doesn’t take shit from anyone. Her inner thoughts are hilarious and she made me laugh out loud multiple times. I really love her as a character and her character development.

The MMCs, Dagger and Noir were toxic and addictive, but so hot. The banter between Blair and especially Dagger was top tier. These three are so toxic together, but in the best possible way. And the spice just kept spicing.

Mina was a nice addition to the story. She seemed like a great friend and I loved how she matched Blair’s crazy. I loved the Full Send mentions and seeing some of the familiar characters from that series (if you haven’t read Full Send yet, go read it now!)

Nova really knows how to throw a great plot twist right at the end, because respectfully, wtf was that!? lol
I loved every second of this book and I need more like right now!

“You were literally just mad. Stay on that. Be mad. Be a bitch. Be difficult.”
“You two don’t get to decide what I can handle. And you definitely don’t get to play savior after dragging me into whatever the fuck that was, then disappearing like the world’s hottest witness protection program.”
“Thank you. I work very hard at making bad decisions selectively.”
“What’s the matter, little addict? Thought you wanted your memory refreshed.”

“The drugs were never the real problem. Because somewhere between the drugs, the chaos, and wrapping my arms around the exact men who nearly ruined me the first time, one deeply catastrophic truth settles in hard—this wasn’t just a relapse back into the pills. It was a relapse back into them too.”

Okay, I just know Nova puts actual crack in her books. This book had me hooked even quicker than book 1 (Overdose). I’m a huge huge fan of having the povs of all 3 main characters. The tension and jealousy? Had me squealing. I loved Dagger in book 1, and I fear I fell even more in love with him in book 2. Dark, broody, tattooed, and obsessed with our FMC? Sign me all the way up. And Nior? Who wouldn’t like a tattooed, emotionally traumatizing DJ?

Now let’s talk about our FMC Blair? I fucking LOVE her. Her inner dialogue is TOP TIER.

“Dagger shirtless should probably qualify as a controlled substance. Seriously.”

“Mad, Blair. Remember? Furious. Deeply betrayed. Not mentally stripping him in the middle of a parking lot like a raccoon digging through trash.”

Anytime she thought something I was cackling. I love a strong, fierce, and sassy FMC. The addition of Mina to the series was also another thing I love. The full send series cameo? 10/10. 👏🏻👏🏻 The plot of this series just keeps dragging me in deeper and I don’t want out. This world is dirty, chaotic, and filled with betrayal, grief, and addiction all trying to hide under neon lights.

THE ENDING HAD ME SCREAMING!!! Cause what do you mean?????????? I literally did not see it coming and I will never recover. 🤯😭😭

I absolutely cannot wait for the third book in this series.

As always Nova just absolutely fucking KILLED it.

Nova Kane made Severance Point feel so alive. The mix of rave culture, neon lights, dark romance, and gritty suspense created an atmosphere that was just as addictive as the story itself. 🖤

Blair had me STRESSED the entire book. 😭 Her inner monologue was pure chaos, and honestly... same. 😂 She'd convince herself something was a good idea while I was already sitting there thinking, "Girl... don't do it." She tested my patience every other chapter, but I loved her for it.

After everything she'd been through, I just wanted her to finally get the answers she'd been chasing. Finding out what really happened to Brynn made my stomach drop. I kept holding onto the same hope Blair did, so that reveal hit even harder.

Dagger and Noir... yeah, I get it. 🫠 These men had me questioning my morals right alongside Blair. They're walking red flags, emotionally unavailable, and somehow that just made them hotter. The tension between the three of them had me SAT.

I also loved getting more of Mina. She brought such a different energy to the story and was a nice contrast to how heavy everything else felt.

This duet had me staying up way later than I should've. The entire time I felt like everyone was hiding something. Every time I started connecting the dots, another twist would send me spiraling, and suddenly... that cliffhanger made me question everything I'd just read.

Nova Kane... explain yourself. 😭

How am I just supposed to move on after THAT?

The way everything shifted in those final pages had me immediately questioning everything I'd convinced myself was true. I finished the book and just sat there trying to process it all.

The wait for the next book is about to test my patience. 😂

The ending of Nova’s books always make my heart POUND 🥵🥴🥴🥴

Overdose was a 5⭐️ read for me so I was so excited to see Relapse was on its way with new characters ! This story was just as addicting and enthralling.

