I thought I was safe. I was wrong.
Sheltered, homeschooled, and kept far from the outside world, I grew up under the watchful eye of my father, Big Terry-a man who gave me everything... until he took it all away.
I never knew my mother. I never had real friends. The only people I could trust were my older brother EJ and my cousin Johnny-until the day I vanished. Meeting Davis Stone was the first time I felt alive. He was dangerous, mysterious, and everything my father warned me to stay away from. But loving him came with risks. So did keeping secrets. When I was kidnapped, I didn't know who to be more afraid of-the strangers who grabbed me, or the man who raised me. What I uncovered shook everything I believed about my family, my past... and myself.
This is where my story starts. And not everyone gets a happy ending.

Lost and Found by Kenni Rae were a ride. Think mafia/gang energy with a side of family secrets and chaos.

In Lost, Camille goes missing and Johnny’s desperate to find her. Along the way, he meets Sarah, but the real jaw-drop moment is when you find out where Camille’s been and who’s keeping her.

Then Found comes in and completely ups the game. Enter Davis <3 (my absolute swoon-worthy fave). Camille really steps into her power here …her grit, her fire, her strength. She owned every page, especially when she confronts her keeper! The trauma is heavy, and the books don’t shy away from that, but I loved how they showed healing, found family, and just… surviving day by day.

The first book ends on a cliffhanger, and the second delivers twist after twist before finally giving us those (mostly) happy endings… at least for some (looking at you, Dad 👀). The tension doesn’t let up till that final concluding moment!

Writing-wise, book two definitely leveled up from book one. You can see the author’s growth, which I loved. My only tiny note is it repeated itself a few times (lots of “recapping” moments), but overall, the detail and character depth completely pulled me in.

Davis + Camille? Obsessed.
The whole series? Dark, detailed, emotional, and surprisingly hopeful.
