Super excited to read this one as it’s my first book filled with drama.

Okay, no one judge for how long it took me to finish this book. I was caught in a slump!

Anyway, this one started off very strong for me. I love how it deals with grief and trauma. Also, I appreciate how each of these girls have a story to tell and I genuinely can’t wait to read their book soon.

Focusing on the whole plot itself, it was kind of a hit or miss. There were points that didn’t feel right to me but there were also a great deal of moments were I found it so sweet and endearing. I honestly found the beginnings of Grant and Eva’s dynamic odd in a sense that there’s literally someone else and somehow, they’re just both fine with it? Maybe it’s the cultural differences with me because I would never. LOL

But hello?! I’m rating this book 4 stars because of that goddamn ending. I know ends on a cliffhanger (spoiler alert!) but I love the thrill of waiting for the next book on what’s to come.

I enjoyed the characters and definitely became invested in them. I like the realism of the characters and their stories. Life is messy and complicated, even for young college students and Hannah definitely nails it. You can love and hate a character in the sane chapter. This is my favorite book of hers so far.

Absolutely adore this book and the characters! Built to Fall was such a wild rollercoaster of emotions, and I fell in love with this universe! Grant and Lina are such complex, messy, and very real characters. They felt relatable in a lot of ways and often at times I wanted to give them a big hug!

I was immediately intrigued by Lina, because of her tragic history. Peeling back different layers of he was very satisfying, because I was able to understand more about her character and motivations. She is incredibly intelligent, independent, and was a bit closed off at times. But once she truly lets someone in, she gave them her all.

And Grant! Wow. He is so complex and often times I wanted to scream at him because I was like SIR WHAT. But he honestly is such a good guy and a golden retriever of a man. He also has such a rich history, and it was rewarding finally seeing his true self. What I absolutely adored about him was how much of a caretaker he is at his core and how much he deeply cares for Lina.

THE ENDING. I need the next book now. The author is also incredibly lovely and I absolutely adore her!
