Claiming the Pack's Omega: A Reverse Harem Omegaverse Romance

Rate this book
Giving my heart to an alpha? Not a chance.
Giving my heart to four rich, powerful Northside alphas? I’d rather die.

I spend enough time with men like that, serving them on my back in order to keep my little siblings fed in the poverty-stricken Southside.

But Stone, Theo, Milo, and Killian have their own agenda. One that involves me.

At first, they seemed too good to be true. Too kind, too considerate, too delicious-smelling. Turns out, I was right, because that connection I thought we had?

It’s all a lie.

They want to use me.
The way every alpha does.

They’re working undercover, trying to take down the omega trafficking rings—and they want to make me their star witness.

If I’d known who they were, I never would’ve let my guard down. Hell, I would’ve run screaming in the opposite direction.

Because of them, I’m labeled a traitor by the Sorel Family, the most dangerous crime syndicate around.

And they don’t let traitors live.

My only chance at survival? Trusting the Graylock pack to keep me safe.

But I’ve been burned by alphas before. All of them want something from me, and even though I daydream about what it would be like to have a pack that cares about me, the Graylock pack wants to use me like everyone else. So I swear to never let myself fall for them.

But when my heat suppressant supply runs out, and I catch a whiff of the four alphas who betrayed me?

I react.

Because the Graylock pack isn’t just any alpha pack.
They’re my fated mates.

This is an interconnected standalone from the Riverwell Omegaverse Series. While it can be enjoyed on its own, it does contain some spoilers for Saving the Pack's Omega. This is a 145k word, slow-burn, non-shifter, omegaverse, MFMMM reverse harem romance!

Claiming The Pack's Omega by Callie Clark
4,5/5⭐
2,5/5🌶️

I didn't have any expectations when I picked this book up, but I was in the mood for an omegaverse read, and I’m so glad I did! It turned out to be an amazing experience. The theme is a little dark and heavy, but the love story is so sweet and swoony! The female main character is incredibly strong and independent; you can really feel how much she loves her family, and she’s definitely a total badass. I loved how she always fought back and stood her ground.

The male leads are just the best! They’re sweet, protective, and each has such distinct personalities. They’re dominant, smart, powerful alphas who would do anything to keep their omega safe. I loved seeing how they supported each other and cherished the female lead. Overall, I enjoyed everything about this book and can’t wait to dive into the next one in the series!

DNF 28%

The FMC's profession isn't one we often read about (sex worker) and from the first couple of pages, I thought we were getting a strong FMC who would finally push back against alpha control.

Wrong. She allows everyone to manhandle her, call her by names she doesn't like, gives into her omega side way too often and allows men from the rich side of the city to control where she lives and everything else.

I should have known this FMC would be cut and paste from so many others just from the blurb. Once a blurb says something to the effect of "no way will I ever bow down to Alphas" we know that within 25%, the FMC will already simp to them.

The author also made some strange decisions - like, who the hell breaks a window to leave a room when they were standing RIGHT next to the door. Plus, no window in a hospital would break that easy and no patients are usually on the first floor.

The author decides to hand hold her readers and refuses to allow them to use context clues to figure out actions and meanings. For example: "She’s still the closest to the door, like she needs the comfort that she can run away if necessary." And "“Are you… okay?” She grits out, as if she can’t help but ask. That’s a good sign, her checking up on me. Not all of her hates me."

The nicknames and terms of endearments were getting dumber as the book went on.
FMC's name was Reyna, which she already chooses to go by Raine. Her nickname is Rey.
Are the MMC's okay with that? Nope. We have the first nickname within 13%, wildflower; then comes additional nicknames from her family and MMC's: spitfire, rey-rey, and squirt. Can't people just have normal fucking names for once?

DNF'd not only because of the names, but the weakass FMC who refuses to push back, the bad character decisions made by the author and the terrible dialogue.

I enjoyed this book. The plot was good, and the characters were very well written. Reyna, the FMC, grew up in the rough end of town (the Southside), and she worked to help support her family. Her family is so amazing, loving, and supportive, and I loved reading about them so much. They didn't realize what Reyna truly did for work, however, and she had no plans on telling them, either. It wasn't until she got noticed by people she didn't want to be noticed by and saved someone's life that everything changed for her.

