Honey Singh and Cara Espinoza have two things in Their despicable, odious, lying spouses are having an affair, and they need a vacation.

They take a road trip, filming their adventures and posting them online to prove to everyone back home that they’re fine—not heartbroken and not staying home grief-eating cartons of ice cream. What better way to make a new friend than late nights and long drives? As their heartbreak takes a back seat to healing, they realize that they want more from each other than just conversation. Passion and friendship are a potent combination, but a seemingly small secret could end their romance before it truly begins.

Set against the backdrop of ever-changing landscapes and starlit skies, Anywhere with You is full of hope and humor, a second chance at love, searching for aliens, hooking up in nature, and avoiding dangerous wildlife (most of the time).

Heartfelt, emotional, and so so adorable!
I really thought this was a great story and I just love the road trip vibes.

This follows Honey and Cara, two women who are going through divorces after their spouses cheated on them.
To get out of a slump (and to make their exes jealous), Cara proposes that they go on a road trip together, from their home in Texas to the California Redwoods.
Through countless hours in a car together, shared hotel rooms, and running for their lives in the Arizona desert- they develop unexpected feelings for each other.
Things take a turn for the worst when Honey discovers that Cara knows something about their former spouses that she doesn’t.
Now they must either make amends or accept that their road trip fling was only temporary.

This was incredibly fun.
I always love a story with a traveling theme!
We get to see the main characters grow and develop so much, which is always a huge win for me.

Honey and Cara were so compatible! I was so rooting for them.
The slow burn was actually hurting me. I was desperate for them to finally get together.
When they got together? Oh so good.
When they fought? Oh so devastating.

There is an emotional aspect to this story, of course.
Given the fact that it is about cheating spouses, both main characters are on a healing journey and discuss a lot of things pertaining to their struggles and past marriages.
They are so kind and supportive to each other though. They gave each other a real shoulder to cry on and that was beautiful.
Cara’s journey was particularly special to me.
She talks about how she wanted to go on the road trip to embrace her new-found independence- something that she never had previously. I thought this was so cute and I felt so connected to her in that moment.

This was just so touching overall.
A beautiful story, beautifully written.

Honey and Cara are friendly towards each other, but not exactly close friends. When their spouses walk out on them to be with each other instead, a months-long affair comes to light. Feeling betrayed and angry, Honey and Cara decide to go on a much-needed vacation. Screw those cheating bastards. What’s the plan? Honey and Cara go on a road trip to take a break from the stress and mess that are their lives now. They’ll share their adventures on social media and show their exes that they’re doing fan-fucking-tastic.

So, from UFO museums and gas station stops, to holding hands and the possibility of something more. Honey and Cara have quite an adventure and grow close. So much so that the smiles and laughs aren’t just for the reels that their exes may or may not see, but for them. And maybe, just maybe, they are the adventure.

A must-read! There were many laugh-out-loud moments from beginning to end, and I was pleasantly surprised. I honestly thought that I might laugh once or twice, but I was wrong. I laughed way more than that and my cheeks hurt from smiling so damn much.

It wasn’t all fun and games though, because there were some serious topics where I got teary-eyed. The reflection on their marriages, the vulnerability they showed, and how they supported each other in those moments made me emotional. The relationship hit a bump in the road, got a flat tire, took a wrong turn, if you will, that I did not see coming, but I felt like it was needed. Overall, I loved it and highly recommend giving it a read. So grab some snacks and make a playlist because this was an epic adventure.

It was so romantic! So heartwarming. Sigh. Two lonely souls discover that their spouses have cheated on them with each other and are now showing this love publicly on social media.

I really liked the road trip part, it was so much fun. I liked the humor, the banter. I giggled so often. It felt so light and just put me in a good mood. The slow development of a connection between Cara and Honey was very beautiful, cautious, tentative, and then there was this great longing. Unfortunately, the novel was only written from Honey's point of view... I would have loved to know Cara's thoughts in some scenes. Especially when they got closer.

