Is there more to Sikhism than the turban, the dagger and long hair? This is a great introduction to Sikhism's Sacred Scripture, called Sri Guru Granth Sahib. Its Scripture is called Guru because it is the "embodiment in visible form of the essence of the Person of the Ten holy Gurus. Being the repository of the Divine Word (Shabad, Nam) it is offered worship and not mere veneration". What struck me was the mysticism of it all. Monotheistic Indian religion. How cool is that!
