This was such a cute story! IIRC it's better written than the previous one - more well rounded characters and better balance, not just badly swapped gender roles. Wish we'd gotten more actual interaction between ML and FL; it almost felt like we [or literally] we had a lot more of interactions between them and other than each other.
The extras and mess kinda made it ugh less good - but considering the author was determined to kill them off in the ancient world ... [maybe prepping/in hopes of this getting picked up for a drama so as to not have to worry about the transmigration hurdle?]
Anyway definitely at least a B+ read

This was not bad, but some things are glossed over. MC was known to be a fool, but somehow news spread about her developing a new game and recipes and there was no question about it.
ML was good, respectful of the MC's quirks and never forcing her into anything.
Some things were never elaborated on. Like the side story showed the MC's strained relationship with her mother, but what's the point of revealing this in the side story?
Despite the 'political' feel of the blurb, there's no political intrigue as the story revolved around the MC who didn't participate in politics. It was a good growth story though, as you get to see people around the MC changing for the better.
Short, relatively sweet story made better by the side stories.
