~ ARC review ~
This was about a 30 minute read for me, but it was good. Going into books like this, you know it’s 90% smut and thats exactly what you get. There is still a little bit of plot in there but not much. These characters met each other a year ago and this is their anniversary. Despite there not being much plot, you can still tell that the MMC really cares for the FMC with what he planned and how he acts with her. The smut was written really well. Wish there would’ve been a bit more told about their backstory, but for a short story i get that thats not delved into too much.

Do you love Halloween? More specifically, the scare actors with their masks? Then you need to start this series!! Book 1, helps hayride was insane but book 2? OBSESSED!
Hells chase follows on from book 1 where we met Luke and Lydia briefly! But god I loved this snippet of them two still together a year later! Now girls I know we love a dark haired mmc but Luke is making me start to really consider blondes 😉
Also? I’m a sucker for a book with primal play, and we definitely have a chase/hunt in this book 😉 this is another novella I’ve had the chance to arc read and I’m truly here for these short spicy books, because the spice is burning and well, let’s just say it is getting hotter as each book in the series comes 😉

I was lucky enough to receive this as an ARC read, and Im so glad I did! This was Lydia and Luke’s story - Luke is the masked scare actor that Lydia met in the first book Hell’s Hayride when she’s separated from her friend Raiven.
I don’t want to give away any spoilers but if you’re looking for a great Halloween vibe read then look no further. This is 5⭐️ and 4🌶️. There’s not much plot but there is a good amount of smut!

If you love Halloween and are looking for a smut-filled quick read, this is for you! Luke and Lydia’s story was quick but surprisingly sweet! I loved that you can get to know the character’s personalities despite the short read. I do wish we could have seen a bit of their first interaction that happened in the first book, but overall this is a great short read! I highly recommend reading book 1 first for clarity of where this begins, but they’re both great so it’s a win-win!

I loved this short story it is a 10/10.
This story follows the story of the first book but focuses on Lydia and Luke. They returned to Hells Hilltop one year after their first meeting celebrating their anniversary.
This book is mostly smut ( solid 90%) and if you love that you will love this story. Luke chases Lydia through the woods like the first night they met, and We all know what happens if he catches her !

Ugh I wish these were longer! This lived up to the expectations from book 1. Short, sweet (actually spicy) and to the point! Just like in book 1, for a novella this was jam packed with all the spice and action. There is more story in this one so you get a better glimpse at the character personality as opposed to book 1. Loved it!

The couple argues a little bit too much for my taste nut but I think thats characteristic of a couple thats been together a year. The book is fast paced, smutty and distinguishable from the first book in the series without suffering too much from second book syndrome, though I did like the first book a little better.

I can never not love Lola's writing. Lydia is so witty and so bratty and Luke is funny, cocky, but caring and them together is an amazing match. My favorite part is the after care because it reminds me of my bf.
