“boredom is the cocoon for which a butterfly is a state of play”

play as a magical word, as a way to imagine protest: “protest itself as an engaged and sustained play… through a serious or practical purpose”

feeling quite inspired by stumbling upon be oakley’s art in my current state of boredom and feeling connected to their thinking and world building.

also appreciative of how queer of an art form this publication feels, fluid and loose yet inspiring and stimulating!