I like that Reyna was fierce and stuck to who she was, even when she wasn't in a favorable position. For example, she'd mouth off to Dom, who was essentially her employer / pimp and absolutely took advantage of her. She did what she felt she had to for her family and was there for them every single day, but still remained true to do she was. She didn't become a shell, a husk of who she once was. She stayed strong and never pitied herself. Reyna is probably one of the strongest FMCs I've ever read about. Something else I appreciate about her is that she ACTUALLY ACCEPTED HELP. She didn't hide things like threatening messages. She opened up about them and anything else that came up to the guys who came into her life. That all said, she also didn't act like a damsel in distress. She could hold her own at times (and she wanted to), but she knew her limits. Even then, she went above and beyond them if the situation called for it.

As for the other main characters, they all had unique personalities, pasts, and traits. Each of them were written really well. Milo was definitely my personal favourite. I love a sweet, shy, virgin MC!

SPOILER:
Quick note about Dom that I want to touch on. I give the author props on making him "human." He was a bad guy, of course. Greedy, selfish. But especially towards the end, the author humanized him a bit. He told Reyna not to look behind her at one point because he knew she didn't do well with blood, and there was a fair bit behind her. He appeared guilty when she awoke at an unknown location. He didn't do anything out of the goodness of his heart, but these were tiny things that made him not completely EVIL and unfeeling. It showed just a sliver of humanity, which I feel we don't see in the bad guys often. For these reasons, Dom ended up being a well-written bad guy.

So, yeah! Overall, it's a pretty great story. If you're looking for a read that has a lot of heat, knotting, and other spicy scenes, I'll warn you that this doesn't have it. It's maybe 2/5 on the spicy scale, but that's because the author focuses much more on the story itself (which I actually liked). I recommend this book!

I need book three. If you say its without cliffhanger it's not entirely true. I mean..

I love it truly did, but it also gets a little predictable. I was still hooked tho. The writing style I like it!

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Blessed to read this as an ARC. Devoured this book- has everything you’re looking for in an omegaverse book- alphas, omegas, scent matches. No MM or OW. Some darker themes but the chosen pack is healing. Can’t wait until book 3.

I was lucky enough to ARC read this book and I LOVED it.

I laughed… I cried and I swooned 💕 it deals with some darker themes so check CWs for sure.

Sweet baby angel Milo 🥺🥺 I loved all of the MMCs. They were sweet, protective and obsessed with their girl.

I really loved the FMC as well. She was the perfect mix of sassy and strong but also soft with those closest to her.

***possible spoiler***

I died laughing when she went out the window 😂

The only thing that could have made this a 5 star read for me is getting the full bonding scene during her heat. The build up to them bonding was sooo good and it just felt anticlimactic not getting to see it. I would love to get a bonus chapter of it! Especially since we didn’t actually get to see her be with each of her mates. I wanted to see her with Theo and Stone (the piercings hellooo) and more of Milo.

I totally loved this book, especially how feisty and yet damaged Reyna was. Stone, Theo, Killian & Milo were just delicious, each had their own individual damages and hurts, yet all together as a pack they all found their peace. Milo…..OMG! I wonted to hug him and kiss him senseless at the same time! Oh ok who am I kidding I’d happily kiss them all!!

I loved it all, the pace was perfect, characters relatable, the story was captivating from start to finish. The fact Reynas whole family was supported and ensured were safe and happy was just the cherry on top of a fantastic read, we even get to meet Luna, and her won scrummy pack from book one!!

I can highly recommend to all Omegaverse lovers x

RH Omegaverse Romance

This was an action packed and enjoyable read. However, if you need lots of spice, this book is not for you, it is very plot heavy.
This book is more about working through past traumas, getting to know each other, and taking down the crime family.

If you read ‘Saving the Pack’s Omega’ Reyna is the omega that saved Luna in that book.
The MMCs were all in from the beginning and were all protective of her as well.
Milo ❤️‍🩹poor guy my heart hurt for him, the others as well, but his backstory really hit me hard. And he was the absolute sweetest 💜

The books itself is not dark but it does have dark undertones and something that may be triggering to some so make sure you check TWs

There’s no cheating, no OWD, no third act breakup with a HEA.

Looking forward to Mira’s story.

* Pierced & Tattooed MMC
* Traumatized FMC & MMC

Couple SPOILERS on things I wished happened………..

I really wish we knew what happened to Killian’s brother. He was mentioned near the end having something to do with her kidnapping but nothing after the fact.