Of course, it wasn't all fun, there were some sad parts too. I had tears in my eyes. I found the book very reflective in terms of Honey and Cara's marriages. That really rounded out the character development. It was a good mix of fun and sadness. Ohhh and the spice... wow! I won't forget that anytime soon. The book was really fun and I highly recommend it!

Thank you to Netgalley for the ARC!

This is a story with a strange premise: it's a road trip about two women who were dumped by their partners, and those exes are now dating each other. The reason is that the husband of one and the wife of the other have known each other since they were young. They've always had a very strong friendship, which ultimately led them to leave their spouses, who never saw it coming.

After their partners leave them, one from a heterosexual relationship and the other from a queer relationship, they feel abandoned and lost. They didn't see it coming and now have no idea what to do.So when one woman proposes to the other that they take a road trip in response to how happy their exes look in their social media posts, they don't think twice and decide to make their own posts too.

The journey they're on is both physical and emotional. The situations they find themselves in are funny, some of them because of how surreal they are. But little by little, they leave behind the sadness of being abandoned by their partners and realize that maybe they needed this breakup because they were comfortable and had settled for situations that didn't completely fulfill them.

I absolutely loved the two protagonists, for real. My only slight issue was with how Honey reacted during the most tense part of the trip. On one hand, her reaction makes sense, but on the other, it doesn't seem to align with the conclusions she had been reaching after reflecting on her situation.

Overall, it was a worthwhile read.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4 stars)

I really adored this story, and honestly, the premise is what hooked me from the start. Two women are both left by their spouses…who end up dating each other. To cope with the heartbreak, they decide to go on a road trip together and post about it online. What starts as a cover-up for their pain slowly becomes something real: first a friendship, and then something more. It’s such a clever setup, and it worked perfectly here.

I especially loved getting Honey’s perspective. The way her character was written made her feel so real, layered, and relatable. Cara was also a delight, even when she made a questionable decision or two, she stayed so sweet, kind, and just downright huggable throughout the book (yeah I wanted to hug her so many times haha).
Their dynamic had me completely hooked.
The story itself struck a great balance: funny, romantic, and even a little spicy in all the right moments. It was such an addictive read that I flew through it in a single day because I just couldn’t put it down. Besides, the road trip aspect added so much charm and energy to the book, keeping things engaging the whole way through.

The writing is easy to follow, and the pacing is strong. My only small wish is that we’d gotten Cara’s POV as well, but aside from that, this is a solid, heartwarming, and really enjoyable read.

I picked this one up because the plot totally grabbed me — two women find out their spouses cheated on them with each other, so they hit the road to prove they can be happy without them… and somewhere along the way, they fall in love. Tell me that’s not a great setup!

I’ll admit, I’m usually not big on road trip romances. For some reason, I tend to struggle getting into them. But Anywhere With You surprised me in the best way. It felt like so much more than just a romance — it was a heartfelt, beautifully put-together love story. I loved that the author really took her time building Honey and Cara’s relationship. Their connection and chemistry felt so natural, and I adored the way they slowly let their walls down with each other. The intimacy was paced just right, and I also loved how each of them went on their own journey of self-discovery along the way. By the end, they felt like real, relatable people I could root for.

That said, I didn’t connect with the story quite as deeply as I wanted to — so maybe this is just one of those times where I’m the odd one out.

But honestly? If you loved Here We Go by Alison Cochrun, I think this will be right up your alley. Definitely worth a read!

Thank you Netgalley and Bold Strokes Books, Inc. for the book!!

Heartfelt, emotional, and beautiful 🩷
Both Cara and Honey were instantly likable, and their character development was absolutely flawless. I loved watching them heal, grow as individuals, and find each other, both on their own and together. While the romance was wonderful, the story offered so much more! Heartfelt moments, important life lessons, and empowering self-discovery. The road trip vibe was spot on and the touches of humor added the perfect balance.

