Perfectly Naïve

Rate this book
All I’ve ever wanted is to be loved as I am.

According to my mom, omegas don’t need brains or ambition. I’m too awkward. Too smart. Too inexperienced. She wants to fix me and force me into the arms of a pack of her choosing.

I may be perfectly naïve, but I’m determined to figure out what it means to be a good omega without my mom’s help. That's why I ask my brother’s best friend to fake date me and teach me everything I need to know.

Only fake dating quickly turns into real feelings, and when his pack asks to court me?

There’s no denying them.

My mom swears I can’t make a pack happy and have a career, but what if the evidence says otherwise?

Perfectly Naïve is a sweet OV with very low angst. Readers can expect a loving pack, an omega who loves exploring what it means to be an omega, and an inexperienced FMC. The pack teaches Liv everything she needs to know and more.

I liked this omegaverse. Soft and brilliant h who’s inexperienced and awkward. A random connection with her brother’s best friend leads to finding a pack of Hs who adore and value her. Low relationship angst with sweetness and steam. Some non-romance angsty moments that get intense (her mom is a trip, not in a fun way). I’ve been in the mood for omegaverse lately and this hit the spot.

Written in first person, multi-POV from all the mains. No ow drama (one of the Hs is on a date when he sees the h after a long time and he completely ignores his date), some om drama as the h’s mother is trying to set her up with packs that she’s not interested in. The Hs are experienced, with minimal info given though they didn’t sound like players, and the h was inexperienced.

Some tropes/themes:
☆ Reverse harem - MFMMM
☆ Scientist FMC from a high society family
☆ But she’s not into the trappings and money
☆ The guys are not considered high society
☆ FMC asks for lessons on how to be an omega
☆ Insta-attraction that still builds connections
☆ Two of the guys knew the FMC when she was younger
☆ Twins
☆ Brother’s best friend
☆ Some breeding kink talk
☆ Omegaverse deets - knots, fluids, heat, bites, instincts, etc.
☆ Abusive parent

I found the h to be delightful with how she was bright but struggled with social cues and knowing how to act at times. Her mother had also beaten into her head that she wasn’t a good omega and there was something wrong with her, so it was also understandable that she would have self-doubts and not be assertive. I did love that she was passionate about her work and wasn’t going to change in that capacity. I wish that her mother’s toxicity was dealt with earlier in the book than it is because it was wearing and even as the h’s feelings of security and confidence grew, she was still conflict-avoidant when it came to her mother, which frustrated me. Therapy would have been amazing to include here.

The guys were each unique and had their own time with the h to form individual relationships, as well as time within the group. There’s such warmth and togetherness when it comes to the guys as friends too. Banter, bonding, courting, and all the good stuff abound. Communication was also well done, especially as the h stopped taking blockers and suppressants, meaning that she was adapting to instincts pushing at her that she was unfamiliar with. The guys were careful about her being lucid enough to understand and consent, though sometimes she was driven by her desires to a point that pushed at their boundaries and resolve a little uncomfortably for me. I know it was meant to be cute, but when she’d go for a crotch grab as an alpha was fighting to maintain control, it didn’t hit the way it was intended for me.

It’s very certain early on that this pack will claim the h as soon as she’s comfortable and that sense of acceptance and safety were amazing for her. It also allowed her to explore her sexuality with the guys as opportunities presented themselves. Because she was curious and upfront about that, steamy times happen fairly early, though the full events take a bit longer and the claiming itself isn’t til later in the story. Plenty of spiciness occurs, though it doesn’t overshadow the emotional aspect of the romance or the other pieces of their story (like the h’s work and the eventual handling of issues that the pack has to address). A heat scene does happen and there are a couple of scenes with multiple partners at once.

I loved the h’s brother and his pack, also that the h had support from honorary parental figures. Her brother glitches for only a second and then is on board so yay for that. The book does touch on some sad themes such as grief for side characters. Also, not only the h has dealt with an abusive parent unfortunately. The pack does step up and lovingly supports a younger sibling though. These plot lines do have satisfying conclusions however.

No third act breakup and I’d say the climax of the story is the final confrontation with her mother. I would have loved to have seen the mom suffer personally. At least the h has other family members who are solid and her pack, of course. There’s a 9 month jump ahead that’s precious and then an epilogue 5 years later with more adorableness and them in their HEA surrounded by love.