Also I wish she at least was intimate will all her alphas once on page.

Ugh, this is such a hard review for me to write. Look, anyone that knows my tastes would read this synopsis and think it's perfect for me. It's got a betrayal, a promise of groveling (by men), and enough trauma to open an asylum. So tell me why I just couldn't be bothered to care about these characters?

Don't worry, I'll tell you. It's because for all the promises of a massive betrayal and the men having to work to get in Reyna's good graces, it honestly could have been wrapped up at the 50% mark. Frankly, I was looking forward to smut scenes, not because I was interested in them, but because those felt like free pages to skip without missing any important plot points. But, much to my chagrin, we're then confronted with the reason this is called a "slow burn." (Don't worry about it, emotionally it's so far from slow.) There isn't a full sex scene until 85%, and they talked through it the entire time so I couldn't skip it for the sake of brevity.

Listen, it's not terribly written. It's decent enough for what it is. My problem with the book is the fact that for as little personality as these characters actually show, this did not need to be 500+ pages. The characters were flat. Several times I had to go back to the start of a chapter to remind myself which MMC's POV I was actually reading. This had all the ingredients for a killer angsty romance, it just fell short.

Reyna an Omega from the Southside has been doing what she needs to in order to afford her supresents, and to provide for her family. What she never expected was to find out, that the two alphas she’s been spending time with are more than they seem. Alphas who have an agenda. When a choice she makes means she and her family have to flee, the only ones she can rely on, are four Alphas who come to her rescue.

This story is the second in a series, the first one, in my opinion is not needed in order to read this one, anyone mentioned from the first book, in this book, is done so in a way you don’t feel like your missing anything. I’d still suggest you read it, but it’s honestly not needed.

This book does deal with some heavy themes, so i’d def advice you to read the triggar warnings at the start, it’s done in a respectful way though, and honestly, i didn’t find it bad, but it does deal with trafficking etc. But again it’s all done super tastefully, and the overall arc of the book, meshed in with Reyna and her Alphas was done well. There was a perfect balance of that overreaching plot (that is not fully resolved in this book) and the relationships growing.

It’s a story of healing, it’s a tale of five people that all have their flaws, and their faults, their history and different reasons they are pretty broken, and coming together to heal. To grow.

The relationship that she has with all of them is also different. The relationship she has with Milo is sweet and tender, and it’s so beautiful; the trust and the intimacy that it brings is done well. Theo and her, hold a special kind of bond that is a little deeper than the others based on the fact they spent more time together. Stone is raw desire, and her and Killian are two flames meeting together to create a supernova.

Also good on her for standing her ground, and pointing out her faults, because yes, they have faults, this isn’t a story about a broken FMC where the males put her back together, they are all equally broken in their own ways, realising their downfalls and healing, together. It’s a healing story at it’s core, and that is incredibly important. The way these men see the soft vulnerabilities of Reyna, and move to help her realise she’s worth far more than she thinks and that they care, is done beautifully. But also, she is not afraid to stand up for them either and give them a kick up the arse for acting like idiots.

Honestly, she should have stayed a little more mad, for a little longer, but it’s understandable why she didn’t so im not overly mad at it. Besides, its impossible to remain mad when milo looks at you like you just kicked a puppy.

We ride at dawn for Milo. Like seriously, every single time that Milo was on page, my heart melted. Out of all of the characters, Milo stole my heart, right from the start. He must be protected at all costs.

Did i want more in some places? Yes, was it predictable?, both yes and no, I feel with these type of books there is a certain level of preditableness, which i adore, but the twists that came with it, were not fully expected, like i was expecting something, but not what we got, and this is a good thing.

I’ve read a decent amount of Alpha/Omega books, and a lot of them are very same, same, and this one didn’t feel like i was just reading something that i’ve read before, even though there were similarities to it. So it was honestly a great little read, and I can not wait for the next book in the series.

Things i didn’t like

The constant use of petrichor - I get the need for it, and its role, but I feel like there could have been different ways to describe her scent, and the various scents, that would have added a little more depth, which does also happen in multiple instances, and I loved that, over the one-word description of her scent.

The lack of descriptions of the Alpha’s - they lacked the visual descriptors, so it was a little hard to know what they looked like and visualise.

We lost the family element a little; I really wanted more of what was a very clear strong family dynamic.