I already miss them. This was a great read!!!

Honey Singh is married to Bridget and Cara Espinoza is married to Lorenzo. Bridget and Lorenzo are best friends and they ended up cheating on their spouses and got together with each other. This left Honey and Cara licking their wounds. They ended up taking a road trip together; mainly because they needed a break and also to make mesmio reels to show their exes that they too are having fun in life. Until they started to have feelings for each other.

I love road trips and there are certainly not enough of those stories going around. The main characters are both lovely. It was really nice hearing about their stories as they got to know each other. However, I did find the romance a little bit quick considering they are still getting over a broken marriage.

This whole story is told from Honey’s point of view. I would have preferred to have it from both POV. The road trip part is good and the people they met along the way. Still worth the read!

would like to thank netgalley and the publisher for letting me read this inspiring book

when honey found out about her wife cheating she was devasted... she hadnt seen it coming.... but the fact that she cheated on her with their best friend was something else

when cara approached honey about their cheating spouses honey wasnt exactly friendly towards her and realising her mistake honey went to caras home to apologise

that cara was to suggest they went on a road trip themselves to show the world and their cheating ex partners that they themselves were ok was greeted by honey as a very good idea

and off they went videoing their experiences and as they spent more time with each other and spoke of things ...healing began to happen and maybe a little bit of attraction started.....

wow i loved how the author pulled me right into this storyline.... loved honey and caras characters each hurt but needing each other to heal it was a well thought out storyline that makes me want to go on a road trip now....

looking forward to seeing what else this author can produce next

When Honey and Clara discover that their spouses are having an affair, they decide to go on a road trip, filming their adventures to prove to everyone that they are doing fine and are not heartbroken. Soon enough sparks begin to fly but when a secret is revealed, is it important enough that it extinguishes the sparks before the romance has even begun?

Whilst the beginning I felt was a little slow, once I got into it and the plot the developed, it was hard to put down. I loved how charming this love story was and the development of both characters.

Overall, this was an enjoyable read that I would recommend to readers who are looking for something easy and most definitely sapphic! As this was Gylnn’s debut novel, I look forward to seeing what is to come in the future.

This book was a lovely, heartfelt and fun sapphic road trip book with likeable main characters and and a beautifully developed romance set almost a backdrop of heartbreak and natural wonder.

Honey and Cara have so much in common, more than just their exes and childhood friends who run off with one another, and they realize along a road trip meant to make their exes jealous of their newfound solo happiness, that things had been missing in both of their lives for so long and they didn’t even notice. It took a trip with one another to realize how much time they wasted trying to make things better for their partners when they should have giving themselves far more grace and in discovering that, they also found newfound respect and appreciation for one another.

I liked this book a lot and while I don’t think every contemporary romance needs a dual POV narrative, I think this book would have benefited from one given both women were truly in the same boat re: their relationships ending due to infidelity and their partners getting together. Anywhere with You is told from Honey’s perspective and while I really loved her voice as a character and felt her internal monologue was incredibly strong, the book was just as much about Cara. I liked them together and their banter and chemistry was really great right from the get go but I think given the severity of the situation; the infidelity on both sides and the discovery of who these women are as individuals outside of their marriages, Cara deserved her own side of the story given her life was unraveling alongside Honey’s.

Overall, this was a cute and quick read that I would definitely recommend if you’re looking for something about starting over and the noticing something that’s been right in front of you all along.

A huge thank you to NetGalley, Bold Strokes Books and author Margo Glynn for this ARC opportunity. I’m very happy to share my honest review.

The cover of this book captured my attention immediately. I love bold colors and adorable artwork! It was honestly just super cute and eye-catching. I was further intrigued by the blurb. Spouses cheat and then the jilted spouses find unexpected solace in one another? Sign me up!