The writing is engaging and there were some minor moments I was taken out of the story but the overall vibe was what I was in the mood for so I quickly flowed back into the story.

This was a cozy, tender Omegaverse story, which I genuinely enjoyed. The main heroine is devoted to her work and on the brink to make a great scientific discovery to assist omegas, who have gone feral, due to loss of a loved one, neglect or other shattering experience.
The FMC is wonderful, I liked the fact that she was not the typical omega, she did struggle with others expectations and I presume that her social awkwardness made her even more enchanting. When the leading lady stumbles upon a friend from the past her prerogatives do start to change. The pack was really nice, devoted and completely smitten with the FMC.
I did appreciate the fact that although they knew pretty early on she is the one, things did take time to develop. There was a good balance here when it came to the relationships forming, she did spend time with each pack member and then again as a group, getting to know them and eventually opening herself up to the ones who saw her for who she is. Of course, there was plenty of passion, but that came later on in the story, which again allowed for the foundations of a strong partnership to form prior to exploring the more physical side of things.

Overall, this was a very nice story, it did flow quite smoothly for me. It was exactly what I was looking for, low angst, genuinely tender characters and engaging storyline. Thank you, RL for the recommendation, it certainly was a very enjoyable experience.

This read a bit like a first or second novel by an author so I was surprised the authors have quite a backlog. There were some minor errors that were noticeable and mildly confusing. For the majority of the book, Olivia has two dads, Darren & Eric, and then at one point during the final blind date/party, she has a third named Quincy. However, shortly after her dad once again mentions it’s just the “three of them” meaning Darren, Eric, and her mom (gag.)

Positives are that Olivia is loveable although she waited way too long to be clear to her mother for me which made her seem a bit childish at times. Also a very well developed harem where the men were all easily identifiable and charming which is rare with harems of this size.

Not spoilers because it’s literally mentioned in the Introduction but be warned if you haven’t read:

I think my main critique of the book is actually pretty simple but to me is pretty important. I really dislike when a character is described one way and acts completely against their characterization. At the start of the book, Olivia states that she doesn’t want to have kids right now and that her focus is on her career. She feels some ambiguity about if she’ll ever find a pack to have kids but it doesn’t seem like that is what is stopping her from having kids. Then we get a numerous reminders about how important her career is to her and that it is taking a large amount of her time. Meeting her pack doesn’t change this about her. It just feels so off character for her to want to be pregnant immediately after mating. It’s clear from multiple scenes in the book that she does want kids with her men and I think the authors intention was to prepare you that she was going to be pregnant but I assumed it would be an epilogue event. A few years in the future after she had gotten the trials done or gotten settled into her career. For someone who is so career minded to not consider birth control and immediately choose to get pregnant rubs me the wrong way. It makes you feel like as soon as an omega gets mated she needs to have babies which was counterintuitive to Olivia’s struggle with her mom.

Again, not upset by her being pregnant but the way it was handled felt dismissive of what we were told and shown Olivia wanted.

if you’re looking for a sweet omegaverse read, this is a perfect choice. Olivia is returning home from a year working abroad in London. and tho Olivia has changed, her mother and her expectations of her as omega has not. when she runs into her brother’s best friend, Sawyer, during a disastrous date, Olivia decides it might be a good idea to get lessons on how to be the perfect omega for a pack… which also includes lessons in sex. but what Olivia doesn’t know is that Sawyer, and his pack, want to keep her a lot longer than just for the lessons.

this book is perfect for anyone who was told that they needed to change who they were to be accepted. Olivia is smart and thinks of things in a very scientific way, but she is also very naive. so she doesn’t always understand social cues or norms. but this pack accepts her and loves the way her brain works and how she responds. she’ll have you LOLing at moments with her responses.

this is low angst and a fast burn, so you get lots of courting and sweetness in the book.

Loved Olivia and Pack Flynn

Perfectly Naive is a sweet, cozy omegavese, with no drama within the pack. I would consider this a second chance type romance due to Olivia having connections with two of the pack members in the past. Olivia is breaking molds in her family, she is a very analytical and a super smart researcher. She is making waves in the medical field, but her mother is ready for her to find a pack and settle down.

I love that Pack Flynn makes her feel welcome and acknowledges that her career is important to her. I adore Pack Flynn and love that they are all different and all of them are super sweet to Olivia. Every single one of them is all in from day one. I want more of them!