I wanted more from her first heat. I adored what we got, but i would have loved more, mostly i would have loved to see them all bond on screen, like this was such an important part and it felt like it was done very quickly. Milo also deserved more from this moment as well, i feel he def deserved his own scene with Reyna.

Thank you to the Author for the arc.

I received an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Please check content warnings before choosing to read this book. :)

Claiming the Pack’s Omega follows Reyna, an omega living in the Southside where surviving is difficult, and omegas are treated poorly. Making a living the only way she knows how desperate to provide for her family, Reyna meets alphas the likes of which she has never seen before. Seemingly too good to be true, Reyna finds herself surrounded by four Northside alphas who challenge what she knows at every turn. They need her to testify against the very same people she was working for, she needs them to keep her family safe. Through their journey together they find that they need each other more than they ever realized.

Claiming the Pack’s Omega is a standalone from the Riverwell Omegaverse series; however, I strongly recommend reading Saving the Pack's Omega: A Reverse Harem Omegaverse Romance first as there are a few spoilers! (Plus it is so good!)

I would rate this novel about 4.5 stars, rounding up to 5. There was a lot to love about the novel. Reyna was a refreshing FMC, especially for an omega. She was independent and strong, but also had a sense of vulnerability to her that made her an incredibly endearing female lead. She was a beautifully written balance of fiery and soft. Her alphas Stone, Milo, Killian, and Theo were much the same: incredibly strong but also soft and caring. (especially when it came to their girl) The way the FMC and MMCs connection was refreshing and happened in a way that felt very natural. I particularly enjoyed the way the FMC and MMCs handled their trauma (no alphaholes here) and with the levels of maturity shown in each character. The traumas represented were written in a healthy and respectful way. The writing of the novel itself was also strong. There were not any mistakes or plot holes that took away from the story. The medium pacing was pretty solid throughout the story; however, things did pick up rather quickly at the end. I wish the end of the story had been slowed down a bit to really give the main plotline some more time to shine. There could have been a lot more done with things that were just rushed through. Certain elements of the story that were built up to be pretty important seemed to almost get lost. Instead of the main focus being on solving the crime ring that was seemingly the forefront of the story, the bulk of the novel focused mainly on the budding relationships between the pack and the omega. However in this I also wish the novel had been a little longer in order to flesh out their relationships a bit more in order to create a more fulfilling story. However, for what was there this story was certainly worth the read and I look forward to reading more from Callie Clark in the future.

Claiming the Pack’s Omega is a medium burn non-shifting omegaverse romance that features tropes such as:
MFMMM
Touch her and get got
Fated mates
Found family
Hidden scent match
Fighting against crime family
🌶️🌶️/5
This novel does not contain
Cheating
OWD
Pregnancy
Third act breakup

I really enjoyed this story, it’s part 2 in a series and whilst it could be read as a standalone there is an overarching storyline throughout the series that would be beneficial to read book q first to allow you to have a fuller appreciation of the background and different characters.

This is reyna’s story and how she meets and ultimately bonds with her pack - killian, Theo, stone and milo. We briefly meet reyna in book 1 (saving the packs omega) when luna and reyna meet briefly and reyna plays a part in luna’s rescue.

Reyna, a southside omega who is unregistered, does whatever she has to in order to support her family and get access to the suppressants she needs to prevent her heats. Accepting her lot in life, and the control she thinks she has over her life and choices, the last thing she expects is to meet 2 alphas and feel a pull towards them. When one of the alphas life is at risk Reyna must make a quick decision that changes the rest of her life and the lives of her family too. However, Reyna learns that the alphas have their own agenda but also that not everything is as it seems and there may be more to this pack than what she initially saw. When her life is at risk the only people she can rely on are the 4 alphas of the graylock pack. Each of the 4 alphas all have their own demons and issues to deal with, can Reyna help them all to put their issues behind them and become the pack that she deserves.

The story does deal with some pretty dark and heavy themes, such as omega trafficking, kidnap, drugging, bullying, suicide and violence. However, I do not feel like any of these triggers were discussed in any great detail and we’re all handled in a delicate, sensitive and respectful nature. But do consider the trigger warnings at the front of the book if you have any triggers before reading the story.

I really liked Reyna as a character, she was strong, determined and opinionated, which you don’t get very often with omegas. I also liked that the alphas were all dealing with their own demons and experiences and showed their vulnerable sides, particularly milo, I seriously have a huge soft spot for milo! There was a strong theme of them supporting Reyna to see her value past that of her body, but also supporting each other with reynas support.