I was very excited at the premise of this book and was eager to read it! My expectations were kind of high going into this read and they were most certainly met…and exceeded. There is an overwhelming theme of hope and finding enduring happiness in this book. Hopeful optimism is written into both of our lovely main characters and I feel like it permeates every scene. This was such a sweet and special story. I have read other stories that dealt with infidelity, a delicate topic, and though there were happy endings, this was different. I’ve never read a story where the scorned spouses found love in each other! So good!

Honey and Cara are a couple of sweet and lovely ladies with an unfortunate thing in common, their spouses are cheaters. In fact, their spouses had a long affair and have run away together! Geesh, talk about getting kicked in the heart. But these two resilient, fascinating, strong and overall badass chicks look at the glass as half full. They decide to embark on a cross country road trip from Texas to California in an effort to prove that they are healed and not heartbroken. While that may not be entirely true at the start, it definitely is and the end. They take a chance on life, on themselves and on each other. They head out on this momentous trip of healing and rehabilitation and get so much more than they bargained for. Somewhere between the sights, the road, the adventure, a video shared on their socials and just experiencing the beauty of the road and landscapes they find real friendship and eventually so much more.

The writing is humorous, uplifting , deep and memorable. I feel like each word is chosen carefully with this author and that makes each word precious to me. Glynn carefully creates a story and characters that I grow to truly care about. The premise was emotional to begin with but the follow up is light hearted, warm, deep and gratifying. The road trip aspect was fun and created a whimsical and novel environment for our ladies to find inner peace and outward growth. Through museum tours or just desert driving, our ladies were finding joy! And that made me a happy reader! I really liked Cara and Honey. They got under my skin and into my heart. They are both really special, complex and flawed people. They are written realistically and I feel like I’d be friends with them in real life. They have both been betrayed and hurt by the most important people in their lives but they refused to be jaded. They are so kind and open to each other. They grow quite close along their adventure and develop a real connection from their obvious chemistry. They have fun together! It’s a joy to share their journey of healing, self empowerment and love.

There was so much humor in this book. I often found myself smiling from ear to ear or busting up laughing. That is such a unique and underrated quality in romance novels that deal with infidelity as this is a more serious subject matter. The humorous aspect was a wonderful surprise and a testament to the author’s writing ability. Okay so, it's not all fun and adventure…there is a hidden secret and a bit of derailment…but such is life. I really don’t want to give away specifics because it will ruin the reading experience but suffice it to say that our ladies certainly have a bit of a detour in the road trip. Again, this author has created wonderful characters that handle things with grace. I never felt that they didn’t genuinely care for each other, even from the beginning and that is special.

This book is kind of a testament to that famous Rollong Stones lyric “You can’t always get what you want, but if you try sometimes, you might find, you get what you need.” Cara and Honey certainly did not want to be cheated on and for their marriages to disintegrate but they were brave, strong and resilient. They embraced the difficulty of their situation and did so together. They chose to embrace what life could be if they chose themselves…and eventually chose each other. They may not have initially gotten what they wanted but try they did and they definitely got what they needed. They needed to heal and to feel good about themselves and to feel appreciated. It was wonderful to watch Honey and Cara find what they truly need along their journey. It was supremely satisfying to watch them fall in love and get what they truly wanted in each other. These two were so good together and that was particularly evident in their intimate moments. The author handles the spicy scenes with a touch of humor, sweet sensitivity and delightful spice. I always prefer there to be romantic moments and streamy aspects in any romance story and so I greatly appreciated the spicy bits!

This is a sweet and satisfying slow burn sapphic romance. I was moved to tears, urged to laugh and truly enjoyed every page. This was a wonderful feel good story and I will look for more by this author. I absolutely recommend it!

This book set out to entertain me with razor-sharp banter, make me snort-laugh, and then starve me with a slowly simmering romance. Honey Singh and Cara Espinoza have a lot in common with cheating spouses and a mutual need to escape. They hop in the car, hit the road, document their every hilarious move online, and end up with sparks that feel totally worth the wait.