This book is, in fact, a Relapse. Coming back to Severance Point was the best worst idea Blaire ever had, and boy is she going to learn to regret becoming addicted to Dagger and Noir.
You instantly fall back into trouble with this fmc, knowing it will be a wild ride. Mina was just as toxic but twice as fun. She was bubbly and definitely something this story needed — a good girlfriend to get through all of this trauma with.

If one possessive alphahole wasn’t enough, here is two. You won’t be able to pick a favorite, that’s just how life goes when it comes to sexy tatted men who are addicted to you.

This book felt like constant enemies to enemies to ??? to enemies and I loved it. There were a few times where there were some discrepancies in actions or situations (clothes were already off but mentioned fabric again, things kept getting switched around) but this was a vibes read and I couldn’t care less, I ate it up anyway.

I don’t think it lived up to Overdose, but it was still a good little Relapse.

Overall
4 ⭐️
3 🌶️

Thank you so much to Nova and team for this advanced copy!

Raves, booze, drugs, drugs, and more drugs, and a twist that has you bleeding out all over the pages! This is a divine and addictive conclusion (???) to the Rave to Ruin duet with Blair and all that self-destruction she wears like armor spinning wildly out of control as she parties her way right back to Severence Point, Dagger and Noir calling a truce in the name of protecting Blair from a drug kingpin and herself, a new player on the scene, and the truth about her sister ripping your dang heart out.
The chemistry still burns bright and hot and the rave scene still spins around you in dizzying neon waves, but the story dives off into darker, heavier, and a lot more dangerous. Blair is a standout FMC as she drowns her grief, her hurt, and pretty much every other feeling with alcohol, drugs, and sex, the honest fear and burning need Dagger has to keep her safe and keep her alive is sexy and sweet and the perfect counterpoint to his obsessive need for her, Mina is a fantastic addition adding a little more insight to Brynne’s death and aiding and abetting all of Blair’s bad decisions, and Noir is literally the saying still waters run deep surprising you more than any other character in the book. With vibes that are vibing, a plot that sucks you straight down the rabbit hole with Blair, and some genuinely outstanding writing this is basically an epic must read novella!

5 freaking stars.
Arc review

I honestly wanted to write this whole elaborate crazy review being like 30 pages in. I devoured this so fast. I could not put it down it was one of the easiest 5 stars in a while!! Something was CONSTANTLY happening.

The reason why I am not going to write a whole insane review...simply because theres a giant plot twist. I am not going to ruin the wild time you would go through going in blind!!

This was crazy. This was dark. This was trippy. This was hot and this was a rollercoaster of emotions. Yes I did cry. No I dont feel ashamed.

Blair. Babe. You pissed me off, but I love you. You made horrible decisions but youre wild. I love this girl so much but I wanna knock her out LMAO. She was constantly keeping me on my toes. Wow. I was not expecting the stuff coming out of her mouth 90% of the time🤣🤣

Dagger.....run me over with your bike and I'll thank you😚 he was possessive and downright dirty. Man was addicted from the start and had no shame. Noir constantly teasing him and he was FERAL. He wanted his girl protected and did everything for her and kissed the ground she walked on😩💦

"Because youre not the problem, little addict. Youre the f*cking drug"

"I spent months trying to quit you. And the second you came back, I relapsed so hard I stopped pretending I even wanted to recover"

Thank you Nova for this earc🥹

I'm not sure what Nova puts in her books but everyone draws me in and keeps me hooked like an addiction.
Holy balls what the shit was that ending?! I'm not sure how I feel, that was a total holy shit wtf was that, like I am not alright.

“You’re a fucking problem.” “Yeah, but I’m your problem.”

Nova brings us back to Severance Point, where it all began with Blair looking for answers but finding herself caught up in something more dangerous then last time. Her sarcasm and whitty inner dialogue had me kicking and screaming.

"I keep giving her hell for relapsing while doing the exact same fucking thing myself."

Dagger and Noir are the total packaged deal, walking red flags wrapped in tattoos, possessiveness and jealousy. The chemistry was instant, the banter, the dirty mouths and the spice were top tier.
Mina was a wonderful addition to the chaos within, her charming and bubbly personality was a warm welcome.
This book is pretty wrapped in chaos, addiction, grief, betrayal, and toxicity. Its addictive, painful and messy in a beautiful way. Nova really knows how to emotionally damage her readers in the best ways and leaves them wanting more. Speaking of which we're all wanting book 3 now!!