I liked that the story picked up the plot from where book 1 left it, and that the characters from luna’s story appeared in this one, and the overarching storyline was progressed well in this book, and whilst reynas story concluded in this instalment, the wider storyline is left on a bit of a cliffhanger to conclude in book 3 with mira’s story which I can’t wait for!

I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This is the second book in the Riverwell Omegaverse series, a set of interconnected standalones. This is a dark omegaverse romance where the FMC escapes an abusive and exploitative situation. It is not absolutely necessary to read the first book of the series before reading this one, but reading this one first will spoil some of the events of the first book. I received an advance review copy and my thoughts are my own. Thank you to the author for my eArc.

Tropes and themes include:
✨Why choose (mfmmm)
✨Billionaire pack
✨Hidden scent matches
✨Fierce black cat (and traumatized) FMC
✨Who did this to you?
✨Touch her and die
✨Heats and knots
✨Hurt/comfort

Rating: 4.5/5 Stars 3/5 Flames
Nicknames: Sunshine, Princess, Wildflower, Spitfire

The Lovely: I gobbled this book up the first time I read it (I was a beta reader). I remember reading all the chapters we had available, anxiously awaiting the next set, then dropping everything to read those. I loved this pack of guys - I think because they were a bit flawed but willing to try to improve themselves for the FMC. The FMC is by far my favorite - she’s fierce and stubborn and has to learn how to accept help and love.

The Mundane: I struggled a bit with the pacing and what events were given the most page time (i.e. first heat and bonding vs kidnapping) and felt like the ending wrapped up quickly. I did like that she, at least partially, saves herself.

Recommendation: While each book in this series features it’s own FMC and pack of MMCs, I loved that we got to see some characters from book one. And, we briefly meet the character who will be the FMC of the next book in the series! If you’re looking for a dark and heavy omegaverse romance that’s heavy on the hurt/comfort and swoonworthy MMCs, I think you would like this book.

Dark and lots of triggers but worth every page - - the storyline was really good as the FMC Reyna is determined to be independent and not rely on alphas but she has some fire and a backbone. While she is willing to do what she has to for her family, she still does have limits and morals. The banter between her and the guys is great and she doesn’t let them swoop in like knights in shining armor, they have to work for every inch that she is clinging to and boy do they work for it. Stone, Theo, Milo and Killian are all part of Graylock pack and working to bring down some corrupt upperclass people and an omega trafficking ring. When they run into Reyna while undercover, they are hoping she can help connect some dots for them but when they realize they are fated mates, everything shifts on both sides.
There is lots of trauma for all of them but they come from different situations, however the way the author brings them all together and works through it all is nothing short of magical and feels very organic. This book weighed in at over 550 pages and it was a slow burn as Reyna wasn’t trusting anyone and certainly not her own biology makeup. The guys knew how much to push and when to back off and let her make her move and I really appreciated the slow burn on this storyline because when it did finally burn it was a full 5 alarm burn it to the ground (sorry Reyna no pun intended - spoiler) burn. I also love when an author brings some characters over from other books. This is a standalone however I recommend reading Saving the Pack’s Omega first as it gives some character overview and a little back story on other parts that are impactful in this book.
I look forward to what else Callie Clark puts out in the future and will 100% be clicking as soon as I see it.

I've really enjoyed Reyna's story and finding out more about the ongoing plot within this world. The pacing was really good, the plot as well as the relationship development kept me interested to keep reading and I felt satisfied overall with the ending. The book doesn't have too many spicy scenes and I'd say it is medium burn. This can be read as a standalone but I definitely feel like reading Luna's story first helps set the world building and the first impression of Reyna's character! I still will recommend this series as a whole and this book as a standalone!

Reyna's mentally strong, street smart ways really impressed me with her character development into being more open and vulnerable with her future alphas. All the alphas have past and ongoing trauma which Reyna can recognise from her own. It was satisfying to see them help each other heal and confront their trauma. My favourite out of all her alphas has to be sweet, shy Milo. You just wanted to give him a hug and comfort him after his trauma so early for such an innocent act. I loved Theo's easy going nature and we all love a man who can cook! Plus the dedication to his lawyer profession is admirable. Stone was definitely the muscle in the pack being an undercover cop when he met Reyna and the description of his body piercings and tattoo makes him sound delicious! Lastly, we have the head alpha Killian whose dedicated in fighting the corruption of his fellow councilmen and make life better for omegas in the Northside and Southside. I loved the individual relationship development between them and Reyna, it was really great to see the trust and vulnerable sides unfold throughout.

