Today 1 in 10 adults have dyslexia, and Natalie Brooks is one of them. Growing up, Natalie was shocked to see the lack of resources aimed at adults and wanted to help. She is now the founder of coaching company, Dyslexia in Adults, which provides educational content and real solutions to help people transform the way they manage their dyslexia.
With a straightforward and no-nonsense approach, Dyslexia in Adults is full of practical advice and real-life examples to give you the tools and inspiration you need to achieve whatever you want in life.
As someone with dyslexia, I had to request this book. I was so grateful when I was approved. After reading this book, I’m more than grateful. This book has helped me immensely. I love how Natalie broke it down the way she did: Understanding, traits, confidence, strategies, strengths, and final thoughts. I found this breakdown easier to understand and it flowed naturally for me to process fully. While I loved the book entirely, I really enjoyed the confidence piece. I’ve struggled with so much embarrassment and low confidence because of my fear of saying something incorrectly or making an error. I need to overcome this and this book gave me a great starting point! If you have dyslexia or know someone with it, I highly recommend this book. Very insightful and helpful.
