Choosing Amish is the 6th heartwarming book written by Samantha Price in her Amish Romance Secrets series. The characters are very likeable and realistic. The author has done a good job taking her readers on Morgan's journey.

Morgan is in love with a young Amish man, Jacob Miller. They are from two different worlds and this makes their relationship almost impossible. This story shows us that if you love someone you would be willing to do almost anything for them but who will make the biggest decision of their life? I was happy with the way this story played out but also amazed at who made the change.

I was not given a complimentary copy of this book to read and review. I was not approached by anyone to post a favorable review. I have rated this book with five stars for meeting my expectations of a wonderful story.

Congratulations to Samantha Price for writing another fantastic story for her readers enjoyment and continuing her series.

Picked at random to listen to on a car ride. I usually like Amish Novels, and I KNOW this one was short, only a couple hours to listen to, but it just...it fell so flat. It seemed like they repeated the same things over and over about "But you'll have to leave your family...but you'll have to join the amish...WE CAN'T BE TOGETHER...".Only to have it all resolve after a 5 second conversation with a Bishop. Maybe I need to stick to longer novels instead, because these short type ones just aren't for me. There's not enough time to properly develop plots and characters and make them interesting.

With Morgan being an Englischer and Jacob being Amish, one of them would have to choose between the two worlds in order to openly profess their love. Could Morgan submit to the Amish way of life or would Jacob leave his family and everything he’s ever known just to be with her? This story is proof, by way of fiction, of the power of Gott’s power as He consistently transforms hearts and minds to the truth of His love and faithfulness.

DNF after about 45min. I'm a huge fan of Amish fiction, but the writing in this was so bad. It pains be to be that blunt. The setting & characters were fine, but the writing itself was kind of childish. (Like 'so-&-so walked to the door' 'so-&-so opened the door' 'so-&-so was surpeised' That kind of thing). The author read the audiobook kind of mechanically, & with the emphasis not always on the appropriate word. I can't recommend.

Can true love win over?
Morgan has been living with her Amish aunt and uncle. She falls hard in love with an Amish young man. There is much praying and soul searching from them both—Megan must make the decision to crossover if their lives are ever to connect. Can true love endure this lfe-changing decision.

The story had suspense throughout the book. It showed how true love can change a person to change to the Amish community. The change to the Amish community was through faith.
