About the author

Kathryn Simmonds’ poetry collection Sunday at the Skin Launderette won the Forward Prize for best first collection in 2008 and was shortlisted for the Costa Poetry Award and longlisted for the Guardian First Book Award.

Her short stories have been published in a number of magazines, including The London Magazine and The Barcelona Review, and broadcast on Radio 4. Her second poetry collection is The Visitations (2013) and she was the first poet-in-residence at The Charles Causley Trust in 2013/14. Seren published her first novel Love and Fallout in 2014.

E timpul pentru curățenia de primăvară, iar cei 20 de urși s-au pus pe treabă 🐻 Unul dă cu mopul, altul șterge praful, dar, ia stai puțin, de fapt, pare că totul e o harababură mai mare decât ne-am așteptat 🤭 Gunoiul curge peste tot, lăbuțele sunt lipicioase și aspiratorul a înghițit covorul 🙈 Dar ce contează, veselia e în toi, curățenia poate fi făcută și mâine 😉

Tare simpatică și foarte distractivă este lectura volumului "Douăzeci de urși" de Kathryn Simmonds și Alison Brown (trad. Marc Stănescu), apărută de curând la @panda_carti.copii ❤️ Copiii învață să numere și mai și deprind câteva moduri de a face dezor...curățenie 🤪 Ba mai mult, e o adevărată plăcere pentru ei să îl găsească pe păianjenul prieten pe fiecare pagină 🕷️

Cartea e perfectă pentru copiii de +2 ani, dar să știți că și frații și surioarele mai mari sau mai mici se pot delecta cu această numărătoare amuzantă 👩‍👦

This book is great fun, brilliant cute illustrations and rhymes that don't feel repetitive! Fun typography makes reading the book a joy. This book gets readers to practice counting without it feeling patronising and I love the range of bears; all ages, types and personalities. Absolutely adore the additions of follow along search & find elements to add more re-readability!

Riimittelevä ja hassutteleva kuvakirja 20 karhusta epäonnisissa siivouspuuhissa. Kirjan teksteistä valitettavasti huomaa, että kyseessä on käännös toisesta kielestä. Tarina kuitenkin viihdytti 3-vuotiasta.

A good little counting book great for early years teaching and for fundamental counting skills for young children. I can see little ones laughing a lot at the illustrations and silly bears.