I could barely put this book down! I was worried about the idea of a super naive FMC, but I LOVED Liv. I’m biased, as a PhD student, and found her nerdy, science and data focused mind to be a wonderful twist on the typical omega. The pack were all fantastic and I loved them. They were each clearly distinct and unique, which can sometimes be a challenge in pack dynamics.

I found the story interesting and the characters highly engaging and likable. It was relatively low-angst, incredibly sweet, and had a beautiful HEA.

I was very happy with this book and definitely recommend it!

DNF at 20%.

This book could be so good.

But I can't stand the "fake" dating when it's really a lack of courage on both of their parts to say they want the other.

And getting sexy with Liv when she hasn't met the pack and Sawyer secretly wants more isn't cool. I want things to be put in the open.

The lying to themselves and others is too hard for me.

Live laugh love omegaverse!

Four guys obsessed with you, who have their own thing that makes them interesting, and listen to you geek about your own ambition and passion...where can I get my own??

I liked this a lot, the guys were perfect, the spice was filthy, and the plot in the back was cute and sweet. BUT the pacing dragged a bit, and at one point it felt like we were just stretching it for the sake of length, the FMC needed to grow a backbone at some point...and didn't? And the way she was with her mom, even after said mom talked shit on her mates, was cowardly.

Thank you for the e-arc!

Quotes:

I don't think I've ever seen someone so beautiful. If she meets my pack and they like her? Fuck fake dating. I might want to court this pretty omega for real.

I never saw Liv coming, but fuck if she hasn't completely embedded herself in my heart.
A perfect bullseye.

“Romance was always such an elusive thing, but this pack is showing me a heck of a lot more than how to be a good omega. They’re helping me experience the very thing most omegas would kill for. A swoon-worthy love story.“

Perfectly Naive is such an amazing, sweet, HOT omegaverse that you must read or add to your TBR ASAP. I loved Liv and her pack. Fake dating/teach me quickly turns into Liv being courted by her dream pack. The pack dynamics were amazing. I loved how Sawyer and Liam had history with Liv and it started with Sawyer turning into a puddle for Liv to the entire pack quickly singing the same tune. And the twins?? HOT. The way they all fit Liv into their lives effortlessly was perfection. I could’ve read 100 more chapters of this book and been a happy woman.

I had so much fun reading this book. It was full of love, laughter, spice and the plot had me very curious how everything was going to play out. We love an omega in STEM 👏🏼 I absolutely adored this book and read it so fast because I just couldn’t put it down. Thank you so much to Rory and Harper for the ARC!!

Perfectly Naive is a tender, feel-good omegaverse romance that trades drama for warmth and genuine connection and keeps the angsty blissfully low. It’s the kind of story that wraps around you like a cozy blanket in a giant omega nest. Soft, sweet, and full of heart. Plus with some heat.

Olivia, a brilliant researcher breaking barriers in her field, returns home after a year abroad to find her mother still determined to mold her into the “perfect omega.” But Olivia has never fit the traditional mold. She’s logical, a little awkward, and not at all interested in pretending to be something she’s not. When a disastrous date reunites her with her brother’s best friend, Sawyer, she finds herself agreeing to a “lessons in being an omega” arrangement with him and his pack, though it quickly becomes clear that none of them see this as temporary.

Pack Flynn (Sawyer, Hayes, Wilder, and Liam) are deliciousness. Each of them brings something unique to the table: Sawyer’s steady strength, Wilder’s playful charm, Hayes’s quiet sweetness, and Liam’s bold affection. Together, they make Olivia feel safe, seen, and celebrated exactly as she is. Which legit is my favorite aspect of "softer" OV books- packs that worship and adore their omega and help them find confidence from creating a psychologically safe environment. Their connection grows naturally and tenderly, full of gentle humor, open communication, and affection that never feels rushed or forced.

Olivia herself is such a refreshing heroine. She's brilliant, literal, and disarmingly honest. And awkward lol. Her social awkwardness and scientific curiosity often lead to laugh-out-loud moments, but underneath her naivety is a deep well of resilience. Watching her learn to embrace her instincts, her desires, and her worth, without compromising her intellect or ambition or needed to "omega herself up" is deeply satisfying.

While some of the pacing around her mother’s toxicity drags a bit, the emotional payoff in the end is worth it. The way the pack rallies around Olivia, helping her heal from the belief that she’s “not enough,” is heartwarming and hits just the right spot for the something sugary sweet craving I like in soft OV. The story also touches lightly but thoughtfully on themes of grief, family, and chosen support systems. But again it's super sweet and low angst, and character-driven.