I don’t even know where to unpack how I’ve just felt.
I’m sat questioning my own life choices.
Nova you threw that twist in like it was just a breath of fresh air.
I cannot, and I meant CANNOT, get over that.
How could you do this to us 😭😱

Blair is a chaotic ball of glitter and bad choices. But those choices, she doesn’t learn from and continue to push past the point.

Dagger, I have no words for him, and all the words.
I fell in love with him in Overdose, and I love him even more.
He may be the bad boy drug dealer biker with sexy tattoos and piercings to make your toes curl and eyes cross. But he’s also the guy you want by your side, fighting with you, for you.

Noir, wow so much to say.
I’m thinking if I even read it all right of if my own brain made it up, but nope, it’s right there in black and white with all the glitter, blood and twists.

There is so many times I laughed, mainly at Blair and her twitty come backs and comments.

Now I feel like I need 7-10 business days to allow my brain to catch up before I can fully process what happened.

But again, another fantastic book from Nova.

Thank you to Nova Kane for the ARC.

After giving Overdose 5 stars, I was excited to jump back into Blair’s story, and Relapse did not disappoint. Blair is still just as chaotic, impulsive, and frustrating as she was in book one, but honestly, that’s part of what makes her so entertaining to read.

What I loved most about this book was getting deeper into the mystery surrounding Blair’s sister while spending more time with Dagger and Noir. The tension between all three characters continues to be one of the strongest parts of the series, and their dynamic had me completely invested from start to finish.

I also really enjoyed the addition of a new character. I was nervous about the direction that storyline might take, but Nova Kane handled it in a way that worked well for the story and didn’t take away from the relationships I’d already become attached to.

This was a quick, addictive read that kept me engaged the entire time. Just when I thought I had things figured out, the story proved me wrong. Nova Kane definitely has a talent for ending her books in a way that leaves readers immediately wanting more.

If you enjoyed Overdose, you’ll absolutely want to continue this duet

Who’s ready for everyone’s favorite addiction.

“This wasn’t just a relapse back into the pills. It was a relapse back into them too.”

Dagger and Noir did not want to let her go last time. But they knew if she stayed she would stumble head first into danger while glitter covered her body and cyanide flowed through her veins.

“I spent months trying to quit you… and the second you came back, I relapsed so hard I stop pretending I even wanted to recover.”

Everything they did to protect her is crumbling now that she’s back. Decked out in holographic outfits and platform boots heavy enough to kill. But while she looks for her next thrill Dante’s men lurk in the corner waiting for their chance to take her out.

There is no better way to start a friendship than trauma bonding and that’s exactly how Mina and Blair’s unbreakable bond begins. Mina was friends with her sister before she died and instantly became attached to Blair.

Nova Kane did not disappoint. I love this book. Watching Blair connect with someone who knew her sister and finally getting answers to some of her burning questions. But that ending though. OMG… I need more answers. Like yesterday.

Nova Kane really said, "You thought Overdose wrecked you? Hold my drink."

This book is dark, messy, emotional, and completely addictive. From the very first chapter, I was hooked and unable to put it down. The tension, the secrets, the betrayals, and the emotional turmoil had me questioning everything right alongside the characters.

What I loved most was how Nova Kane peeled back every layer of these characters. Nobody is innocent, nobody is perfect, and somehow you still find yourself rooting for them. Blair's journey was heartbreaking and powerful, and watching everything unravel while old wounds were ripped back open kept me glued to the pages.

The chemistry? Toxic in the best way. The obsession? Top tier. The emotional punches? Absolutely brutal. Every reveal had me gasping, every twist had me turning pages faster, and by the end I was left staring at the wall trying to process everything.

If you love dark romance with morally gray characters, obsession, emotional devastation, and a story that keeps you guessing until the very end, Relapse is a must-read. Nova Kane continues to prove why she's one of my auto-read authors.

and to no surprise, another month and another nova read I absolutely DEVOURED.

to be back with my favorite broken disco ball, the hottest dj and a sexy, overprotective drug dealer?! I found myself in heaven once again with the rave to ruin series - not only that.. but once again another MIND FCKKKK

and that’s exactly what keeps me obsessed with nova

forever on the edge of my seat
gnawing at the bars of my enclosure
asking why the fck am I loving this so much?
feral again
and falling deeper in love with the messy characters that I definitely have no business loving {or do I?😏}

and then when I think I can’t love this world, these characters, more…

we get graced with the presence of another fine ass dj.. and not only do we get to meet mina.. but a lil full send cameo?!!!