Oh, this one got had me from the get go! Reyna is an omega who is no stranger to hard choices. She sells herself alphas who want to control and abuse her, with a side hustle working as a ring girl for a fight club, all to help her family afford a roof over their heads and put food in her sibling's mouths. No one can know her secret sacrifices, or her trauma that leads her to them, and to wanting to reject her designation and packs.

Two alphas she meets through work include yep who actually seem to see her as something more, leaving her dangerously vulnerable for the first time. She doesn't realize these tempting, kind men are packaged until she has to decide to save one of them from certain death, with catastrophic consequences to herself. The pack needs her to help them take down the corrupt system from the inside, but what about her and the family she will do anything to protect, but how can she trust something built on lies and manipulation?

The pack has to overcome her fear and self doubt in order to get her to trust them. Milo, in particular, was my favorite. He's just as damaged, of not more so, but the bond they form is so sweet. My heart melted. The entire pack has demons, but together they are fighting to make a better future, taking the rotten parts down together from within.

Spicy, sweet, and full of all the things you want in a dark OMV, I absolutely recommend. Dark, but not too dark, it hits all the right notes for me.

This story had me hooked from the very first page. Reyna is an omega who knows all about sacrifice. To keep a roof over her family's head and food on the table, she sells herself to alphas who use her, hiding the truth of her suffering from everyone—including her younger siblings. By day, she works as a ring girl at an underground fight club. By night, she lives a secret life of survival, shaped by trauma and a desire to reject both her designation and the packs that would claim her.
But then, two very different alphas enter her world—both unexpectedly kind, both dangerous to her carefully built walls. One hires her but only wants to talk and hold her. The other is a fierce, unrelenting fighter in the ring. She doesn't realize they’re part of the same pack until she risks everything to save one of them, triggering consequences that could destroy her and the family she lives for.
Suddenly, she's pulled into a web of secrets, rebellion, and a pack on a mission to dismantle the corrupt system from within. But trusting anyone—especially alphas—doesn’t come easy. Not after what she’s endured. The pack will have to earn her loyalty, and her heart.
Spicy, emotional, and rich with dark themes that never cross the line into hopelessness, this is the kind of Omegaverse story that stays with you. Dark, but not too dark, it hits every note I love in the genre: tension, healing, found family, and just the right amount of spice. Highly recommended.

3 "Honorary" Stars...

I managed to get through about 200 pages of this 522-page behemoth. However… I found myself doing just about anything else instead of reading it, taking longer and longer breaks between chapters. When I realized I was trying to re-catalog my Goodreads shelves just to avoid picking this book back up, I finally called it quits.

Maybe it’s just me, but I was bored to death.

By the 200-page mark, we still hadn’t even reached the point described in the book’s blurb.

On top of that, these Alphas and their pack are a mess. I honestly can’t see them as capable of caring for an Omega when they can’t even take care of themselves. The descriptions of the guys don’t match their actions either. For example, Killian (the lead Alpha) is described as being in “careful control” of himself and his life. But from what I saw, he acted more like an overtired toddler throwing tantrums than the steady picture of control we’re told he is.

The author also reused the exact same formula from the first book in this series. Once again, we have the one Alpha who doesn’t feel like he belongs in the pack, no matter what anyone else says. That trope felt original in book one, but dragging it out again here just feels repetitive and tiring.

So, all in all…
1. This book is entirely too long.
2. Reyna deserves better than these guys.
3. It’s far too similar to book one to stay interesting.

This book went from "okay, this has an interesting plot" to "OMG I NEED LIKE 3 MORE BOOKS OF THIS PACK STAT" in just a few chapters, and it may be one of my favorite Omegaverse books. The plot draws you in and immerses you in the Riverwell Omegaverse, with fierce Omegas and Alphas with hearts of gold who, while broken, find their family through their unlikely Omega. I legit wish there were more pages in this book because I need all the stories about the Graylock Pack (and while I don't tend to pick favorites... MILO, MY BELOVED).

This Omegaverse book was plot and narrative heavy, but surprisingly spice light, but not to the detriment of the story (and while I wish we got to see Reyna get bonded to all the alphas on page, especially Milo, I'm hoping we get to see more of it in flashbacks maybe? We got a mention later in the book about Milo's bondmark with her).