Steamy but heartfelt, Perfectly Naive is full of tenderness and the joy of finding your place with people who love you as you are. If you’re craving a low-angst omegaverse romance with smart humor, sincere emotion, and a heroine who learns she doesn’t need to change to be loved, plus the right dash of heat, then this is the one for you.

Liv is awkward and definitely an introvert. Her mother is not very nice and pushes her to be someone she isn't. She is constantly picking at how Liv looks and acts, leaving Liv with feelings of inadequacy. Her mother is obsessed with status and money, things Liv doesn't care any thing about.

Liv has spent the last year living in London, just to have some peace and pursue her career. She thinks a lot in terms of science, logically, and rationally. She honestly reminds me a lot of Temperance Brennan from Bones, super smart but socially inept/awkward. She has no filter and often blurts out scientific information when she is nervous.

The first pack her mother tries to set her up with is like a box of rocks. They don't understand or want to understand anything outside their own importance. Within the first 5 minutes of meeting her, they basically insinuate how lucky she should be that they decided to "branch out" since they only date models and influencers. Maybe that works for some omegas who just want to be taken care of, but I am on Liv's side that it would be a horrible home life. They would expect her to quit her job and just cater to their whims. Thanks, but no thanks.

Lucky for Liv, Sawyer (her brother's best friend and her childhood crush) comes to the rescue. A horrible dinner turns into a fun evening of conversation and food with Sawyer. It gets Liv thinking. Maybe Sawyer can help her be more confident and comfortable dating so she can find a pack. She makes him a proposition to fake date, and teach her how to be a good omega. We know what happens in fake-dating situations, and it was so cute to watch unfold.

I loved seeing Liv grow into herself. Realizing that she is enough, just as she is. She doesn't need to pretend or change anything about herself to be loved. Other than family drama, it was low angst, no OW drama, and just what I needed!

I loooooved this one.
I was hoping for a palate cleanser and this was perfect.
As someone who works in a field that many don’t understand (Artificial Intelligence), I totally get feeling misunderstood, awkward and introverted. That’s me too 🙋🏻‍♀️ I really loved Liv’s personality and her quirkiness and I also enjoyed the fact that even though her pack probably didn’t understand half of her ramblings, they loved her unconditionally and didn’t try to change her.
I wish we could have seen more spice throughout the book and for Olivia to actually grow more of a backbone sooner. I won’t go into details but I wish she would have told Marnie where to shove it during the packing scene instead of continuing to try to please her “one last time.”
Now for the spice, it’s descriptive which is a plus. The first is at 59% but the second doesn’t come until 81% but it lasts through til 87-88% and then a little more after that. (This is not including the 3rd base scenes). So while it wasn’t spicy throughout the book the last 20-ish% makes up for it.

I enjoyed this and if I ever get around to actually committing to rereads, this will be one of them for sure.

Tropes:

Sweet cost OV read.
This is sweetness all over and also generates a fair few giggles 😅
Our FMC Olivia is a brainiac working on research to help feral omegas; her work is everything as she wants to help and she hasn’t been focused on her omeganess as it’s not really her; and certainly not the her her t”)twaffle of a mother wants her to be 😡 that’s where the drama comes from in this book but it is mainly focused on the heartwarming story of Liv and the right pack for her 😍
After an horrific date she realises she needs help with her omega side and the fact she doesn’t want to be a virgin any longer at 27 😩 circumstances lead her back to her brothers best friend who she’s always harboured a crush on and the opportunity presents itself for her to learn with him and his pack through their ‘fake dating’ agreement…honestly some of the conversations and situations they find themselves in with her complete innocence, scientific interest and lack of filter does make you giggle 😂
However Pack Flynn very quickly determine this is not temporary for them and she is all they want and need just as she is 😍the men, alpha Sawyer the rock; twins flirty happy go lucky Wilder and sweet bear Hayes; then beta Liam who isn’t afraid to go after what he wants 🥰 they’re a great mix and really come together as a family throughout this standalone 😃

I’m a mood reader and one of my go to books for when I need something to get me through a rough day is a cozy OMV book and now I have a 2nd one to add to my mood reading roster.