The constant shifting scenery, wild antics (did someone say alien spotting and being chased by wild animals?!), and candid late night car conversations kept the pace moving. Underneath all that chaos is an undeniable warmth and growing connection that feels honest and cozy even when things are messy.

If you love snappy dialogue, adventures in nature, and a relationship that builds slowly but meaningfully, this is your perfect book escape!

Disclaimer: I received a free copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

With such a tough topic as cheating and divorce, I was expecting a more somber tone for this one, and was pleasantly surprised to find some of the funniest dialogue I've read in a while. This book covers those tough topics in a lighthearted and refreshing way, focusing on healing and moving forward for both our characters, instead of dwelling too much on the past.

I really liked the dynamic between Cara and Honey. Their adventure was so much fun to read about, and I loved that they both got a chance to find happiness again.

There were a few parts I was hesitant about, namely the secret Cara was hiding and whether had I been in a similar situation if I could've forgiven her. As well, there were times I felt the relationship might have been too fast. However, the book is focused more on looking to the future, so I can understand how the characters were eager to leave the past behind and move on.

Overall, this is a funny, sweet book about the ending of a relationship and finding new happiness through adventure and unexpected romance. 4.5/5 stars rounded up!

This book was such an emotional ride, to follow Honor and Cara from utter devastation, felling so betrayed to something so inspiring when they process everything and find a way to move on. The whole idea to ride off on an adventure to show their cheating exes and everyone else that they are happier than ever on social media via reels is brilliant. There are so many moments in the book that are so awesome and inspiring. They are so sweet together and hilarious at time when they get to know each other, share their feelings and past experiences and go from friends to something way more than that.

As a reader you just feel you need to finish the book in one sitting to make sure Honor and Cara can get over their exes, see what they have in front of each other and getting over some additional bumps on the way to a potential amazing future together. I highly recommend beautifully written book!

It doesn’t always happen but I instantly felt connected to the two main characters. They felt real and the way their emotions and growing relationship was written was so well done.

It was a good slow burn with the characters learning about themselves and each other throughout the book. It’s definitely a book I will return to reread.

Margo Glynn has crafted a remarkable novel about hope, the creation of fun in daily life, and romance, following heartbreaking events for two women. Honey Singh and Cara Espinoza have recently been asked for divorces by their lying, cheating spouses who are having an affair together. Bridget (Honey’s spouse) and Lorenzo (Cara’s husband) have been having an affair for about six months. In light of these revelations, both Honey and Cara need to get away from their lives in Houston. Cara proposes that that they take a road trip together and they agree on the ultimate destination as the Redwood National Forest in California. So Cara develops an itinerary with fun stops throughout the Southwest.

On their trip they have fun adventures together and post about them online on a site called Mesimo. They experience long drives, long conversations where they get to know each other, share meals, and chip away at their heartbreak. The road trip and their experiences were a highlight of this book. Their growing relationship as more than friends happens slowly and carefully. The book becomes magical when they become stranded in Arizona following some car trouble. Following one night in a cheap motel, fate comes to their rescue in the form on a diner employee. The diner employee takes Honey and Cara to their mother’s AirBnB and lets them use it for free along with the amenities.

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this creative story as well as Honey and Cara’s unique connection. 4.5 stars

The moment I read the synopsis, I knew I had to dive in! Honey and Cara are such wonderful characters, both reeling after their spouses leave them (for each other, no less). Their journey is as emotional as it is physical, and though the road is anything but smooth, it’s packed with meaning. I especially loved getting to know Honey through her first-person narration, and, in turn, learning about Cara through Honey’s eyes. Her reflections on the world around her add so much depth, giving us real insight into her feelings and what drives her.

One of the biggest highlights for me was watching Honey and Cara’s relationship unfold. They spent time together over the years without really connecting, but being crammed together in that little orange car gave them the chance to finally open up in ways they never had with anyone else. Because they both understand the pain of what the other is going through, there’s this instant layer of trust that makes their bond feel so genuine. Honey’s laid-back energy helps Cara lean into the bumps along the way, and as their connection deepens, I couldn’t help but root for them. They’re just so sweet together.

