Popularly referred to as the Grandmaster of Storytelling, Precious Osikha (Precious Pen) began writing as a child, with her earliest storytelling memories dating back to age eight. However, her mother insists she actually started at six, and recent proof suggests she might be right. She still keeps her childhood journals and diaries, serving as reminders of her early passion for writing. Born and raised in Edo State, Nigeria, she is a versatile and innovative writer known for her ability to write across multiple genres, including romance, thriller, fantasy, children's literature, and nonfiction. She is also known for seamlessly blending themes within her works. Her stories explore themes such as cultural diversity, identity, social issues, and social injustice, all wrapped in compelling narratives that keep readers on the edge of their seats. She is a legal practitioner and the founder of Precious Pen Kreations, Africa's number one writing brand for professionals, celebrities, and leaders across the globe. “Just when you think you’ve figured it out, Precious Osikha says……. plot twist!”
I thought Book 1 was chaotic and packed with tension, but Book 2? It did not hold back. Fights, betrayals, shocking character returns (some I thought were long gone), and yes, some deaths that lowkey gave me peace 😅 (don’t judge me).
Zufan is a firecracker and such a refreshing character! Maya’s growth is so beautiful to watch, she’s really coming into her own and I’m living for it. The plot twists in this series had me gasping out loud, and I honestly believe Precious Osikha deserves an award for it.
No time to waste, I’m diving straight into Book 3🔥📚
This one was a whole new level for me. I didn’t see Zufan’s part coming at all, and Dankarai shocked me even more. I hated him in Book 1, but I ended up loving him in Book 2. The author really knew how to play with my emotions.
My favourite character was Yonas, also known as Chief Moyo.
My favourite scenes were all of Zufan’s moments and the fight scenes.
I especially enjoyed every scene between Dankarai and Zufan. It may seem off or morally questionable, but I loved it. Low-key, I was wishing and rooting for them to end up together, or at least hoping Dankarai wasn’t the King’s son.
I'm speechless. The Wall, The Flower, and The Petal is a masterpiece. Precious Osikha's writing is flawless, and the story is both captivating and unforgettable. I'll be recommending this book to everyone!
This book is a game-changer! The pacing is perfect, the characters are well-developed, and the plot is both shocking and thought-provoking. Precious Osikha has set a new standard. This is more than a 5 star rating!
I had no idea I'll love book 2 as much as book 1 but yet I did, just when I thought I Maya might just be my fave character, I meet Zufan. This series is addictive and now I'm itching for book 3. Prince Dankarai still remains my absolute worse,. I guess I have no redemption for him.
The twists and turns in this book are so remarkable and memorable. The suspense had me holding on for dear life. The power play in this book is something out of a political thriller. And the love story gets swoony even in the middle of a coup. This book is a brilliant work of art.
This is the second time I’m reading this book and I still stand by my opinion that this tetralogy is a big one! I love how this book focused on the story of new characters and also other characters that were not really explored in the first book.. I can’t wait to read 3
I didn't expect to like Book 2 so much. Dankarai and Zufan's blooming affair is what I didn't see coming. It didn't feel cringy even though it ought to be (trying to avoid spoilers of the story). Love how better this book is in the series.
When I saw the petal added to the existing title, I asked myself: who is this again? Could it be a rival to their love? But reading through, I was amazed at what it really meant and it actually made perfect sense.
This book is a work of art. The descriptions are vivid, the action scenes are intense, and the plot is expertly woven. Precious Osikha has set a new standard for storytelling.
I first beta read this book back in 2023, and at that time I said it was my best after book 1. Coming back to read it again now, it was just as refreshing maybe even more, because I could see the details I missed before.
The story picks up with Zufan, a girl full of fire and boldness, walking straight into the dangers of Hamazar Palace. She is brave, but the palace is not a place that forgives easily. Watching her journey kept me hooked.
At the same time, Maya and Khari’s return felt like a miracle. I loved how their love is tested again and again, not just by personal struggles but also by the weight of traditions and politics. The tension is real you keep wondering if their love can survive in such a world.
This sequel is not just about romance. it’s about survival, defiance, and hope in a place that tries to crush all of it. The suspense, the danger, and the heart, etc.
For me, book 2 lived up to the promise of book 1, and that’s not easy for a sequel to do. It’s bold, emotional, and unforgettable.