This was the sweetest OMV. No OW drama. The most amazing Alphas and sweet Beta. She has a history with a couple of the men in this pack and it’s pure fate that they’re brought together in the way they were. Her mom is pure evil. She’s always being put down and told she’s not good enough. That’s she’s a bad Omega. She’ll never find a pack worthy of their station in society. 🙄 After the WORST forced blind date set up by her evil Mother 🤬, her brother’s best friend ends up being at the same restaurant, sees her, and saves her in the best way. 🥰 And the story takes off from there! I love that she’s working through finding herself and has this new found confidence and asks for help to learn how to be an Omega. That’s a hard thing to do. I love that she’s an endocrinologist working to find a cure for feral Omegas and it’s something that is personal for her too as she has a family member struggling. She’s so smart and doesn’t shy away from sharing her knowledge and just wanting to help others always. However she can.

The pack is incredible. They build her up. They teach her. They reassure her. They have her back and help her see that she’s perfect just the way she is. 🫠🫠🫠 First scenting of Alphas 🥵🥵 First heat 🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵 First 🪢 🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵

If you love OMV and especially a sweet one, read this book. HIGHLY recommend it.

According to her mother, Liv should already be married to a pack that will further her family's standing and produce babies. However, that's not the Omega Liv wants to be. She loves her career and believes her research is important. She would love a pack but has no idea how to be a good Omega and has no desire to be with the packs her mother chooses. Saved from a disastrous date by her brother's best friend, she asks him to help. She proposes that he fake dates her and teaches her how to be a good Omega, eventually asking the rest of his pack to also help. Soon enough, real feelings start to develop, and they ask to court her. They are supportive of her career and don't want to change her. They insist she's already the perfect Omega. Could she have it all, the pack and a career, even if her mom says it's impossible?

Not bad, not special. I liked that Liv was brilliant, hardworking, and socially awkward. I didn't like that as a grown woman with a paid career; she couldn't tell her mother no. No, I don't want to date packs you choose. No, I don't want to wear that dress. No, I'm not interested in going to that event. And especially, no, I'm not quitting my job to get married and have babies. She had lived abroad for over a year, get an apartment, and take full control of your life. It was hard to be fully invested in her character when she wasn't fully invested in herself.

🌟 “The truth is, the gradual descent into infatuation is blanketed in quiet moments and warm embraces.”✨
Perfectly Naive by Rory Miles and Harper Frey ARC Review - Release date October 23rd

Overall 4.5/5

🥰This brings all the sweet vibes! Our adorable omega is a scientist and approaches her job and life in very similar ways. Identify the problem, form a hypothesis, test with an experiment, and then analyze the data. Her internal monologue cataloging observations is so darn adorable! Her sweetness and desire to just be loved for who she is makes her so easy to adore as a FMC!

🩷We love a group of men who know that their omega is perfect just as she is, and her quirks are what make her adorable and perfect for them. The support they give her to help her restore her self-confidence is so warm and cozy!

I love a low-angst, swoony romance!

Perfectly Naive is a wonderful book by Rory Miles and Harper Frey. This is a sweet standalone OV story involving twins, two childhood crushes and one unsure omega. Olivia or Liv is moving back in with her parents after moving from London to Chicago. Her mother has a different set of expectations for her and her Dads are absent. Liv is dedicated to her job that involves finding a treatment for omegas that go feral after losing a partner.

Liv has not had much luck with romance, but that takes a turn when she goes on a date her mother set up a pack. She is saved from the pack by her brother’s best friend who she had a crush on when she was younger. She asks him to teach her to be a good omega. One of the steps in that process is to stop taking the blockers which has made her lose her sense of smell. Once she can smell again, things take a turn with Pack Flynn (Sawyer, Liam, Hayes and Wilder).

How will Liv react when she can smell Pack Flynn? What will Liv do when she finds out another childhood crush is a part of the pack? Will finally have the backbone to break away from her mother?

This is a sweet and steamy omegaverse with no swords crossing, the focus is all on her, just the way I like it!

Olivia is a scientist working on a cure to stop omegas from turning feral when they lose a mate which can be all too common when the grief becomes all consuming. As this is so important to her, her personal life has taken a bit of a backseat so she is a virgin at the age of 27. On her return home her overbearing mother is insistent she finds a pack of good standing and arranges a date on her first night back. The date is as bad if not worse than she feared it would be but luckily she is saved by her brother's best friend from their childhood. She asks him to teach her how to be a good omega, to please a pack under the cover of fake dating and he agrees. But when the rest of his pack smells her, it won't remain fake for long!