Anywhere With You is a heartfelt, funny, and adventurous romance that left me smiling long after I turned the last page. Honey and Cara’s story is equal parts healing, hope, and heart-fluttering chemistry, with just the right blend of humor and emotion. If you love road trip romances with genuine characters, quirky adventures, and a love story that feels both sweet and hard-won, this one is definitely worth the ride.

(4.5 Stars) This is a wonderfully organic romance. Cara Espinoza's husband and Honey Singh's wife were lifelong best friends. But now Cara and Honey are reeling from learning their spouses have been having an affair and have served them with divorce papers. Cara reaches out to Honey after painfully watching their soon to be ex’s post their cruise online. The best revenge is to show everyone they are not heartbroken and sitting at home. So the pair decide to go on a spring break road trip. Their plan is to go from Houston to the Redwoods in California. It is a road trip I would loved to have tagged along on.

The two have known each other socially for years through their spouses. But now Cara has lists of getting to know you questions between stops at National Parks, and tourist spots. Cara is a high school biology teacher and knows fun facts about everything. Honey owns a barely profitable music instrument store. The dialogue between the pair, and also Honey with her parents, at times made me bark with laughter. The story throws in tropes like close proximity and even a hotel with one bed. And while the pair are genuinely upset and sad about their upcoming divorces, the trip is healing and helping them move on. I appreciated the quiet moments as much as the ones that made me laugh.

This is seemingly a debut novel and I think the author nailed it. I am looking forward to future books from her. Thank you to NetGalley and Bold Strokes Books for the eARC and I am leaving a voluntary review.

Honey Singh’s wife has left her and is looking for divorce. Her wife has run off on a trip with her long-time friend, Cara Espinoza’s husband. Honey and Cara, who often felt like the extra person among the group, see the new couple’s (well, at least new as far as being known) posting on social media during their journeys, and their big idea is to take a trip of their own to show that they’re not affected.

Their soon-to-be former spouses don’t ever make an actual appearance in the book (except when Cara and Honey watch them on social media), which could be seen as a bit of a miss for the novel. Unlike other novels, in which this might impact the book in a negative way,

The trip that Honey and Cara take is fun and adventurous and full of mishaps, and it appears the two, who didn’t know each other particularly well when with their spouses, are growing closer together. We get the novel written from Honey’s POV, which I originally felt was a mistake. I have found it to be usually better in romance books to get the POV of both the main characters, but there is a very specific reason. Is it enough of a reason to not get Cara’s POV? I’m not sure, but it doesn’t impact the book too badly.

There is a third act “break up,” which I am generally not a fan of, but much like the lack of two POVs, it’s not enough to dim the enjoyment of the novel. This is a fast, enjoyable read, and I look forward to future works from this author.

Thanks to NetGalley for this ARC.

Y'all I adored this book. Now I have to admit my bias. One, my name is Kara and it's rare I see it used in books. Two, I'm a Houstonian and a book is always more enjoyable when you are familiar with the setting. With that said, this book is a great read regardless.

Honey and Cara come together after finding out their spouses, who were longtime close friends, cheated on them with each other and have sailed away on a cruise together. What's great about this story is that Honey and Cara are not strangers to each other, but their relationship is limited to social settings as the partners of their exes. This creates a great starting dynamic that sets a foundation but leaves a lot to explore as well.

In anticipation of their impending divorces, the two embark on a road trip from Houston to Cali while documenting the journey on social media. The journey that unfolds is one of grief, healing, growth, and understanding. As with any good road trip there are ups and downs and memories made.

Glynn does an excellent job of making these women very relatable. Cara is teacher and Honey owns and operates a music store. They live relatively "normal" lives and deal with stresses and changes in life we all deal with, allowing the reader to really connect with the MCs. I encourage y'all to take this trip with Cara and Honey, you'll be glad you did.