I could go on.. and on.. and on.. and probably ON, about my love for nova and this series but I’ll leave you with this..

just go read it.
go feral.
play the playlist.
obsess with me..
feel emotions you didn’t think would hit you..

all because, baby.. this isn’t the comedown, it’s a straight up relapse 🥵

Please before you read this check your trigger warnings, but if you read Nova Kane, you know she is a dark author who writes amazing stuff.
Now before you read this book you have to read Overdose, because Relapse picks up where it left off.
If you want a book that has betrayal, Toxic, and chaotically messy this is the perfect duet.
Like I said this book picks up were overdose left off, and Blair finds herself once again mixed up with Noir and Dagger. Blair escapes the only way she knows how. Blair is back to her rave life and entangled with the two possessive men she can’t get out of her system. The way these guys relationship is never ending cycle is mind-blowing.
I absolutely loved how Noir and Dagger did make peace and come together to save Blair. As much as they can’t stand each other, I genuinely think they care for her no matter what.
The banter with this trio is spot on and absolutely hilarious. The cliffhanger is killing me cause the ending was why Nova did you do us like that. I can’t wait for the next book and more of Noir I love that possessive man. Plus, I love me Blair she a Bada$$ in her own right.

🪩 Relapse by Nova Kane 🪩

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ || 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️

“Sometimes we love the things that hurt us, and sometimes we are the thing that hurts us. Sometimes no matter how bad it is for us… we go back anyway.”

🫪🤯 After the crazy ending that Overdose had, i didn’t know what to expect with Relapse.. but that ending WAS NOT WHAT I EXPECTED.. I have so many questions!? 😩 But whaaaaaaat! So so so good! I loved this book!

I love how the book - from all POV’s - are literally like being inside of the characters heads, moreso than usual. Like the inner dialogue and thoughts - i loved it.

When Dagger & Noir find their ways back into Blair’s life after the events of Overdose, trying to protect her and keep her safe is NOT as easy as it seems. She races harder than ever, and this time it’s with her new bestie, Mina, by her side. But when the past starts closing in on the trio, will Blair listen to Dagger & Noir’s warnings and follow their lead? Or will trouble be closer than they ever expected?

We’re back after that jaw-dropping cliffhanger in Overdose, and Blair is in fine form as usual 😅. I absolutely adore her character. Her internal monologue and razor-sharp sarcasm had me cackling/spiraling the entire time, even when some seriously intense stuff was going down.

These books are fast-paced, entertaining, and packed with suspense—an absolute adrenaline rush from start to finish. The addition of Mina to the chaotic trio is perfection 👌🏽.

The action, twists, and banter kept me completely hooked, and once again I flew through this book. That ending has me desperate to pick up the next one because I need to know what happens next! 📚🔥

What to expect:
💜 ʜᴀᴛᴇ sᴇx
🌴 ᴘᴏssᴇsɪᴠᴇ, ғɪʟᴛʜʏ ᴍᴍᴄs
💜 ʟᴏᴠᴇ ᴛʀɪᴀɴɢʟᴇ ᴛᴜʀɴᴇᴅ ᴛʜʀᴏᴜᴘʟᴇ
🌴 ʟᴜsᴛ ɪɴ ᴅᴀɴɢᴇʀᴏᴜs ᴘʟᴀᴄᴇs
💜 ғᴜʟʟ sᴇɴᴅ ᴄᴀᴍᴏ
🌴 ʀᴏᴜɢʜ ʜᴀɴᴅʟɪɴɢ
💜 "ʏᴏᴜ'ʀᴇ sᴀғᴇʀ ᴡɪᴛʜ ʙᴏᴛʜ ᴏғ ᴜs."

Blurb:
They call it relapse. The part after the high, when the colors start to fade and the music dies. Blair should’ve walked away. But the past doesn’t let go- and neither do the men who ruined her. This isn’t the comedown. It’s the Relapse.