This is super sweet and swoony. I did get a number of giggles over Liv, I loved the restaurant scene where she talking to Verity (her sister in law) about certain things which she obviously didn't mean to be overheard! She had a history (an innocent one) with 2 members of the pack but the other 2 were just as quickly smitten, as a pack they gelled very quickly. It is very low angst. There isn't any angst within the pack it's just mainly caused by Liv's mother, trying to get her mated off to a pack of her choosing and even trying to force the issue. I loved the characters, loved the storyline, there is nothing about this not to love!

Perfectly Naive is a standalone, contemporary, brother's best friend, sweet, Omegaverse romance with an inexperienced omega and a pack excited to teach her.

Liv doesn't know what it means to be an omega. She has concentrated on her education throughout her life and suppressed her omega side. She asks her trusted friend, and her brother's best friend, to teach her how to be an omega.

This was such an amazing book. I absolutely loved Liv. She is so smart and I loved the way that was portrayed throughout the story. I also loved the guys, Sawyer, Hays, Liam, and Wilder. I loved the little twists in the story and the way the guys are with Liv. The chemistry and spice between the guys and Liv is terrific.

The writing, flow, and pace were perfect and lead to a seamless read. The characters, character development, relationship development, storytelling, storyline, and world building were all fabulous as well.

If you are looking for a sweet omegaverse with a smart, yet naive omega and a protective and loving pack, then I'd definitely recommend this book.

🍯 Brother’s Best Friend
🍯 Twin Sandwich
🍯 Sweetly Naive Omega
🍯 Low Angst

I thoroughly enjoyed this OV! It was the first that I’ve read from these authors, and I ate it upppppp!

Anyone that knows me, knows I froth over a good fake dating trope, and whilst this one wasn’t fake for very long - it was the perfect set up for this group.

Each of the MCs had a developed personality and flaws and treated her like an absolute queen. The spice was hot, the plot twists were so fun and emotional at times whilst still keeping the angst low - honestly loved it!

I’m in my OV era, and this was another incredible one to add to the shelf!

Refreshing

Perfectly Naive is a sweet standalone RH omegaverse. Fake dating, brother's best friend, family issues, and finding your people.

Liv is back from London. Her job and research is very important to her. Too bad her mother doesn't understand. She just wants her daughter to marry a pack that she approves of. So she sets her up with a pompus pack of alphas. Good thing her brother's best friend is there and rescues her. This leads to fake dating that turns into way more.

I love that Liv is naive, awkward, and a little lost. She doesn't know how to be an omega, but with Sawyer and his packs help she discovers how to own who she is. It was great to see her grow and gain confidence in herself. And I love the added part about Liv's research is to help packs that have lost a member within the pack. It just adds more to her character.

This is such a sweet, swoony fake dating Omegaverse, I don’t even have a silly opener.
I really like Olivia. She’s so smart and soft, but that layer of insecurity and awkwardness makes her so real. She’s so naturally funny without even trying, and tries to see the best of everyone. She’s committed to learning everything she can to become a “perfect Omega,” and she’s fully committed to her education (fake dating). I think she’s one of my favorite FMCs.
The guys are all so perfect for her. For all their differences, she becomes their entire world, and they don’t try to change her, but help her realize her worth. That despite what her mother says, she IS the perfect Omega, especially for them.
The spiciness builds over the book, with a focus on building the relationships. It’s very low angst, with the drama coming from outside the pack.

Olivia is not your typical omega. She’d much rather be in a lab peering through a microscope than decorating her nest. She’s inexperienced in all the ways that make an omega an omega—and after yet another disastrous date arranged by her overcritical mother, she decides to take matters into her own hands.
Her solution? Find someone to teach her how to be a “real” omega. And who better than her brother’s best friend—the one she’s secretly crushed on for years? Even better, they’re scent-matched… and so is his pack. What could possibly go wrong?

As a mood reader who adores omegaverse, this one hit just right. It’s low-angst, funny, and full of spicy moments (the alphas are total heartthrobs.). I laughed out loud more than once at Olivia’s awkward, endearing moments.

Overall, Perfectly Naïve is a lighthearted, feel-good omegaverse read that’s perfect when you want something steamy and fun. Solid 4 stars from me!