As a devoted romance reader, I'm the first to mention some pitfalls of the genre: Relying on tropes over complex storytelling; having secondary characters who feel like cardboard cutouts; focusing so much on the main characters that it doesn't seem like they lead real lives (who is paying your rent?? Do you ever go grocery shopping?? How can you miss so much work and not be worried??... but I digress.)

Margo Glynn does a fantastic job as a debut author of bridging those pitfalls. Anywhere With You is definitely still a romance novel -- this novel is about romance between two heartbroken sort-of-friends, but also about finding that spark in your life that reminds you to love and appreciate all of the things around you.

Cara and Honey are two lovable, relatable characters (in their thirties!!) who work hand-in-hand to find out who they are after their respective partners reveal that they've been sleeping together for months. If you love love, road trips (with hijinks), second chances, petty revenge that turns into something more, and fun facts about nature, this is 100% the book for you.

I went into this book thinking that it would be much more on the somber side with the topics of infidelity and divorce, but was pleasantly surprised by the humor. This book had me laughing out loud multiple times. It did have multiple scenes with both Honey and Cara dealing with all the emotions of having cheating spouses. Margo Glynn did a great job of balancing both throughout the book.

Road trip books are favorites of mine. This was a great example of one where the characters grew closer over their adventures. I love the escapism of reading a road trip book and getting to experience the places the characters go to along with them.

Honey and Cara's bond was beautiful and I really enjoyed following them on their road trip. I liked the aspect of the vlogging of their trip, especially how that was used later in the plot. If Margo Glynn writes more books, I'll definitely pick them up. I highly enjoyed Honey and Cara's story.

Thank you to Net Galley and the publisher for the ARC of Anywhere With You.

Heartache unites Honey and Cara as they set out on a road trip to get away from their past (and cheating spouses) and begin to step into their future in Anywhere with You. Although they've been in each other's orbit for years, they've never truly gotten to know each other, but with adventure and healing on the horizon, they reveal more about themselves than perhaps they'd ever done with anyone else before.

Glynn's writing is engaging and heartfelt. The FMCs backstories are compelling, and while the novel is told from Honey's perspective, the dialogue works to explore what's going on with Cara as well. The supporting characters are funny, endearing, and helpful. The road trip itself helps to ground this story and create opportunities for Honey and Cara to become friends, which leads to something more.

This story hits all the right beats along the way and makes you feel all the feels. Honey and Cara Forever! Highly recommend.

What a surprising and refreshing premise for a story: two acquaintances decide to go on a road trip together after discovering that their partners have run off with each other. From this unusual starting point, the book takes the reader on a heartfelt emotional journey. The characters go through grief, self-discovery, and the process of learning not only about each other, but also about their own sense of self-worth.

I especially liked how the role of social media is woven into the narrative. It adds a modern and realistic layer, showing how online presence and outside perceptions can affect emotions and relationships.

Overall, this is a very engaging read—filled with well-developed characters, emotional depth, and just the right balance between thought-provoking themes and easy, enjoyable storytelling. It’s the kind of book that not only entertains, but also leaves you with something to reflect on.

I received a free copy of this book, but I am leaving this review voluntarily.

It's a gentle approach to romance.
A slow development, but in a very funny and entertaining way.
This road-trip romance by the two MCs is about two women who have been disappointed and cheated on.
They decide to do something spontaneous and selfish because they want to show the world that they can cope without their ex partners.
Cara and Honey are friends in a way; their respective partners have been friends forever, discovered now their undying love for each other, and are now living it out.
Much to their wives' chagrin.
Both, however, know that they're better off without their respective wives.
This process takes a while, and they realize how good each other's presence is for them.
And they discover more than they thought possible. It gets steamy, too, and I really enjoyed the intimate scenes.
The best part however, is the witty exchanges between them!
Thanks so much to Margo Glynn, Bold Strokes Books and Netgalley for this ARC!
This is my honest review!
