Welcome to Beaumere, Vermont, where the ghosts are meddling, the men are brooding, and love is always brewing!

Food blogger Tamara Lawren thought her life hit rock bottom when her ex sold her secrets to the paparazzi, but apparently the universe wasn't done with her yet. Now she's hiding out in America's spookiest town with a sexy yet anti-social landlord and a dead socialite who thinks playing Cupid is her unfinished business.

Historical home renovator Alex McNeill has serious trust issues thanks to his cheating ex, and the last thing he needs is a mysterious roommate who stress-bakes at 2 AM and keeps asking about the town's history. But when their meddling ghost starts bursting pipes and locking doors to force them together, avoiding his growing feelings for Tamara becomes impossible, especially when he suspects she's hiding a secret identity.

Between midnight flour explosions and ghostly interference, can two damaged hearts find their way to love? Or will their trust issues and one determined spirit cook up nothing but chaos?

Pour yourself something warm and get ready for a deliciously haunted romance that's pure comfort reading magic!

This was a fantastic mystery with a sweet romance thrown in on the side! Alex, MMC and renovator extraordinaire, was grumpy, blunt, and sweet at the the core. He had just been hurt so he closed himself off. He was no match for our FMC, Tamara, baker extraordinaire, normally sunshiney but her life was kinda in shambles so a tad down! She was guarded and sad but saw beauty in broken things. I loved that about her. This book surrounds a fantastic mystery pertaining to the ghost in the house, Delia. It was so fun to watch these two work together to uncover the truth amongst everything else going on. And... I would be remiss if I dint mention Peter's, the awesome cat who knows everything and is super judgemental!! He was hilarious and added a bonus layer to this story! I loved everything about this story. Im glad I gave this author a try. I cant wait to read more of her books!

OH STARS, I adored this book! My heart went out to Tamara and Alex both of them were duped by their ex's. Tamara is a free-lance food blogger whose boyfriend sold her out with stealing money, snapping ugly pictures of her, and selling her out for ten thousand dollars! Now her followers think that she was a fraud, I loved Alex whose Ex sold their house and ran away with is ex business partner. Some say that Alex's inherited home is haunted by a woman who was left at the altar and that she secretly did everything she could to nudge them to be together, and Alex's cute cat had me laughing so hard that I could almost see his face!

I have recently discovered this author and have loved both the books of hers that I have read. She doesn't seem to have a huge library of books from which to choose, but I don't think you can go wrong with whichever one you pick.

An unexpected delight!

What an awesome story. I wasn’t sure what I was getting in to, but the characters hesitancy to get involved was intriguing and helped along by an otherworldly spirit. Throw in an unexpected mystery and a wonderful read by a new favorite author.

This was a cute, light paranormal read. I enjoyed Delia's "haunting" and match making. The town was fun and full of unique characters. The cat's epilogue was a great ending to the story.

was hooked within a minute, characters were real, situations that could happen to anyone, it is a romantic drama, supernatural cozy mystery, with a cat that knows too much

I much more invested in Delia's case than MC's love story. The writing is enjoyable despite me not enjoying their romantic entanglement.

I think it was weird how Tamara who supposed to be on alert and suspicious of everyone after a betrayal could casually converse in familiar tone with Alex, a total stranger from the start. And again with Andrea (although Andrea surely quite pushy). There was no stiffness or distance except when she probed about her past.

There is slight confusion (or plot error?) where some of her new followers was there because the murder investigation. But the journalist publish the article without any mention of her or Alex like she promised.

I also thought Delia finally get her rest in peace at chapter 19 but apparently not. Let the girl walk with his man to the light and get her eternal happiness :).

The last three chapters could be shortened into one chapter. And Perseus' chapter feel unnecessary since it doesn't give something new. I thought it would reveal that the cat was some ghost reincarnation or something lol.