My favorite thing about Claiming the Pack's Omega (besides Milo, obvs) was that Reyna is not your typical sugary sweet omega. From her scent to her inner fire, she's relatable in a way that balances the perfectly broken packmates and, like kintsugi, brings them together as something better.

This is definitely going in my permanent rotation of books!!.

Claiming the Pack's Omega deals with a lot of heavy topics so make sure to read the description and check the trigger warnings before reading. Overall, this was a good read and I really fell in love with Milo as a character!! I liked the idea of the plot, the characters, and the conflict. I love how we see the care and some of the character growth.

There were some interesting writing choices that were made in terms of the plot and doing a bit more 'telling' rather than letting the reader feel fully immersed and draw their own conclusions. There was also a lot of 'issues' for each of the characters and I don't know if all of them were actually resolved or just brushed off as resolved.

Again, it felt like this one started out promising and then it started to get a bit convoluted with so much going on, none of it really felt adequately resolved. Things were wrapped up rather quickly so I never really got the chance to connect to the plot or characters or feel the angst that could have been there. But then again there were times when it felt like the story was dragging so I think pacing overall was an issue along with some time jumps that threw me for a loop.

If you like omegaverse with a lot of drama, this is the book for you. I do want to know how the series ends, so I will pick up the final book once it's released!

Willing to do anything for family

Reyna had a terrible experience when her first heat hit and when she was offered the chance to not have another and to make enough money to help her siblings have a better life she accepted what was offered. However, things are changing and it isn't for the better. This girl is a freaking warrior. She saw what her family needed and she vowed to make it happen.

The men in this story are amazing. I absolutely adore Miles the sweet, nerdy hacker who has zero experience. Stone is undercover as a fighter when we meet him. Theo is a lawyer and we meet him when he buys a full night with Rayne and all he does is cuddle and take care of her. Jillian is the youngest politician and he is trying b to make the world better for Omegas.

Follow as Rayne and her family are threatened and the pack promises to take care of them in exchange for her help in bringing down the people trafficking Omegas and creating risky drugs.

The way she falls for each of these men and they are is beautiful. I absolutely loved the way they cared for her. This was definitely a slow burn as they got to know each other and all of their individual traumas. I can't wait to see what's next in this world.

This book has a special place in my heart. I was so enamored with Reyna and her men. I was honestly surprised how much I enjoyed this story considering it has less spice than other books I have read in the same genre. The overarching storyline and emotional impact of Reyna, Milo, Theo, Killian and Stone were written so well that I would have read this book as voraciously as I did, were there no spice at all. I think it was really nice to see such emotional development for all of the main characters. Milo, Theo, Killian, and Stone each all had their own hang ups that needed to be addressed throughout the story. I felt that Callie Clarke was able to write in such a way that each of the male main characters had their time in the spotlight to address their issues as best as they could in the situations, while also allowing readers time to connect and feel for the characters and truly understand them.
I would 100% recommend this book to anyone who loves romance, Omega verse and happy ever-after with a little bit of mystery.
Callie wrote an amazing book for an amazing series and I cannot wait for the next book!

Wow. So much happened in this book! After being saved by an Alpha when she was 18, omega Reyna is left with no choice but to work for him, & to sell her body. After all, not much can become of a Southside omega. But when a Northside undercover cop & lawyer work their way into her life trying to break a major case, everything changes. What she doesn’t realise is that these two are part of a pack who are her scent matches. Graylock Pack rescue Reyna & her family from the Southside, & she helps them build a case to take down the corrupt officials running the omega trafficking ring. But the rot runs deeper than any of them thought. Whilst dealing with all of this, Reyna has to come to terms with her scent matches, learn to trust alpha’s & overcome the barriers she’s erected to protect herself. Killian, Stone, Theo & Milo all have their own demons, & Reyna becomes the key to unlocking those too. Especially for Milo. I loved their relationship the most. Reyna is a fierce omega, who doesn’t take any crap from anyone. This was an action packed, found family OV & I loved every second.

