I have know John for a while. We went to the same high school. I picked up his book at a local coffee shop while visiting my family for thanksgiving. It’s funny because he writes similarly to the way he speaks. This book has provided great insight on the machinations of John’s mind.
Upon opening the book, my eyes were assaulted with double-spaced Times New Roman. The sentences weren’t even spaced correctly. It seemed like I was reading a free-verse poem rather than a novel with paragraphs and structure. I would never have imagined this manuscript went through the hands of an editor; until he mentions her—Janice. She failed to even notice the most obvious grammar mistakes. Fire her please.