I loved this book!
It honestly had it all - phenomenal banter, crazy controlling snobby parents, an amazing intelligent FMC and a caring and supportive/protective pack.
I adore Olivia’s work ethic and her desire to improve/save other omegas, also her naiveness of all things omega. Her direct, matter of fact and scientific communication was brilliantly written.
The pack were perfection, their gruffness, caring, softness and adore or Liv was beautiful to read.
I laughed out loud numerous times throughout the book, but on the other hand there were deep sad scenes too. Not to mention that extremely detailed heat scenes - completely hot AF!
Overall an absolutely phenomenal omega book, hope these authors cowrite again very soon.

This is such a sweet low angst omegaverse. It has one of my favorite tropes fake dating/teach me.

Olivia hasn't had the best home life with an overbearing mother and passive fathers. Luckily for her, a flash from the past saves her from an awful date. So of course Olivia comes up with the idea that he helps her you know "for science".

I loved almost every moment of this minus the Mom. You'll get to see why. The guys are amazing and so patient with Olivia. These are our consent kings! Which is such a turn on.
And come on there are twins 🥰 Love me a twin sandwich.

Olivia is such a nerd and I identify with her so much. She has so many honest and quirky moments that you just fall in love and with her.

Hoping we get more omegaverse from these two authors.

I absolutely love Olivia in this book! She may not have the experience however she sure knows what she wants and has done enough research that brings an incredible amount of humor.

I felt like that pack really loves and cares for Olivia and are showing her not to always listen to what her mother says or makes her feel. She has been so closed off and focused on her research because she is so smart and found her escape from the critiquing however in her focus she closed herself off to romance and love.

I felt the character growth throughout this book provided a great storyline while including the plot twists that will have you wanting to scream. The steam will also leaving you needing cold showers.

I cannot wait to delve into further books from these two incredible authors!

Oh I loved this. I love packs that are just normal people. Liv and Liam both come from money, but their dysfunctional families that shifted their priorities. They want to be happy and find love, not mate for money. I would check the TW for how Liam's dad treats his sister.

Liv is a scientist working to find a cure for feral omegas. She is so smart, and the guys love that. They adore how smart she is. Sawyer is her brother's best friend, and now an elementary school teacher 😍 Hayes is a big, sexy, gruff mechanic. Wilder is his twin brother. He's goofy and a talented tattoo artist. Finally, Liam, her former crush, who has been crushing on her (and maybe stalking her instagram) since high school. I love these men. They adore their omega and are all in immediately.

“Olivia is the brightest and sweetest omega I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing.”

“I’m just a girl again, taking the hand of a boy who looks at her like she’s his fate.”

“If she meets my pack and they like her? Fuck fake dating. I might want to court this pretty omega for real.”

“Reaching across the table, I link my hand with his. “I notice you.” <33

“I never saw Liv coming, but fuck if she hasn’t completely embedded herself in my heart.
A perfect bullseye.”

“I’ve loved every iteration of Liv, but this current version of her? The one where she’s always smiling, the one where she rocks our kids to sleep and looks gorgeous despite the bags under her eyes, the one where she’s confident and knows she’s loved? This version of Liv may be my very favorite.”

ARC REVIEW
I absolutely loved this book. It was all about her breaking free from the mold her mother tried to force her into and finally finding herself. I adored how every member of the pack played a role in her growth—each of them loved her for her weird, quirky, brilliant self. And the way she’d just blurt out her random hypotheses? Hilarious.
I really liked that we got to see her individually bond with each of them—Sawyer, who’s always been her steady constant; Liam, who’s been in love with her since they were kids; and the twins, who were completely obsessed from the moment they caught her scent.
Her bond with her sister-in-law and brother was so sweet, too. Sure, he got mad when he found out (understandably so), but it made the family dynamic feel even more real.
Overall, this was such a fun, heartwarming read with just the right mix of humor, love, and self-discovery.

Omega Liv (Olivia FMC) is smart in some ways but naive in others. Her mother is a bulky that plays on her naivieties and anxieties to force her into dating packs she has no interest in and putting her down. Trying to live up to her unrealistic ideals of what a perfect omega is. So when one of her mothers planned date goes disastrously wrong her brothers best friend - Sawyer saves her night. Fueling up an old crush she had for him into a smoldering one between him and his pack. I loved Sawyer & his pack. Each guy was sweet and funny as hell. I enjoyed reading this book and I loved Liv and her pack so much. A great read.