Reyna lives on the writing side of the tracks and is an omega unregistered. When she turned 16 she went to work for the alpha who saved her from her ex boyfriend and his friends. One night she is asked by Dom, her boss, to be ring Walker for the fights There she meets Obsidian aka Stone
Stone,Theo,Milo andKillian are a pack of alphas and friends. They are working undercover when they meet Reyna. They each feel something for her but the mission comes first. Then they discover she knows a lot about the Omega trafficking and drugs. She asks for protection for her family and herself in the right side of the tracks.
The four alphas want to learn if the feelings they are having for her are real. For her although she is drawn to them she knows how alphas are. Will he past with other alphas keep her from learning is they could have something good? Then she is threatened and it's all hands on deck!
A fantastic story that will keep the reader involved and hyper.

HELLLLOOOOO MILO, MY NEWEST SHAYLA 😩

i went into this book completely blind and it was SO WORTH IT.

this book follows reyna, an omega who has to do illegal sex work to help provide for her family while and other things you learn throughout the book…

throughout the book you meet her alphas along the way and while i loved them all … milo was everything to me 🥲

did NOT expect a virgin trope but i’m so here for it 🤪 his growth alone in these books was AMAZING to read and seeing how reyna even put the pack in their place about certain issues 🤌🏽 yes miss girl!!

i was slightly sad we didn’t get much spice/knotting but that doesn’t mean the sexual tension wasn’t 😮‍💨

🚨spoiler-ish🚨

the ending felt slightly rushed to me after the build up throughout the book (wish we saw all the bonds happen) but i’m excited to see book 3 to wrap up any questions i have left (author does state that open plot lines are there for a reason and will be wrapped up since it’s a interconnected series with the plot line evolving)

***ARC Review***

Hoo boy… this was a long read!
Not quite dark, but murky and definitely in the grey…

Reyna did whatever (and I mean whatever) was needed to support her family.
Her history (traumatic) has led her here, and she was unapologetic, even if she hid it from them.
She meets her alpha’s and it’s pretty clear early that they’re the good guys delving into a murky situation for ‘the greater good’. Reyna ends up on the wrong side of her criminal bosses and has to seek help. Lo and behold, she finds out her alphas have another agenda, which, coupled with her history, creates a pretty tough situation. As expected, they work through it - earning her loyalty and creating a new, extended family.
Mind you… Milo…. sweetie…. bless him!!!!

This is a standalone, yet it’s part of a larger storyline. It can be read without the first, but you’ll definitely miss out on some bridging information.

I absolutely love a book with a badass FMC and MMCs who will do anything for their lady. I can honestly tell you Callie Clark did not disappoint us with this character line-up!!

Reyna has definitely been through her fair share of struggles. She's an omega living in the darker side of town. She's learned she must stay tough in order to survive, while working two jobs to help her parents support the rest of her family. Reyna has made it a point to stay far away from Alphas, If anyone knows how they really are, it's her. That is until she meets 2 alphas who turn her world upside down. Theo, Stone and the rest of their pack Killian, and Milo might just be the only four alphas who want to see more of the real Reyna under the storm she's hidden herself behind. This story truly had it all. From both traumatized FMC and MMCs, to Fated Mates and Found Families, you'll be laughing, crying and definitely cheering on some heroic violence.

I love this. Reyna is in a terrible situation to help keep her family afloat, but not for their lack of trying. The society seems to be designed against those on the Southside, so while both of her parents work full time jobs, they still struggle. So Reyna has taken on two very dangerous jobs.

When Reyna starts being a ring girl for a new fighter, Obsidian, everything changed. He's an undercover Northside cop, and he happens to be drawn to Reyna. His packmates Theo, Milo, and Killian are also drawn to her, and they realize once she is off of her heat suppressants that she's their scent match.

Everything in Reyna's life has just gotten more complicated and dangerous than she ever thought it could be. Working through trauma and a major court case, her omega is balancing itself out, but just when things are looking better, Reyna is kidnapped. I couldn't put this one down!

This is the second book in the Riverwell Omegaverse series. It can be read as a standalone, though there are fun character crossovers for readers familiar with the first book.

Though she’s been through so much, Reyne’s strength and kindness shine through. She’s understandably wary of Alphas after being exploited an abused by them. It was wonderful seeing Reyne find hope and joy along the way—it was truly lovely.

What begins as a transactional arrangement with the Graylock pack evolves into deeper connections, with each relationship developing in its own unique way. The pack must earn not just her loyalty, but her heart.

I love how the author conveys the characters’ true feelings—doubt, lust, anxiety, anger, and despair—in a way that feels authentic and relatable.
